Pack Saint Clair: The Complete Series

Rate this book
She's safe as long as she's hidden.

Lydia Anderson is an unbonded omega who left her life behind to escape a family more interested in their status than protecting their daughter from an alpha who won't take no for an answer. It took everything, but Lydia managed to break free, running as far as she could. Now she lives with her head down, avoiding attention.

Her past is still on the hunt. And she can't get caught again.

Pack Saint Clair is everything Lydia has been taught to want. They're rich, influential, and beautiful. A chance encounter sets her on a collision course with the three alphas and their beta, and instincts long ignored flare to life, setting fire to all of their carefully laid defenses. But Lydia knows that if something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Pack Saint Clair has a secret, one that could destroy everything they've worked to create. And that skeleton in their closet has set its sights on Lydia.

When the past comes to call, can the pack keep their omega safe?

The Pack Saint Clair Complete Edition features all three books in Lydia's story (Lilacs and Leather, Lavender and Lightning, and Laurels and Liquor) as well as a never-before-released extended epilogue. This book does contain descriptions of subjects that might be triggering to some readers, so please refer to the content guide at the beginning of the book. This is a poly/why choose story, and will feature MMMFF materials, and a HEA.

Thora Woods knocked it out of the park with Pack Saint Clair. This Reverse Harem Omegaverse series has everything you come to expect from an omegaverse, scenting, heat knotting, ruts, mates bonds, and more. The multiple perspective series has fantastic characters that I couldn't help but care about and best of all it has an excellent plot.

An abused omega in hiding and a pack with past relationship trauma manages to find each other and give love another shot. There is angst, family drama, a incredibly wild amount of danger, stalking, and more. While it is exciting and very entertaining there are heartbreaking and tender moments as Lydia (the omega) and the pack come together to find there happiness. This story is messy, loving and is loaded with fantastic plot twists.

Without a doubt the Pack Saint Clair is one of my favorite omegaverse series. Best of all Thora has combine the entire series into a box set that has great bonus material so I can catch up on all things Pack Saint Clair.

everything just felt meh...

1. I didn’t enjoy the sex scenes—they felt forced and abrupt, often coming out of nowhere. I found myself skipping through most of them. It also didn’t make sense how quickly Lydia started trusting these men after repeatedly telling us she couldn’t trust alphas.

2. This wasn’t a true reverse harem. It’s more of a poly romance, which wasn’t what I was looking for. The story is 90% focused on Lydia and Rhett, while the rest of the pack is barely involved. They only show up occasionally and feel like background characters.

3. The book was very repetitive, especially when it came to her abusive ex and her toxic family. We get it—the ex is a terrible person who doesn’t deserve to exist, and her family is full of idiots. No need to hammer it in over and over again.

4. Lydia lacks a real backbone. Sure, she stands up for herself in a few moments, but she quickly slips back into the frightened, submissive omega role. It felt inconsistent and frustrating.

Pack Saint Clair, books 1-3, by Thora Woods & @thora_woods_author is a fantastic author. Read the trigger warnings! This is a reread for me & I've updated my review to avoid spoilers. 💜

Book 1 - Lilacs & Leather - this was a great start to this trilogy about Lydia, Rhett, Alexandra, Mateo & Lucas! That cliffhanger! So glad this is the omnibus! Lots of background to build this world

Book 2 - Lavender & Lightning - This book picks up after the ending of Book 1. 💜 This was a great 2nd installment of this trilogy about Lydia, Lucas, Mateo, Alexandra & Rhett. That cliffhanger! 😱

Book 3 - Laurels & Liquor - what a stunning conclusion to Lydia, Rhett, Mateo, Lucas & Alexandra!

Holy smokes! This was a fabulous series! Just wow! Tropes: Omegaverse, Poly romance, RH, MM, FF, along with all manor of combinations of MMMFF, so much angst & most of it outside the harem, & this is the very definition of a found family.

Lilacs and Leather (Pack Saint Clair #1)

The opening sufficiently sucked me into the world and had me liking and rooting for the female lead … when it eased into a sweet, old-fashioned first-date with courting vibes, I nearly swooned.

