My older brother’s best friend crashed my twenty-first birthday party.
Then he took me home with him.
Harrison Keene is the type of man women chase.
So they can yell at him.
He’s as arrogant as they come.
Sinfully handsome and annoying blunt, he was born with a diamond-encrusted silver spoon in his mouth.
Harrison is the heir to the Keene family fortune.
He also happens to be my older brother’s best friend.
Add the biggest jerk in Manhattan to that list because Harrison crashed my twenty-first birthday party.
He overheard me making plans to meet my friends at a bar on the Lower East Side, so he decided to show up without an invitation.
Unsurprisingly, within twenty minutes of his arrival, Harrison did something that got us tossed out of the bar.
I tried to walk away, but Harrison wouldn’t let me.
He insisted I go home with him.
I knew I shouldn’t, but I did it anyways.
When I woke up the next morning in his bed, everything between us had changed.
The Buck Boys Heroes series features New York City billionaires and the women they fall hopelessly in love with. Don’t let the name of this series fool you. These irresistible men are ready to buck things up in a very good way!
Deborah Bladon had never read a romance hero she didn't like. Her love for romance novels began when she was old enough to board the bus, library card in hand to check out the newest Harlequin paperbacks. She was a Canadian by heart, and by passport, but you could often spot her in New York City sipping a latte and looking for inspiration for her next story. Manhattan was definitely her second home.
She cherished her family and believed that each day was a gift for writing, for reading, and for loving.
Hmm… Unfortunately this book is not like the previous book that I’m so in love with so much. This book to be honest THE HEROINE loves the hero way too much than the hero🙄 Which is not what I like about because the previous book the hero is the one who pursue the heroine and really do anything to be with her. But this book right here, even the chemistry is low and the romance is just not too romantic either 🥲 I’m a little disappointed when I read this one because i thought it will be like the previous book, please read my review about the previous book so you can understand what I’m saying. But this book is so different and even boring actually🥲 Not too romantic like the previous one 😭😭 WHY🥲🥲🥲 Sorry author but its true though🥲🥲
Too much of pushing away for childish reason🙄
It’s a slow burn but for me the slow burn is boring and not romantic at all🥵
The previous book i give those books 5 stars and i was so in love with them🥺 But this book I can’t believe i have to give it a low star 😵💫😵💫 AUTHOR FIX IT LIKE BEFORE PLEASE 🥵
And I don’t like the heroine at all in this book🙄🙄 Too needy and too clingy like ewww🙄 The heroine is always the one who likes to dirty talk to the hero and always likes to touch him like wtf🥵 It’s like the heroine is more obsessed with the hero than the hero🙄🙄 So annoying woman🙄
FIX THIS AUTHOR CAUSE THE PREVIOUS BOOK IS FAR MORE BETTER THAN THIS ONE!!! THIS BOOK IS MORE ANNOYING 🙄🥵
‼️‼️‼️TRIGGERS: Sickness, almost r*pe and PTSD.
‼️‼️‼️NO CHEATING
‼️‼️‼️IT HAS SEPARATION FOR TWO WEEKS BUT BOTH ARE LOYAL AND NEVER GO OR TOUCH ANYONE ELSE.
‼️‼️‼️SAFE ROMANTIC HOT LOVE STORY.
‼️‼️‼️THE HERO IS POSSESSIVE ALPHA MALE. NOT TOO POSSESSIVE.
THE HERO IS A MANWHOR3.
Even when he first start to meet with the heroine, the heroine saw a text message from his fvck buddy. Which is annoying cause the previous book doesn’t have that and for this one to have that, it really kills all the fun in the book🥵
‼️‼️‼️LOVE IN FIRST SIGHT.
I love it when the hero chase the heroine when she goes somewhere when they meet for the first time. That’s romantic lol. The hero even heard the heroine in the phone calling someone and to meet up somewhere, he listen to it and go there as well later to pursue the heroine.
‼️‼️‼️THE HERO IS NOT TOO OBSESSED WITH THE HEROINE BUT THE HEROINE IS THE ONE WHO IS OBSESSED WITH HIM🤮
Annoying AF.
‼️‼️‼️THE HEROINE is a fantastic talented pianist. But sadly she’s also a bit of whor3 herself because she likes to sleep around for one night stands. Her personality is a bit annoying because she’s very clingy and very needy to the hero. She’s always the one who said the hot words first to the hero and not the hero.
