Things are getting crazy in Cupid's Rogue, the second book in the Heart Stone Mates series, and I love it. The first book I found interesting and entertaining, but I found Cupid's Rogue to be a lot better.

Quinn is a good soul. She's kind, caring, thoughtful, and respectful, making life better for those she encounters but don't mistake that for weakness. No, in this book Quinn is a wildcard, she shows strength and determination in this book. Her greatest quality is her ability to care for others, people keep saying that she's supposed to be a Luna but I feel Quinn is an Alpha all the way.

The guys are all great, even Kristoffer. Sure more of their own sorted pasts are coming out but they are all committed to Quinn. A lot of big feelings are developing and some heavy talks are being had. There is a little downtime in this one and Quinn is forced to confront her feelings about having multiple mates, uncertain if Fate has made a mistake. I don't think it has, Quinn has the exact people she needs in her life and while there may be some bumps in the road, the guys prove that every step of the way.

This book had an exciting plot. Jakob was as present in this book but the threat of him sure was. Jakob is very much unhinged and plotting behind the scenes. He's as much of a wildcard as Quinn but in a very bad way, his evil knows no bounds. This time it's more of a psychological attack than a physical one, he may crazy but Jakob isn't exactly stupid either. A lot of crap happens and everything leads back to the Red Ash Pack, Jakob's pack. This is the most horrible pack in history and they need to be stopped but Jakob has to be stopped first and that is proving to be extremely difficult.

Cupid's Rogue was awesome. There was an underground fight ring, a mysterious club, and even more, bad guys, stalking, and big secrets were revealed. The story ended on quite the cliffhanger with Jakob making a big move and Quinn making a big decision. I have no idea how long this series is, but I am wondering how everything is gonna get resolved and pray that all my favorites make it out alive.

Cupid's Rogues is the second book in the Heart Stone Mates series. We pick up we left off from the last book. Man, or antagonist, Jakob is a completely unhinged SOB. I mean, damn lol. Yet, Quinn is the complete opposite. She is sweet and caring and kind. Her mates are a perfect match for her. This book was completely unexpected and the twists and turns had me wanting more till the very last page. Can't wait for book 3!!!

Well, this book was just a lot.

It picks up a bit before where the previous book left off, just from Quinn's POV this time, so we see why she suddenly cried out in panic at the end of "Cupid's Pack."

There isn't really much to say about this book though. It was just a roller coaster of emotions right up until the end where everything literally explodes. And the next book talks about a major loss. And I don't know if its the loss of the other bonds after she is marked or because someone dies. It kind of leaves that up in the air with the dreaded "TO BE CONTINUED" plastered across the end.

There was a time when I hated those three words and I still do, just for slightly different reasons. Before, it was because of a show I was watching and would have to wait until the next week to find out what happened next. Now it's when a book ends with it and my wait time can range from a few minutes [if I already have the next book] to possible years of there's no sequel announced. Thankfully, this instance is the former. I have the third book in this trilogy ready to go and I'm very much worried for Quinn's little sister and their eight-year-old new addition.

This author wouldn't kill a child the reader just bonded with. Right? This is my first time reading this author so I don't know the lengths she will go. Though, I suppose I'm about to find out.

This was a well written and fast paced continuation of the series and I have to say, it was definitely action packed. Quinn and her guys continue to fight for each other and those they love but the bad guys... are really bad. Jacob and his pack really need to be stopped. So many plot twists really kept me madly flipping pages. However, there's a wicked cliffy at the end of this installment so be prepared ;P I'm finding this quite the entertaining and engaging series and I can't wait for the next book to come out :D

My jaw is swinging like an unhinged door. The ending to this book has stolen all my good sense and mental ability, because the cliff it ends on has left me howling. The story is filled with revelations and unexpected twists. I loved everything about Quinn and her wolves in this book – other than the fact that it’s over already. I’m not foolish enough to try and predict what the next book is going to bring, but I’m desperate to get my hands on it now.
I received a complimentary advance copy of this book from the author.

Exciting times! A lot of activity happens in this book. Action abounds while relationships progress. The story continued to engage me, although I have trouble aligning the way the antagonist acts versus how he is described. He is described as someone who has lack of control issues while acting very much as a mastermind. The cliffhanger ending makes me anxious about what happens next.

This book is the second in this series and it does not disappoint. So many secrets come out and some serious plot twists have you begging for more. The cliffhanger will leave you begging for the next book.