I don’t read a ton of omegaverse, though I may have to change that—this was pretty fun. Tropes, etc. to love (or steer clear of, if you find any of them triggering):

💜 Super sweet, over-the-top, protective, caring, open-minded alpha.
💙 An omega who has escaped (and is still traumatized from) abuse.
💜 Toxic, backwards, overbearing family. Cult-like vibes here.
💙 Contemporary setting, but with omegaverse hierarchy.
💜 Knotting.
💙 A bit of mild darkness (in the FMC’s flashbacks).
💜 Praise, aftercare, light BDSM.
💙 Witty banter, which could be hilarious at times.
💜 Healthy polyamory.
💙Found family.
💜Endless drama.
💙Suspense.

Overall:
Fun read, ended on a cliffhanger. Will read on in the series and would read more from this author.

4 stars.

One thing I didn’t love was the way things are sometimes repeated—for example one scene plays out in one lead’s POV, and then I had to hear it again in the other’s. Some readers may appreciate hearing/reading things twice with varying POVs, personally I get extremely bored in the redundancy, and would rather the story keep moving forward.

I’ve nothing against steamy scenes at all, but these ones would go on and on and on … and on …. And then on some more. I did feel bored before they were over, I found, for all of them. (I suspect many readers enjoy this though! No hate!)

Audio:
These narrators sounded good—for the most part. Some of the male parts had poor sound quality, as if he was under water or something … it was especially noticeable after switching over from what were mostly flawless female parts. (Though a little bit her her parts had this going in, it was a bit more subdued than his.) 3-star production. This was surprising as the 🦩PFP books I’ve heard have typically been flawless until this.

Lavender and Lightning (Pack Saint Clair #2)

This picks up right where book 1 left off, but you could start here, as it quickly launches into a recap, so you’d know everything you need to in order to enjoy this one in the first chapter. Though, I enjoyed the slow-burn of getting to know the world and the characters that book 1 provided, so I do recommend reading them in order.

I’ll attempt to list specific tropes, etc. that I know people to both, seek out, and also avoid due to triggers, etc.

⚡ Omegaverse (with your typical hierarchy).
💜 Reverse harem.
⚡ History of domestic abuse which is sometimes described in detail.
💜 Stalking.
⚡ Protective alpha & betas.
💜 M/M.
⚡ F/F.
💜 Group scenes.
⚡ Light beeeedeeessssemmm (censored, sorry), complete w/ toys and aftercare.
💜 Toxic parents I loved to hate.
⚡ Found family.
💜 A fun, lovable bodyguard.
⚡ Knots.
💜 Suspense, action, danger, arson.

The world-building is epic—every time I read a book in this series, or pick one back up, I’m instantly transported into this world. It’s contemporary, but with the omegaverse hierarchy—impressive, as it felt very plausible and well done.

Overall:
4 stars.
⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

And uh … where’s this author from? Talking about a hurricane, “... it’s been wild but not bad enough for Waffle House to close or anything.” ← Amazing.

I cannot wait for book 3—I mean, just look at that tagline: “She knew how to run and hide. Now she must learn how to stand and fight.”

Audio:
Seriously impressive! Overall sound quality is perfection, as usual when PFP is involved. I can clearly see that 2 narrators are credited, but I’d have believed this were a full cast, if not for that. These 2 narrators did amazingly well with different voices and accents throughout. Phenomenal. 🦩🦩🦩🦩🦩

Laurels and Liquor (Pack Saint Clair #3)

Once upon a time, I decided to check out this author because I loved a cover … I am so glad!

After books 1 & 2 in this series, this was obviously an absolute must-read! This installment has lots of drama still to finish unfolding and then of course, resolve so it’s intense and non-stop and the world-building, all the while, is absolutely stellar.

I expect this book has something for everyone, as it hits so many tropes and k!nks:

🍾 Crime.
🌿 Extortion.
🍾 A / B / O dynamic, but with humans!
🌿 Lots of steam, multiple partners, group scenes.
🍾 Light beedee-essemm (Cens0red 🙄.)
🌿 Praise.
🍾 F/F.
🌿 M/M.
🍾 Strong family bonds and found family.
🌿 Vengeance.
🍾 0mega heat.
🌿 Multiple alphas.
🍾 Scandal.
🌿 Abü$e.
🍾 F!ght scenes, lots of action.
🌿 Lots of witty banter.
🍾 Plotting, scheming.
🌿Daddy / DDLG.
🍾Male d0m / female d0mme.
🌿Rope play.
🍾Violence

*There’s no way I listed everything with so much going on!