‼️‼️‼️MANY PUSHING AWAY FROM THE HERO WHICH IS ANNOYING.
‼️‼️‼️NOT TOO MANY JEALOUS SCENES FROM THE HERO AND HEROINE.
‼️‼️‼️LOCATION: NEW YORK.
‼️‼️‼️VERY HOT SMUT SCENES. Even when they have s3x, the heroine is the one who always likes to pleasure the hero and so needy than the hero🤮🥵🥵
‼️‼️‼️THE HERO AGE IS 30 and the heroine is 21 years old.
‼️‼️‼️HAPPY ENDING.
Engaged.
I have quotes from the book but because its annoying and such a disappointment, I didn’t add it🙄🙄 Also because there’s many of pushing away from the couple, their romance is low….. The connection i feel from the couple is very low and not too romantic like the previous book🙄
👉🏽👉🏽👉🏽Thank you so much for reading my review❤️❤️ For you who loves my review and follow it, THANK YOU SO MUCH. I did not get paid or be told to do a review on a book. I’m here just to write review about a book so i can remember it. Its my honest opinion😚 I didn’t know at first people will find me and follow me and trust me to be honest, I was surprised myself to look at the notifications from people who reach out to me😆 So everything i write down here on a review is based on my personal opinion and based on my true writing. I DID NOT COPY SOMEONE’S REVIEW OR WRITING SKILL because at first when i was using this app for one year i didn’t know how to scroll down on a book and see the reviews from others😂😅🤣 I know, silly me but hey I finally learned my lesson 😛😛😛 Thats why when people assume i copy someone’s review i was like what? Because at first i didn’t know how to use this app properly and i didn’t know how to open someone’s review because for a year i never follow someone or add friends or someone😂😂😂🤣 (I’m laughing so hard) 🤪 AND I NEVER COPY SOMEONE’S REVIEW EVER. IF I WRITE SOMETHING WRONG OR DOESN’T MAKE SENSE PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND BE NICE OKAY. 👈🏽👈🏽👈🏽✋🏽✋🏽 IF YOU'RE BEING MEAN AND NEGATIVE ALREADY WITH A WARNING AND NOT BEING WISE TO ME, I WILL NOT ENTIRELY READ YOUR COMMENT AND REMOVE YOU EASILY AND FAST. I DO NOT TOLERATE NEGATIVE COMMENT SO KNOW YOUR PLACE, THANK YOU SO MUCH.
I’m writing my disclaimer again here cause many negative people still don't get it or still be stupid enough not to understand my POV when I already write it so many times before. So here I am writing it again to you beautifuls human being😁😁 WHEN YOU READ MY LONG OR SHORT REVIEW, YOU WOULD KNOW THAT WHAT I LIKE ABOUT A STORY AND CHARACTERS RIGHT... IF YOU DON'T KNOW THEN HERE IT IS: I LIKE A BOOK WITH VERY POSSESSIVE PROTECTIVE ALPHA MALE, NO CHEATING, AND PLEASE NO MANWHOR3, NO MANY PUSHING AWAY, NO DOORMAT HEROINES, NO MANY OW DRAMA, NO S3X SCENE WITH SOMEONE ELSE. AND SAFE ALL THE WAY AND A HAPPY ENDING. Something that I don't like it very much if the hero or heroine have a crazy fvcked up personality and likes. Example: killing someone and let the heroine watch it all and push the heroine to lick all the blood of his victim and made her have to eat the meat of humans. and fvcks many woman in front of the heroine while telling her he loves her. I DON'T LIKE THAT TYPE OF SH*T AT ALL. That's just who I am, that's what I like and I don't like on a book. Maybe you love that, but I don't. We humans are different, we think very differently from one another. You have your likes and I have mine, you have your opinions and I have mine of my own. You think it's stupid of me to love such a book or to not love a book or to hate it whatever lol, I think it's bad you think that way cause I respect people's opinions cause I know for a fact we have our differences. YOU AND ME ARE DIFFERENT FOR PETE'S SAKE. I even have my own friends or people I follow here that shows how much they don't like the book I like, I never even give them a long comment or short Comment. Cause I respect their opinions. I don't like to give people I hard time here cause life itself is already hard enough. I do respect your opinion if you say my review is bad or whatever negative