The Vampire's Touch
The vampires want to turn us all. I just want to turn the channel.
I never expected Mr. Jubbles of Yeehaw Junction, Florida, to return to my inn. After all, the last time he stayed here, he witnessed a monster invasion and was scolded for stealing towels.
I really didn’t expect him to be attacked and drained by a vampire in my pantry while stealing cocktail peanuts. Nor, for me to be accused of his murder.
Things only go downhill from there.

Great action story of vampires being true Monsters!
Not your typical vampire story!
Darla and her family help her run her Inn. She is doing well with balancing making sure that her guests get the breakfast (including her homemade scones), wine tasting hour, keeping the in house vampire hidden, and to top it off, still learning her Goddess skills.
So, her guests are still alive... well, sort of. One of them was bitten by a vampire, (not the house vampire), and then the vampire spell took over the city, and that is when things started to get fired-up!
Darla gets warned of her husband turned to a vampire if she does not take the gift of 'Hope' back... she is ready to die. She does not have her daughter, and after centuries of grieving, she has no hope, and does not want hope.
This was a busy story, and a lovely continuation of Darla's family and Inn, as well as including her cousin Missy.

Bravo Mr Parker, bravo! I didn't think Mr Parker's books could get any better and along comes this book. This is one of those books where it starts off strong and just keeps getting stronger and better as the book goes on. If you love supernatural/paranormal books, your going to love this series. I highly recommend Mr Parker's books. You won't regret reading any of them.

Good for light reading
An enjoyable series as a whole though the story lines waffle between too simplistic and just right for a light read. Leaving me feeling like part of the plot was left in just outline form. Some events would be better left out as they are so lacking in depth that they distract from the overall story and leave the reader with a strong feeling that something is missing.

Excellent book. The book was suspenseful and the characters were Great. The story plot was very interesting and I had no idea what was going to happen throughout the book. It was exciting and enjoyable. I read it straight through and I thought it was one of the best in this series. Can’t wait for the next book to come out.

Darla is making headway on all the tasks that she needs to do to keep the world healthy and safe as the Goddess Danu. I hope she finds a way to permanently defeat the Father of Lies. I am curious how all that has happened is going to turn out. This is such a fun series to read and I loved this latest book in the saga!

What a fun story. You will be well entertained by the Vampire’s Touch. The plot is solid and great world building ensures a wonderful story. Another home run by Ward Parker. This series is a treat to read and highly enjoyable, highly recommend.

The books starts off with a twisty, turning adventure. The Fast pace will keep you caught up in it.
Just when you think you hav the whodunnit? Guess again, you have friends, frenemies, allies,lies, and someone who doesn't want to cooperate and makes threats to you and your loved ones.
You will not want to put this down. Charge up your Kindle, make up your Hot or Cold drink.
A must READ!

Book 9 does not disappoint!
It has been awhile since book 8 so I needed a chapter or two to feel I was on the same page. The characters are fun and whacky.