Not a fan of the DDLG aspect, but the way this book packs in SO MANY k!nks and tropes, there’s bound to be something for everyone … and few are likely to like every single one, right? It wasn’t depicted a ton and didn’t really have a chance to take away from my reader experience.

There was a solid plot for sure, but there was also ***a lot*** of steam. There were several chapters of pure steam—though, with an omega-heat, this is realistic.

The action scenes were fun—is there anything this author can’t do? 100% would read more from this author, based on this series.

Also:
Excellent character evolution, particularly for the FMC! This took some skill.

Overall: 4 stars.

PACK SAINT CLAIR
4.5/5 ⭐
4.0/5 🌶️
4.0/5 🎧

Obsessed with this series. It was fantastic from beginning to end and really hit the mark with suspense, spice and the sweetest pack.

The audio was really great, I'm loving Matt Haynes and Maeve York. Both have brought these characters to life wonderfully and Pink Flamingo's production has been amazing as always.

LILAC AND LEATHER
4/5 ⭐
2/5 🌶️

I'm really loving this omegaverse story. The pack dynamics are really interesting with a Prima Alpha FMC, two Alpha MMCs, a Beta MMC and an Omega FMC. I'm also really interested in Lydia's dark backstory, her ex is really something else.

I wasn't so sure about Lex for probably 90% of book one, but in the last 10% or so I've really started loving her. I can't wait to watch her and Lydia's relationship develop as the story goes on.

LAVENDER AND LIGHTNING
4/5 ⭐
4/5 🌶️

I am really loving this series. It's spicy and sweet with a heavy dose of dark and heartbreaking. The pack goes through a lot in this installment both within and outside of the pack... And it ends on a devastating cliffhanger.

I am coming to love every last member of this pack, but today's appreciation post goes to Lucas. That loving beta is just the sweetest and I love what he brings to the pack, especially Lydia. Betas are the glue that holds a pack together and Lucas is no different.

LAURELS AND LIQUOR
5/5 ⭐
4/5 🌶️

Ughhh that was so so good. I couldn't have asked for a better final installment to this series. It was so exciting and spicy and sweet and just all the things. I loved the storyline of this whole series and loved how it ended. So much revenge and love and happiness and it was wrapped up perfectly.

Alexandra Saint Clair has me in an absolute chokehold. I was so unsure of her going in, but the more I got to know her, the more I absolutely fell in love. She's dominant in all the best ways, but when her omega and beta need that touch of softness she has a way of giving it to them while still being an absolute bad a m f alpha.

I am really hoping there's more to this world because I really want Jason and Gabby and whoever Delano, Hunter and Gideon smelled like, especially if they're one in the same. Either way, I'll be picking up more Thora Woods for sure.

Title: Pack Saint Clair: The Complete Series
Author: Thora Woods
Format: Audio
Narrators: Maeve York, Matt Haynes
Genre: Romance, Why Choose, RH, Small Town, Suspense, Omegaverse
Standalone: yes
Part of a Series: This is the complete series

Book 1: Lilacs and Leather
MMFM
POV: Lydia, Rhett, Mateo
Steam Level: Steamy
5/5

I’m so glad I’m listen to this in the box set. That cliffhanger is a doozy. I’ve only recently discovered Thora Woods and I now want to devour everything she’s written. Lilacs and Leather is sweet, sexy, suspenseful and funny. All of which kept me listening way past my bedtime.

Lydia is running from her past and is hiding from everyone in her family. Only one if her brothers knows where she’s at and only because he helped her escape. But the past is always lurking. As Lydia’s relationship with Pack Saint Clair grows, secrets about all parties are revealed but rather than tearing them apart they only grow closer.

I’m so excited to see what happens next in this gripping series.

Book 2: Lavender and Lightning
MMFFM
POV: Lydia, Rhett, Mateo, Lucas, Alexandra
Steam Level: Steamy to quite toasty
5/5

Once again I’m thankful to be reading this in the box set. This book starts right where the first one ends. And oh my was this a crazy ride. Secrets are revealed and even more mystery comes to light. The cliffhanger is crazy and i cannot wait to see what will happen next.