things about it, but in the end of the day I will not changed my mind about what book I dislike and how my thoughts about it. You can't tell me what to do. You can give me advice but it's me who decided to know what's right for me, this is my life and not yours. Read that again. Don’t assume things about me that is not even real, just don’t. cause when you do you’re more small minded for sure. You're thinking why I'm telling you all of this when you already know? Is because you still hating on my opinions and don't understand my POV and don't respect my POV. You think i like writing this disclaimer when obviously you're an adult already? no i personally think this is unnecessary... but because there are people out there who still don't get it *rolling my eyes*. Hopefully they or the people who read this disclaimer can use a beautiful thing called a brain:) AND WHEN YOU READ MY REVIEW, READ IT VERY CLEARLY TO SEE IF I FINISHED THE BOOK OR NOT. KNOW THE DIFFERENCE. AND YES ENGLISH IS NOT MY FIRST LANGUAGE. BUT IF YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I'M WRITING, THEN IT MEANS YOU UNDERSTAND IT ENOUGH. I DO NOT TOLERATE BULLYING, NEGATIVE COMMENTS AND MEAN WORDS. PLEASE USE A WISE WORDS SO WE DON'T ATTACK EACH OTHER. SIMPLY, I DON’T LIKE TO HAVE AN ARGUMENT WITH STRANGERS LIKE YOU CAUSE I HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO😚 BUT IF YOU STILL WANT TO BE AMBER HEARD KARENS THAT DON'T UNDERSTAND MY DISCLAIMER AFTER I JUST WRITE IT DOWN, THEN GO ENJOY YOUR DAY AND GO AWAY. IT'S VERY EASY FOR A HUMAN COULD DO YA KNOW. IF YOU STILL HERE HATING ME OR ANNOYED WITH ME, THAT'S YOUR PROBLEM. NOT ME PROBLEM. HASHTAGS BURN😂😂 DON'T TAKE THINGS TOO PERSONALLY ON ONLINE CAUSE WE ALL A STRANGERS, WE NEVER EVER MEET. WE'RE ADULTS HERE SO LETS BE WISER. LAST, I BLOCK NEGATIVE PEOPLE! SO GET WELL SOON TO THE HATERS. HOPEFULLY YOUR HEART AND MIND WILL BE MORE POSITIVE 🙏🙏🙏 AND THIS DISCLAIMER MAY SEEMS LIKE TOO HARSH ON YOU BUT HEY I DON'T LIKE TO SUGAR COATED THINGS. I LIKE TO SAY TO THE POINT WITH MY UNDERSTANDING AND MY OWN THOUGHTS, CAUSE THAT'S HOW HUMANS ARE. WE ARE DIFFERENT REMEMBER👍 HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE!!
The fourth book in the The Buck Boys Heroes series, Trust by Deborah Bladon is a brother's best friend forbidden romance. Harrison is the last man standing in his Buck Boys group. A billionaire with a love for his friends and family, he has his reasons for not wanting to get attached and knows that he's destined to be alone until he dies. That doesn't stop him from no strings relationships with beautiful women. When a beautiful woman catches his eye he can't help but stalk her in hopes of getting her into his bed. But what happens when he finds out his mystery woman is actually his best friends sister? Ava has been studying in London for the past few years. She is now on break back in the states visiting her family. When she bumps into her teen crush who also happens to be the her brother's best friend, all her feelings from the past come rushing back. She refuses to come between her brother and his best friend but when he proposes a no strings affair until her departure, she can't help but give in to temptation. The more time Harrison and Ava spend together, the deeper their feelings for one another become. With Harrison thinking he can't offer Ava more, will walking away from her do more harm than good? Trust was a great story and I loved the strong bond these characters had with their families. The attraction between the main characters was intense. Another great addition to The Buck Boys Heroes series, I enjoyed Harrison and Ava's story.
Harrison and Ava a match made in heaven. I love how Harrison first meets Ava and immediately starts falling for her. It’s also super cute that from the very beginning they have nicknames for each other London and Harry. it’s also perfect that Harry doesn’t realize she’s Ava and he actually knows her.
