Grace Meyers is an author of beachy feel-good romances and women's contemporary fiction. She was born in the south, but has traveled a bit since then and now lives in a small coastal town.
This was a great ending to this series!! I loved it. It went back to Tara’s life over the years and why she stayed away. Perfect ending. I did receive a arc of this book for my review
What a great ending to this series. This series dealt with a lot of issues, I felt like I was on a roller coaster of emotions. Received an ARC and this is my voluntary review.
Sherry & Stephen find Tara & try to convince her to come back to Nantucket to see her daughter & explain to me why she had to leave. They tell Tara they raised her as their own & never told her any different & now she has found out & is furious with them. Tara is still afraid to go back afraid those men or some of their friends will be waiting for her. She told them she has remarried & has two sons. She apologizes, she never planned to fall in love again, get married or have children. The way she met her husband was very unusual & like non other. After over 40 years Tara is still afraid to return. Sherry tried to tell her most were either dead or in jail. Will Tara go back with them? Will Zoe accept her as a friend or will she reject her after all this time? How will it end? Also will Zoe & Marshall ever get together???
I received this ARC for free & I am giving my review for free in my own words. I know you will will enjoy it. I think Grace Meyers’ books just keep getting better & better!
Truly enjoyed how author rounded out Tara's rough time in life to her current husband and 2 kind teenage sons, one named after her husband that was killed. She and Antonio make a solid, wonderful couple and appreciate how author brought this into the solid storyline completing that line of questioning.
Ending was great for main characters Zoe and Marshall and glad they realized their love for each other before life stole anymore time away from them.
This was a good series and one of the best from author in the past couple of years. Enjoyed all the drama and mystery in this series and the unique ending to this series, too.
Received an early copy for my honest and voluntary review.
What a great ending to this wonderful series. Another glimpse into Tara’s life in Spain. Loved how she and Antonio met. Then she is back in Nantucket to get to know her daughter. She gives Zoe advise about love when Zoe tells her about Marshall. Just a very heartwarming story that I am sure I will read again. Love Grace Meyers books.
I was given this advanced copy for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.
Zoe finally gets to know her family's history directly from her mother. She meets Tara's family. She and Marshall finally have a heart to heart talk. Rosa and Mike decide to get married with a quick and simple wedding. The family Inn pulls everyone together.
Would have been nice to have the grandparents finally have a talk with Sherry and Stephen but almost everything else was resolved by the end.
It is important to read this series in order. The books are short. I often read one or more in a day. There is no reason to have so many individual books to read and pay for. I loved the characters and the way the plot was contrived (Zoe's story and Tara's story) There a lot of editing errors in these books, incorrect ponouns, and basic use of grammar which was disappointing.
There were likeable characters with interwoven stories that kept me continue through the series. But I sort of begged the question of why it couldn't have been one book! Then I remembered the old serial movies watched by kids in the 1950s, and knew the answer....to keep us coming back and paying a dime for 2 short movies and a news reel.
A sweet end to the series. Zoe finally has the answers she is looking for after spending time with her mother. She also realizes love is something to appreciate and makes a decision to act on her feelings. There is lots of background information on how Tara has spent her past life and the emotions she has been having.
Thank you to the author for this ARC. This review is my honest opinion.
This was a really great series. The story had mystery, drama, and heartache in addition to hard work, fun times, and love. It isn’t quite the typical, cheesy Christmas story, although there is a small amount of that. This is closer to every day life. I highly recommend this. As good as it’s been reading this during the holiday season, it would be good anytime of the year.
I love this series of books. Grace Meyers has it all in this book. Romance, suspense, intrigue, friendships, trials, righting of wrongs. The characters are each well defined and interesting. Great read. I was given an advanced copy of this book and I am freely leaving my review.
Beautiful ending to an emotional story set during the holidays. I wish there was more to the story. I would love to see what happens with the characters. Highly recommend.
All six books deserved this rating. Well written ,most enjoyable. Difficult to put down. Should be made into a mini series . Perhaps a shorter time line, but of course that did allow for many tears. The ending was perfect.
I loved the story and have only one complaint. It should be a one book purchase, not six. The story was terrific and I enjoyed the final resolution of it. I highly recommend it, just want it combined into one book!
Nantucket, this series, though a bit predictable, was still enjoyable to read
. the entire series was easy reading. Would recommend for anyone who enjoys romance and series books. I have read several of her books & am never disappointed.
Loved reading this whole series. Getting to know the main characters through current and past events was a good process to understand their actions and decisions. Reached a satisfying and welcome conclusion
I really enjoyed this story, a little of everything with a great story line. I am going to be reading more of Grace Meyers. I so enjoyed relaxing by the tree with book. I am sorry it is o er.
I did not love this story, firstly, it isn't all one book but several that you have to buy if you want to finish the story and secondly the only mention of Christmas is in the epilogue. Very disappointing plus too long and drawn out.
Great book, the whole series was wonderful. I really enjoyed the wholesomeness of the series. The characters about real life and fun making for enjoyable reading.
Once again I really enjoyed reading a book series by Grace Myers. Once you finish a book you can’t wait for the next book. I highly recommend reading this series.
We find out how Tara and Zoe life came togther. All secrets were tools and Zoe finally told !Marshall her feelings for him Great series hard to put d oil wn
I’ve read several of this author’s books before. This one felt like a disconnect to me. It takes place in Nantucket but the way the story was written, it could’ve taken anyplace. I didn’t feel the charm of Nantucket. The characters were not fully developed. Just disappointing.