This is book 2 in the series and continues where book 1 left us hanging. Be warned, his book also ends on a cliffhanger.

The reason I like this series is because the main characters don't have everything worked out, they don't have all the answers (yet), they all come from complicated backgrounds and Quinn is leading the group, even when all the guys are potential alphas, they aren't trying to take over all the time or push her - she is the one in charge.

So we have Jakob still insistent on claiming Quinn, his presence is definitely felt by all the group as they try and work out how to stop him. We also find out more about the Red Ash Pack, but its still unclear who can and can't be trusted.

This book concentrates mostly on Kristoffer and Sailors relationship with Quinn, the other guys are still around but not as much the main focus of Quinns attention. The beginning is a bit nail biting, but it does force Sailor to make a few decisions. Kristoffer becomes an interesting part of the group, bringing his own unique baggage into the mix.

I'm still a little confused on how the heart stone works for other shifters (not Cupids), the stone seems to lead Quinn to her mates, and she has the powers to use the stone for mate bonds but its not really explained how it helps others without the powers and therefore why anyone would seek them out.

There is still lots more to happen in book 3, the Jakob threat needs to be dealt with and Quinn and her guys need the time to become the family they want without everything else getting in the way.

Action Packed

This is the second book in the Heart Stone mates series, and it’s pretty much full throttle from start to finish. I absolutely love the world building, and Quinn’s mates are all incredibly unique and well rounded characters.

It is incredibly well written, and obviously we’ll edited. The story keeps your blood pumping, and there is definitely plenty of angst. It’s tough to guess what’s next, and to try to puzzle out how the many issues will be resolved. That aspect can be great for readers that are tired of the “same old” story line.

I will say that Quinn’s second guessing and indecisiveness is a bit grating. I found myself really frustrated that she never seems to be able to make any real moves forward with her men, because she spends so much time being wishy washy. They’re sacrificing everything—and she’s still unwilling to put herself all in too. She needs to get with the program, because she’s being horribly unfair to them all. I get that they have a lot to work out, but they’re obviously willing to try to find a way to do so.

Overall still an amazing read, and I truly lol forward to seeing some character growth out of our heroine in the next book!

Another cliffhanger beware ! Make sure all the series is published before reading nothing worse if an author dies. Great story as Quinn finally marks one of her mates. I'm not sure why there's a delay if she loves them all and can break the bonds with her heart stone if she's wrong. I was a bit confused when she snatched the keys off Geo like she was double crossing him on the plan they made because Quinn talks so much to herself in her head. Then she says Geo was in on the plan to take the keys, like what is going on if he was in on the plan why not give her the keys beforehand and why not say that in her head the writing was confusing in this part. Lots of secrets, betrayals from allies and we on met up with Jakob twice in this story most of it he is running around in the background off page and where is all the other allies meant to come to the pack it's like they are on their own 8 people and what a out the actual Cupid pack where are all the wolves that are meant to defend the pack. Steamy scene was good with sailor, they both said they love each other so why didn't they mark each other it drags on a bit and still yet to read a hea. 4 stars I don't like cliffhangers to encourage reader to buy the next book it's just wrong.

Cupid's Rogues, the second story in the Heart Stone Mates series by Kelsey Gamble is a fabulous rejected mate romance that will keep you on the edge of your seat in this exciting continuation of this captivating series! If you thought the first one was a wild ride, you haven’t seen anything yet!

This story picks up right where the first left as with our fabulous heroine Quinn is back once again with all her mates and let’s just say the drama, action and suspense just keep coming for them all! Especially as tensions continue to run high as Jakob does anything possible to make Quinn his and become the next pack alpha. Can Quinn ever get over the issues with her mother, find a happy place with ALL her fated mates and seal their bonda even further or are they just biding their time until the end?

Seriously, with all the secret revelations and intense emotions, the endless twists and turns and of course nonstop action this book will keep you turning pages as fast as you possibly can while huddled on the edge of your seat in suspense—and is worth every second of this jaw dropping, heart clutching . Roller coaster of a ride!! And that ending?!? Buckle up because it’s a doozy!

"Having a billion mate bonds is one thing, even brothers I could like, maybe get behind, but falling for your enemy's brother? I'm pretty sure that trope only exists in that one part of the romance section in the library that Mom tells me I'm not allowed to read from until I'm sixty."

