Grace Meyers is an author of beachy feel-good romances and women's contemporary fiction. She was born in the south, but has traveled a bit since then and now lives in a small coastal town.
This book is a little slower paced. Zoe’s parents have left on the hunt for her birth mother Tara they finally reach out to Zoe and let her know where they are. In the meantime she searches for clues to where they are and stumbled across more shocking info that they have hidden from her When her parents finally come back they have Tara with them. I’m liking the stores but it’s kinda felt dragged out in this book. Only one more left to finish the story. Can’t wait to read the last book. I did receive a arc of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Zoe goes back to the inn to see her parents but no one is there. The place is locked up tight & they are suppose to have guess coming in & Mike was waiting to do repairs. What is going on? She finds a note, but nothing that tells her very much. Zoe is very unset & worried about her parents because they won’t answer their phone. She gets busy trying to get the inn ready for the guests that are supposed to check in & Mike is doing the repairs. Zoe has done a DNA test. She learns that her parents are not her real parents. Which her dad was no surprise, but she was surprised to find out her mother was really her aunt. She was worried about her parents & where they were. They only said they were going to look for her mother that was all.
After talking to her grandmother & finding out her parents were missing they decided to come & be with Zoe. After many phone calls & messages, Zoe finally heard from her mother. She told Zoe she was in Spain, that was where Tara was last heard from; but they weren’t sure she was still there because she had to run from the men who killed her father. They also were not sure if Tara was still there, if she was still alive. They didn’t know where to begin to look for her. Sherry’s minutes were running out so she was cut off. Zoe is beside herself with worry. I can’t wait for the next book to see what happens. You will love this series!
I was given a free ARC book & I am giving my review for free in my own words.
Zoe started showing true concern about her parents and how they were doing because of no communication with them for most of this book. She was showing her concern in her actions and treatment of Marshal, her best friend and someone who she's like to become more then her best friend. Believe and would like to see these feelings reciprocated by Marshal to Zoe and have their true love shown toward each other.
Rosa, Zoe's close friend and Mike, Marshal's best friend, became engaged and seeing the planning and mystery as to who asked whom first was a fun read in this book. Rosa and her quirky personality add a lot of levity and humor to the story.
Enjoying this series very much and also appreciate how this book ended. Looking forward to the last book in this fun and intriguing series by Grace.
Received an early copy for my honest and voluntary review.
Another cliffhanger at the end. Zoe returns to the inn determined to get the true story from her parents. To her surprise they are gone, leaving a short note.
Worried about their location, Zoe sets out to resume Running the inn. Her friend Marshall decides to stay at the inn until her parents return. Zoe’s grandparents arrive and give her several tasks to try to determine where her parents are. Meanwhile everyone decides to work together to decorate the inn for Christmas. Friends Mike and Rosa are sharing their own secret
Thank you to the author for this ARC. This review is my honest opinion.
I could not put down this page turner and read it completely in one setting. It was wonderful to see the story begin to really unfold, and see the characters becoming able to be true to themselves , and to one another. Zoe comes to terms with her situation, and begins to put more of pieces together. She is beginning to accept her true feelings for Marshall, and that is one thing, of many, to look forward to in book six. And so, the story continues …
The writing has improved since the first series I read, but there are still editorial issues. This series the characters dialogue seemed a bit immature for their ages. They sounded more like late twenties, early thirties, not mid forties. The storyline is interesting and I will read the 6th one next week.
Oh my! Get your Hanky ready. This is such a good read. Grace Meyers is hitting all the bases with this book. Romance, trials, heartwarming read. I can’t wait for the next book to continue this lovely story. I was given an advanced reader copy of this book and I am freely leaving my review.
What an rollercoaster this is. Tara & Zoe’s journey is a long and emotional one. Will they figure it all out in time to have a Merry Christmas? I can’t wait to see how it all wraps up in the last book.
I'll admit I'm still skipping they some if the stuff that seems mire like a script than a book... But its good and Kim looking forward to seeing how it all wraps up.
Zoe gets closer with her grandparents, especially her grandmother. She learns something more about her parents and wonders where her parents ran off to.
She's slowly realizing she has feels for Marshall but thinks she's ONLY a friend to her. Rosa and Mikey are definitely in love.
Grace Meyers writes a good story. She makes me feel as though someone I know is telling me a story. I love her characters, especially Zoe. I feel this could easily be a true story in my world.
This is a good read. Lots of issues are addressed in this book. Very heartwarming! I can't wait to read how this series ends. Received an ARC and this is my voluntary review.
Love the story, but still annoyed with the multi chapter releases of the story. I am enjoying the story immensely and look forward to the next set of chapters.
I love the books. I would give it a five except the characters, Zoe and friends are a little immature. They act like they’re in their late 20’s or early 30’s.