3/5

Book 3: Laurels and Liquor
MMFFM
POV: Lydia, Alexandra, Lucas, Mateo, Rhett
Steam Level: Hot
5/5

What an amazing ending to this series! This books starts right where the previous one ends and kept me enthralled. The tension built throughout and as one thing was solved another came at them. I stayed up way too late and listened whenever I could. I simultaneously wanted to know what would happen next but also didn’t want this story to end.

I received this audiobook for free from Pink Flamingo Productions. This is my honest and voluntary review.

I picked this up without fully realizing that it's 3 books in one. I'm going to review it as a whole, for my own sake.

Pack Saint Clair is the story of Lydia, an omega raised in a fundamentalist religious sect. She was expected to be a good girl, marry the son of the pastor, and keep her mouth shut about the abuse she has suffered at the hands of both her family and her former partner. Instead, she ran, putting miles of distance between herself and her abusers, and creating a pleasant, if slightly boring, life for herself.
Everything changes when she has a chance encounter with a scent-match Alpha, Rhett. As she gets involved with Rhett and his pack, her past begins to rear its ugly head, and secrets that the Pack has kept buried begin to rise to the surface. This pack is everything she could possibly want or need - if the five of them can manage to come out on the other side.

CWs: Sexual content, toxic relationship, sexual assault, cursing, physical abuse, emotional abuse, financial abuse, blackmail, homophobia/lesbophobia/biphobia, gaslighting, alcohol, gun violence, violence, death

I wasn't prepared for an omnibus, but I don't regret picking up Pack Saint Clair at all. Woods does an excellent job of setting up both the characters and the plot to maintain interest over the course of the 3 books. There are even side characters that I hope will get their own books over time (Delano, Hunter & Gideon? Jason and Gabbyyyyyyyy) because they were fleshed out enough here for me to actually feel a connection. The chemistry between the pack and the rest of the cast was delightful, the plot engaging without being too cliche or contrived, and the spice was absolutely scrumptious. My only real complaint is that I did feel like there was a bit of drag in the middle, probably because I read all 3 books over the course of like a day and a half.

All three books in one? Yes please!! This book was everything I’ve ever wanted in a book, and Thora put it together wonderfully. This is an omegaverse on the sweet side with kink and the potential of FF (get your head out of your bum Lex !)

Book 1 starts out with Lydia who is an omega hiding from her past and has given up on alphas. She stumbles upon the alpha of a well known pack and wonders if maybe they can change her outlook on life. Of course just when things are getting good, her past and theirs collide and mess it all up. I loved that Lydia was strong and spoke up about her feelings even though she is an omega. I was excited for the FF action, there isn’t enough in RH books in my opinion.

By the beginning of Book 2 I’d fallen in love with this series. Lydia has grown so much since the beginning and it’s wonderful to see her stand up for herself. Book 2 was full of twists and turns which kept me so engaged. Just when you thought things were settling down, something else would happen and Lydia took it all in stride. I loved that we got to see more between Lex and Lydia in this book. The spice between them was HOTT, and I’m really hoping there is more in the next part. I’m pretty sure I didn’t breath the those last few chapters though. I really hope the St. Claire pack can come up with a solution to the problem quickly, so we can get back to group goodness.

Book 3 was such a good ending to a great series. I loved all of the Lydia and Lex content. The group scenes were top notch. I loved how they came to the conclusion, but seriously Alex needs to learn to lean on people! I can’t wait to see what’s next from Thora!

I will not review the whole content of this book, because I already did it with the single volumes of this series. So, if you want to know my verdict for each installment:

- Lilacs and Leather
- Lavender and Lightning
- Laurels and Liquor

So, there is that. Overall, the series stays 4 stars from me. I only came here to read the extended epilogue, which is new.

