You meet up with your old friends from high school about five years later to celebrate your new, fabulous apartment. While drinking wine, playing games, and reminiscing about the better days, HER name comes up during a round of Extreme Truth. Lyla Van-Alst...the girl you and your three friends bullied to the point where one of your pranks cost her, her life. Even though you and your friends were never caught, and it was ruled as an unfortunate accident, she never forgot, waiting for the right time to seek her revenge.
Now wielding the power of a Sex Demon, it's your turn to be at her mercy.
while i liked some parts of the story, it honestly wasn't my favorite. it was on the shorter side though, very dark, and spicy. howeveeer, i would've enjoyed it more if there hadn't been such graphic revenge scenes with the other friends. i would've preferred for the focus to be on the two main characters. it did get a lot better towards the end and did keep me entertained, though.
Okay! I know what you're thinking if you've read this book and are now reading this review. - 4 stars?? There's something wrong with you!! Probably :D
Buuuuut I actually enjoyed this one a bit more than I was thinking I would but probably not for the reasons you thinks. So let's talk about the elephant in the room. This is torture -corn- in a dark romance mask. That's how it reads, and I am an avid dark romance reader. I love me a dark romance. This is worse.
Now onto why it has 4 stars. This reads like a fanfiction straight out of AO3. I mean the main character is literally Y/N (but not me because I'm not claiming that energy). And once you get past what is actually happening: the torture of these women, there are some veryyy funny things in the book. This book gives very camp. It is so so campy.
Now, the premise is incredibly confusing because why on god's green earth would somebodies' ultimate truth (or whatever it was called) be: would you f-ck a demon? -.- Why would you ask that? Also, the people in this book are cartoonish villains. I mean the absolute worst people you can imagine, but in the most unbelievable way. And the way to get revenge was by....having relations with them???? How did that help? In what way did that help Lyla at all?
And the romance part is crazy. Like Y/N was such a bad person to you and all is forgiven because she was just being mean because she liked you and her friends were the worst? Thats crazy.
This book reads like a fever dream and for some reason I liked it enough for 4 stars. So maybe that says something about me. :D
this was straight up a BDSM, sex demon, erotic porn novel. This went in a completely different direction to what i assumed it would. I didn't expect it to be paranormal story. I felt like the I was thrown down a well with this read. I wish looking back that I had read a little more about this before I started it. This wasn't an enjoyable read for me. I can't quite place why. The writing was alright. it wasn't too heavy of a story. Maybe it was more the story in general. If I was looking for nothing more than an erotic short story than I may have enjoyed this, but it was lacking a lot.

Oof, this one was a yikes for me. I LOVE SMUT. And I definitely love a lesbian representation. But this was TRAUMATIC. Like I get it was supposed to be dark, but it lacked a balance for me. Not enough other, outer story to even it out. 120ish pages long, super short. But read to me like a fanfiction, trying too hard.
What the helly did I just read? A girl who was bullied in school dies, only to return as a sex demon who tortures the girls that tormented her. Most of the book is just pure torture and unhinged chaos. I honestly don’t know how it made me feel, but I was too curious to stop reading!
Wished it was longer. My first dip into smut and dark romance and I really enjoyed it. Definitely not for everyone but I thought it was really creative.
I really want this book to be on Wattpad, I know it’s already there but I want the whole book cuz I can’t buy this book because I’m from Czech Republic but I love this book