"Cupid's Rogues" is the second book in the "Heart Stone Mates" series and is a lot more action-packed compared to the first book. I loved the fast-paced storyline and the constant suspense present within this book. There is never a dull moment in the lives of Quinn and her mates, and the final chapter really left me reeling.

I can't say a lot about specific characters based on this second book, because the focus doesn't seem to be on character building. Still, some secrets are coming out in this second book, while other characters still guard their secrets more closely. I can't wait for those to be revealed in the next book(s)!

This second book is a great addition to the series and definitely my favorite so far. I highly recommend reading it; it's worth the cliffhanger.

Quinn's story continues and the drama is building while the questions pile up as well. Book two picks up where book one left off and things are intense! Quinn has acquired yet another mate (no bonds sealed yet), but Jakob is not taking "no" for an answer. Whatever it takes he intends to have Quinn one way or another. You can bet that he's also not going to let her other mates stand in his way either.
Cupid's Rogues continues Quinn's story. This book is pretty Quinn heavy, but once you start reading you're going to understand exactly why that is. A couple of guys will get the spotlight too, but it won't be much so try not to be disappointed in that particular fact.
There is a lot of drama, suspense, and you questioning what these characters are thinking. Trust me, you're going to be thinking - "what in the world are you doing?!" Just more graphic. LOL! But those are the elements of a really engaging story. This book will leave you wondering what happens next so brace yourself. I'm looking forward to what book three has in store.

This was a highly entertaining well written second book . We dive in right away and it's a non stop rollercoaster . The character development was really good. I really enjoyed seeing Quinns growth. She is a generally kind and thoughtful individual , who likes to help others, but she is also totally BA. She's a quick learner, fast on her feet and it was great seeing her growth as well as her relationship growth with the men in her life. They are up against a smart, devious opponent. Jakob and his pack are notorious , known as an awful pack and a frightful foe. I've really enjoyed reading Quinn’s story, its unique and creative and I love the way it is progressing . The authour does such a good job with character development and world building. This was a very engrossing read and I am looking forward to more!

Kelsey pops us right back into the action with Quinn and her prospective mates. Prospective, because while she has collected quite a few of them, the decision to pick one, pick some, or pick all, is hanging heavy over her head. I appreciated that rather than assume finding mates mean instant mating, Quinn focused on the value and worth of each man. Kristopher, Ian, Mason, and Sailor all have their own allegiances and circumstances to consider. William is completely unattached, and his sweet inability to consider himself worthwhile had me quietly rooting for him. While the beginning and middle were full of character development and revelations, the end quickly dumped us in the middle of pending battle, and as before left the story on a cliffhanger ensuring we will be back for the third book.

The second installment of the Heart Stone Mates picks up right where we left off in the first book. Through the continued journey we get a better sense of our mystery mate Kristoffer as well as get more information about all the guys. There are sweet ‘stolen’ moments between Quinn and some of her mates as well as an unexpected surprise and plot twist. Without giving away too much as this is a book that just needs to be devoured - we are left with some communication issues and an odd ‘prophecy’ like feeling coming in the next book. We end the book with our FMC running straight into possible danger, but that appears to be her thing. Unfortunately, we are left on another cliffhanger so we have no idea how things end up - although it’s definitely a nail biter!

Her pack continues to grow!

Quinn has no real direction at the moment. She's on the run from one of her fated mates who, let's just say, has no intention of cherishing her. She's found others, though, who are nothing like him. Eventually, for fear of her little sister, she decides to go back to her home pack and try to finish things once and for all, one way or another.

Meanwhile, as she and her wolf put it, she's collecting men like some women collect shoes. Her harem continues to grow on this adventure! She feels it's getting ridiculous and that surely she can't keep them all. Considering all that's going on, however, that isn't exactly the most pressing matter.

At the end of this book, things have really escalated. I'm jumping into the final book now!

Loved this action packed sequel ❤

Wow!!! Now *that's* a cliffhanger 😲....jaw officially still on the floor. Quinn is back and so are all her choices for mates. After all, as the heir of Cupid Pack why should she choose 😉❤? There's so much suspense and action in this gem. Bonds are forged tighter, and we learn more about our little group. We also get a few surprises along the way as well as increased danger. I for one am not counting out Quinn or the guys just yet. My adrenaline *and* emotions were on a rollercoaster for this wonderful read, and I can't wait to see what happens next.