This is actually three books thrown together, with over 1300 pages to read. It centers on a omega hiding from her family and ex-boyfriend, both have been abusive. She come to the attention of an alpha while working a wedding. She than becomes involved with his pack which is a well known pack with a female alpha as their prime, the Saint Clair pack which includes Rhett, Lucas, and Mateo with Alexander Saint Clair. They quickly decide that adding Lydia would make their pack complete. But they have a few issues that include a male omega who forced a bond with Mateo and Alexander (Lex). The male Omega, Seth starts working with Lydia's to get her out of the picture, and then there is her parents who are trying to take control of a sizeable inheritance Lydia was given from her Grandmother. The book had many twist and turns until the very end with Seth and Darren, (the ex), ending up dead and a pack that needed to force Lydia into her heat so they could renew their bonds. The book could have been shorter, there was a lot of repeating of the storyline, but the characters were all good, world building was good,I am excited to see what else this author writes.

holy spiciness

Ok first off this is a MMMFF Polyamory situationship. The spice is spicy. Theres plenty of it. But plenty of plot too.
I loved this story! It’s been a min since I’ve read a series that’s over 1000 pages.
Check triggers though folks. While I have none. I know some may have issue with D V and ab-use on page. I feel it was written well despite being dark matters and situations. I loved Lydia and the St Clair pack. There is OMD but no affairs. No ab-use amongst the pack but there’s misunderstandings and adjustments having to be learned etc.
overall if you love a spicy omegaverse where everybody loves everybody (Jackie moon reference) don’t mind triggering situations. I believe this will be right up your alley.

But on a side note…
I need to know are there books about:

Delano and Gideon?

Is there a Book about Caleb and Sylvia?

Jace and Gabby?

Sammy and Ally in the aftermath?

I know often authors intertwine characters from other authors stories. Wasn’t sure if that was the case here. I wish there was a blurb at the end that mentioned something. Be it a possibility of a future book or if these characters already had a story written.

YOoo what the fuck. Anyways, I was enjoying the book until the antagonists of the book came up. Book 1 was a 3.5. I like Lydia's development, and I was looking forward to her and Lex's relationship developing. But you knowwww that would have been the last relationship to develop. Book 2 was a 2.75. I was rocking with the book until the last 30%. I thought Seth would be handled in the first book, and dragging those plotlines in the 3 books is low-key crazy. I could understand why Lydia's family and Darren were there in two books, but that last book??? Sex scenes were popping. One thing about it. Everyone with a hole was getting drilled. Book 3 was crazyyy. I was like Lex please queen??? They want Lex to feel so bad for her choices but maybe the men should have brought up better ideas. Anyways telling Lex she is not like her father and my queen proves she is doing it out of love was gagging me so bad. I want to rate Book 3 so LOW because that last part was crazy. The guns, the drugs, the fraud.....I really came for the fucking and relationship development. Anyways tea.

When I first started the first book, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Each book broke me a little bit more than the last. Thankfully Thora Woods is amazing at building you back up so you can easily forgive those cliffhangers. Thankfully with this new omnibus you don't have to wait to read the next book after each cliffhanger.

I really enjoyed Lydia's development with each of the members in the pack grew and developed into something more. I felt like that was a pretty even mix of smut/spicy and plot. One didn't overtake the other and it was very balanced.

This series includes:
-MF / MM / FF
-MMMFF
-BDSM with rope play
-Daddy kink
-Bratty male sub
-Female Domme Alpha
-Male Dom Alpha

Please be aware of the TWs:
-Mother trauma
-Religious trauma
-Homophobic comments
-Verbal and Physical abuse
-Gun and knife violence

Thank you to Thora Woods for the ARC copy.

The trilogy as a whole was kinda drug out - it probably could have been wrapped up in 2 books. But overall, the story was good. I wish we had gotten Lex + Mateo earlier in the story, I loved those two together 😭

I would have loved to have more of Lucas & Lex’s POV in the first two books — majority of the POV’s are Lydia, Rhett & Mateo.

The Pack Sinclair Omnibus…Books 1-3 in one massive book with all the extras including an extended epilogue. Yes please!

Lydia is an Omega running from her past and really has had it with Alphas. She wants to escape and start a new life. Of course along comes a new pack with their own history and Alpha Lex that in time she starts to think may change her mind. Just as things start to get interesting of course everything is thrown for a loop. This of course happens in each of the 3 books and you are left with cliffhangers. Of course this is all 3 in 1 soooo you can just keep going.