Harrison going through such a significant and traumatic experience is really powerful and amazing because you don’t understand. From the moment you meet him you know something going on because of Sean always asking how he’s feeling or how he’s doing, but the significance of that you do not understand at all until the story unfolds.
I love how Henry finally confesses, and the moment he chooses to do that Ava has already found out. Deborah has a unique way of writing her stories in such a way that you can’t help identifying with, and bonding with her characters.
She has become one of my favorite authors. Every single one of her books I have connected and enjoyed getting to know her characters. I will say this particular series has been much more intense for me, because of the immense amount of things that the characters are wrestling with or dealing with.
I got to admit I’m a little disappointed in this one. I really love this series but this was probably my least favorite. Harrison made for a horrible first impression and Ava seemed a bit immature that she would have given him the time of day to begin with. Harrison is her older brothers best friend. Ava has been away for a few years in London but had come to visit her brothers on her semester break. Harrison goes to the same bar he knows she will be at. Ava is celebrating her 21st birthday and she’s every bit of 21. Harrison gets in a fight with the bartender over a woman he stole from him and what’s worse is he doesn’t even remember this woman and tells the bartender he should forget about her because she wasn’t that memorable. He basically screams player and instead of this being a red flag she was still swooning like a teenager over him. It just left a bad taste in my mouth and even though you see a more meaningful side of him throughout the story it was just hard for me to connect to a hero like this.
Harrison meets Ava in a elevator not realising he knows her already. They haven't seen each other for 7 years and she was a child then. He hears her saying where she is going that night and decides to crash not realising its her birthday. He gets them thrown out and shes furious but goes home with him.
While she passes out drunk in his bed (nothing happened) her brother Sean (last book) pops by and tells Harrison his sister is home and it all falls into place and he vows then and there never to sleep with her
Its 60% before anything happens really. Honestly Ava is a little annoying. She overreacts to everything. There's a bit where Harrison is trying to look at his phone but doesn't have his glasses so he has to hold the phone away from him to see it and she thinks he is taking pictures of her and she freaks. She didn't need to freak. Even after her explanation she didn't need to freak
You know throughout the book that he has some medical issues but we don't find out what till 80% which was annoying and i don't know anything about his condition so i can not comment on if it was done well or not but it seemed to be.
So they have the 3rd act break up and it was all just a little disappointing. He doesn't grovel enough and she forgives him too fast and the brother finds out and its all just a little too easy. I was glad the brother was not a dick but he didn't even give a 'hurt my sister and ill end you' or anything.
The sex scenes were not that great either. The first time they are together it is like it started half way through and the rest of them were not done great which is a shame because i don't remember the other books been like that. The epilogue was nice though!
Could Have Been Something But He's Still Not Choosing Her At 90% Of The Book And MS Or Not, As A Disabled Person, That Should Have Been Dealt With.
He spends this entire book infantalising her.
Way to end at the Gentrified Rich person resolution of "Hey, he has a habit of rejecting her to her face over and over, choosing her brother so shes the auto-shame over and over but he didn't do it this one time."
Even confessing about how HE broke HER heart is all about him.
Thats a life of her pain not mattering and he's set her up for his pain mattering more.
Nice Patriarchial Parable where the man only has one of multiple steps and she must go through the ringer of being infantalised and dehumanised and womanised over and over. She's the supporting character with him and his bros until HIS feelings change.
A pity we don't get to see him learn to build trust.
This was the 4th in the buck boys series about Harrison Keene. Ava at 21 is all grown up and arrives in NY from London on a break from school. Harrison soon finds out the attractive woman in the elevator is his best friends little sister. Totally off limits, but soon Ava and harry keep running into each other and can't help the attraction they share. But Harry has a secret, and knows his time with Ava must end.... Good family relationships, steam and romance
When I first read this book, I had not previously read the others in this series. I must say first that Deborah Bladon’s skillful writing is one of my favorite authors and when I began reading I had no idea of the complications her characters were headed for or how they would be solved. I enjoyed the characters of Anna and her family’s strong relationships within the family dynamics. Having a strong bond and support system Anna was adventurous yet strongly grounded in her values and self worth. Loved the book.