I still really enjoy Quinn as a FMC - she is such a great protagonist in that she is imperfect but fights for what she thinks is right. I think I got a bit confused with all of the different side characters and different story lines and hypotheses about who the real villain of the story is, but I did really like the character development and ARC for Kristoffer. His motivations and goals make a lot more sense in the grand scheme of things. It has also been interesting watching the group dynamic evolve. I think I still have a lot of unanswered questions that I look forward to having answered in book 3!

In the first book Quinn found five fated mates in addition to the one that she rejected. With being made Alpha to his pack on the line the rejected one is coming for her and now there is no going back.
This book introduces some new and important characters that spins the story in a totally new direction. I was not in any way expecting this and now I am just waiting for the plot to play out, I can't even guess at how things are going to go with how things went towards the end.
I really like Quinn as a character and I am looking forward to the next book and hoping the author gives her the happy ending that she deserves

Quinn is scrambling. The mates have liked in, including the one she would never say yes to. Unfortunately Jakob won’t take no for answer. His sights set on becoming the next pack alpha, Jakob is determined to make Quinn his.

Fighting through the feeling her mother’s treatment and decisions of late have left in her, as well as working through the idea of five fated mates, Quinn has to get herself out of trouble and regroup.

With driving action and surprises galore, this series sequel is full of delights and bang your head moments. With the nail-biting cliffhanger of an ending, this book will leave you panting for the next.

Another marvelous addition to the Heart Stone Mates series. The story was a little difficult to get into at first but quickly picked up pace and I fell headfirst into this book. I really want Quinn to stop pushing herself away from her mate bonds because I love all of her men. There are twist and turns in this book every step of the way and multiple times I was shocked. I love the relationship between Quinn and Arielle and was very excited we got more interactions between them in this book. Like the first book this one leaves off on an epic cliffhanger and I'll be biting my nails waiting for the next in the series.

How many hits can this poor girl’s heart take

Quinn, a hair stylist and heir apparent to the Cupid pack, has gathered enough pain, and men, through the events of Cupids Pack to last her a lifetime. As the story progresses her balance is shaken, her love is mistaken, and how she goes on from here may show how her future is shapened. Cupid’s Rogues had me asking just how many hits can this poor girl’s heart take. Quinn and the men have a long road of being behind the eight ball ahead of them and the cliffhanger the author left at the end of this book doesn’t bode well for them in the next.

I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

Very happy the second book picks up where the previous one left off though the end of this one is gut wrenching. I also really hope that Quinn is able to commit more and stop second guessing so much. There was so much angst and anxiety in the story that had my heart pounding. I didn’t want to put it down and needed to know what would happen next. Also I really want to punch Jakob a lot. We shall see if Quinn and her mates are able to over come what they are dealing with and triumph since they are being put through the wringer. This is a great series that is keeping me on my toes. I need the next book to find out what’s going to happen next.

Quinn remains true to character - very likeable and a leader. The guys have been pretty good too and there is usually someone that is still annoying at tis point lol. Everyone is making moves and on the alert as they try to anticipate Jakob's next move. There are kidnappings, stalking, mind games, and a big reveal. This books shows the characters coming together as a unit and letting go of their hesitations, making decisions, and finally going back to where it all began.
This book ends in one of those drive you crazy kind of cliffhangers. Looking forward to even more action in the next book.

The continuation of the series was very much action packed, and I was surprised with a few of the twists and turns that the author added. While the first book introduced us to an interesting concept, the second book has me very much looking forward to the next.

The FMC continues to be one of my favorites within the series and I found the mates did become more distinctive in this book. I think I’m more enjoying the story and the romance is just alright for me.

I’m happy to see that more concepts were expanded on and the overall arch has become more cohesive. I’m looking forward to seeing the conclusion of the series.

Book one was straightforward - escape the alphahole who wanted to claim her, and find the rest of her mates.
Book two gets a bit more twisty, with a couple of subplots that will hopefully
lead into the final resolution by the end of the next book.
We learn more about Quinn's two newest mates, and a little more about the
heartstones.
I like these guys, I really do. I'm interested to see how it all turns out in the end and how the author will tie all the threads together, as I have no doubt they will - even if I'm not quite sure how they fit!

Fantastic addition to the series!! I will admit I'm still kinda confused about the whole heart stone deal hopefully that will get explained a little bit more. But I loved the action, intrigue, and of course the steamy romance definitely made for a helluva read. Even with the major cliffhanger at the end still looking forward to seeing what else is in store for this amazing series. As always my reviews are totally voluntarily and no monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are completely my own.
