Davidson and Young's supernatural western lets illustrator Coferosa free to establish a world of sulphur and gravel and pistol flashes of terrifying things: dialogue is sparse, the use of space reflecting the worlds-apart edginess they want to show and it works its magics. It loses prestige for the revenge narrative - I guess these are all typical -for what it is, it's a visually satisfying read and might serve as a lesson to other would-be comics scripters and illustrators.