Harrison and Ava bump into each other in an elevator, she recognizes him right away, but he didn’t realize he was looking at his best friend Sean’s little sister. He was checking her out and wanted to hook up with her, she always had a crush on him. The night of her birthday, he went to a club he knew she would be and left together. Harry still didn’t know who she was until later. He found he was still attracted to her and couldn’t stay away. But she didn’t know his secrets. Well sorry that’s all I will share for now happy reading.
While I naturally loved the story of Ava and Harry falling in lust and then love, I appreciate that you made his character the one with the medical condition. Being someone who has a very rare neurological disorder that woke from its genetic dormancy at the age of twenty after an accident during a rehearsal for a dance performance I know how difficult it was to have a lasting relationship and my ex didn't deal well so my marriage didn't last. It's nice to imagine a much better outcome by reading your book!
I absolutely love the Buck boys and their stories. Harry and Ava are awesome. They both carry their own secrets that no one else knows about as well as keeping the secret of them being together even if its for a short time. I enjoyed the dynamics of both of their families even though I wanted to wring their necks a time or two. They all were there for the other and had each others backs. I was so excited for Ava and Harry to have their hea. This was such a great story and thoroughly enjoyed it.
I chose this rating because this was actually a pretty good book. I really enjoyed pretty much all of the characters. This was a book of protection, compassion, awareness, convection, believing in your self and falling in love. I really enjoyed. I really enjoyed Harrison and Ava story. I think the author did a pretty great job with putting these characters together. Even though they had to overcome some obstacles. Pretty great read! I recommend this book to all romance readers.
If you haven't read a Deborah Bladon book it's a must! What can I say about Trust it was heartwarming, touching, beautiful emotional love story. Harrison and Ava are amazing together, their love of family and closeness with their siblings is beautiful. Harry and London the best nicknames, but through all the emotions and being stubborn they made it a solid relationship and it shows they we meant to be together! A must read for all you rock Deborah Bladon ❤️
Really easy to read and great characters but sometimes it felt like I’d skipped a few chapters and things were added in near the end and were never spoken about before hand which left me confused. I loved Ava thought and Harry was a great mmc. Also liked that an illness was included in this. Just wish it’d been spoken about more instead of slipped in close to the end.
Harry and Ava are so good together, of course she is his best friends sister. Even with the chemistry between them harry tries to fight their attraction.when things get really serious it seems Harry can't commit and walks away. Love has to win out because even Sean (Ava's brother) thinks this is a great match. These Buck boys always fight against their true love but of course they loose that battle. I love this book.
THIS WAS A VERY AWESOME lOVE STORY, WITH A LOT OF OPEN INTAMACY INVOLVED I knew Harrison had a problem but never put in MS, Very much pure love there. Ava was a gal with love in her heart and she is so in Love. Would it not be nice if everyone could experience Love like that... Deborah you have done it again. This book is a Blossom to a life we all should have. I so recommend this book cuz, Deborah knows how to write her best always... TU
Another 5 star read from this author. She never ever lets me down. I absolutely love that her characters connect to previous books. These Buck boys have definitely been some of my favorites. The emotional story that she told while always writing some of the best intimate scenes is the perfect blend. I'm already ready for her next book.
I have loved EVERY one of Deborah Bladon's books!!
I highly recommend this book!! The story grabs you right from the beginning and its so hard for me to put my kindle down to sleep!! You cannot ever go wrong reading a book by Deborah!!
This was a good one. Read it super quickly in one afternoon but I love Deborah’s writing. These two were adorable and I loved getting to see the other boys and their families.
Ava is coming home to visit. But she didn’t intend to fall in love with her long time crush. Harrison her brother’s best friend. Read more about this story
Deborah Bladon’s ability to weave a story linking her well loved characters while diving deep into new ones is unrivaled. I love this couple so much. Angst, suspense, hot sexy times, it’s got it all.
Liked the characters as well as the plot, but Harry was so dramatic about his illness, how he reacted to events, how he reacted to Ava, and how he handled his life. Calm down and be real.
What a beautiful story. Harrison and Ava were not supposed to fall in love but of course they did. Even though Ava is Harrison’s best friends little sister and supposed to be off limits. Their love was too strong to be kept apart.
Love, love, love Harry and London. Definitely did not expect the twist, but WOW....definitely needed the tissues. Another success. As always.... Enjoy!!!!