This series was well written with wonderful character development. It was a delight to read. As always please be aware of TWs when reading. I definitely recommend if you enjoy paranormal books.

Couldn’t put this story down.

Lydia is fleeing from an abusive family and boyfriend. She finds a new family with her boss and coworker at a flower shop. One day, while delivering flowers to an event, she catches a whiff of an alpha scent that sends her emotions soaring. Rhett, the alpha, picks up on Lydia’s scent and sets out to track her down. Through Rhett, Lydia meets the rest of the Saint Clair pack. There, she learns about polyamorous relationships and discovers that it’s possible to love more than one person. Of course, this book wouldn’t be interesting without a past love interest refusing to give up. In this case, an ex from both sides threatens their happy ending.

Pack Saint Clair by Thora Woods is an omegaverse romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Matt Haynes and Maeve York.

This is the first series of Thora's that I have read, and it definitely won't be my last. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Lydia, Rhett, Mateo, Lucas, and Alexandra. Their relationship was messy, but you couldn't help but root for them. I really enjoyed getting all of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Matt and Maeve did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this series if you like omegaverse romances, why choose romances, MMMFF romances or contemporary romances.

I absolutely adore this series as a whole and gave each individual book 5 stars. I had to take one away for the extended epilogue 🫣

I know each RH/why choose author has different preferences but for some reason, Lucas being called Uncle by Morgan instead of some iteration of a father figure bothers me. One of the main internal struggles he had was the lack of self worth and being told he’s not enough. I feel like his role being diminished, even though he’s just as an important part of the pack and her literal husband, doesn’t fit. It actually made me sad.

I still absolutely love this series. I just think I have to pretend that last bit exists a little bit differently.

This audiobook, narrated by Matt Haynes and Maeve York, is the story of Lydia Anderson, an omega on the run, finding refuge and unexpected love with the formidable Pack Saint Clair, which was both thrilling and emotionally charged. The dynamics within the pack and Lydia's cautious embrace of a new life kept me on edge. The series blended suspense, romance, and a deep exploration of personal trauma and healing. The characters were richly developed, making their journey feel intensely personal. It's a gripping tale of love, danger, and the quest for safety in a world that often feels too good to be true.

This series has a special place in my heart and is definitely a series that I will re-read over and over.
The multiple perspective series helps to understand the different dynamics and to get a better depth of the multiple characters that we get attached to as you read more. Awesome character development, plot and touching scenes with the FMC. This series is in my top omegaverse reads and I hope to read more from Thora Woods in the future.

All the books in this series were amazing. This is one of those books that I could not put down and I read it on my Kindle it was so good that I had to own the physical copy and am I so glad that I got a physical copy because it's beautiful and I love the pictures and everything about it. I don't want to give anything away about this story but it is definitely my all-time Omegaverse favorite book and I am so glad I stumbled across it on boktok lol

A Beautiful series

Beautiful written, A series I will re-read over and over. I hope their will be more characters from Pack Saint Clair that will come to light in their own series. Such as Alex and Gabby, and Lex three cousin with their mystery omega. I can't wait for the entire series to come out on Audible.

Omegaverse at its finest. This omnibus is action packed and steamy from beginning to end. The story starts off super steamy and there are so many twists and turns it definitely keeps you on your toes. The main characters are likable and relatable. The villains make you want to yeet them off the highest mountain. If you are into steam, action, and love, this is the set for you

Awesome!

The revelations are harrowing and raw, but revealed in such a compounding way. Intense violence and intense love! All the characters evolved and not all in a good way either, the villains are the worst. The Pack wasn't as strong in the beginning, but developed into true friendships and great loves. Polyamory at its best!

I really enjoyed getting to know Pack st Claire. The flow of the plot and character development and even the building of the relationships felt so natural. It wasn’t just this instant love roses and rainbows but rather each person having character growth and even healing from trauma. The spice was definitely spicy. Mat was probably my favorite. Or lukey 🥹

This audiobook was beautifully written. This book explores the polyamory of pack Saint Clair. Lydia ran from trauma and abuse and hid from her family. She finds love and acceptance with her new pack. There are many twists and turns. I loved the characters and storyline. Matt Haynes and Maeve York brought their tremendous talents to bring these characters to life.
