I loved this series of three books.

Alessandro Anetti surrendered to the Janusians to save Karim and the enemy supersoldiers who will die soon. President Davis had a program built into their conversion to ensure that they will die when their usefulness to her passes.

Alessandro learns the only way to cure them is for them to become normal again. Davis tries to brainwash Alessandro like she did with Karim. She admits that the Janusians have also developed a reversal which can take away superhuman abilities. She needs a test subject.

Victoria Anetti is determined to rescue her father.

Nika and Barron discover a new planet. Nika names it Nira. Everyone wants the new planet and a war ensures.

I recommend this book. It is well worth reading but do read the first two books first - Robber Barrons and Salvage.

Satisfying Conclusion to a thrilling trilogy

In the grand scheme of things it’s hard to remember how much individual choices matter. This was a beautifully crafted piece about great powers at war and politics. More importantly though it’s a beautiful story about the humans affected on individual levels.
Wrap that up with a beautiful picture of found families and it’s a hard book to put down.

"Inheritance" is the third novel and final entry in the "Robber Barrons" trilogy. Written by Nanci Schwartz it is a trilogy of military science-fiction regarding a possible future of mankind where two different governments emerge, warring for the limited resources in the neighboring systems.

The first book in the trilogy (simply titled "Robber Barrons") introduces us to Victoria Anetti, the daughter of a long lost war hero, leader of a group of supersoldiers with enhanced features like superstrength, augmented senses and more. By the third book, a full war is about to emerge and all the Anetti family plus their closest allies (and enemies!?) will have to work together to stop it and preventing the leaders of the respective governments to cause more damage.

The series is well written, I was able to follow all the action and all the different parties with ease, never having to go back to reread or get confused about who was working with who. I love the dialogs and all the detail presented. The series can go to full scale planetary matters to intimate moments between the protagonists with ease. And while the conflict of the protagonist always takes centerplace, it never overwhelms the rest of the story or conflicts with it.

I highly recommend the entire series!

Inheritance A Military Sci-Fi Series (Robber Barrons Book 3) by Nanci Schwartz

I pre-ordered this, but found Salvage difficult enough that I didn't progress on to this. Giving it the benefit of the doubt with the three stars in that if the earlier two worked for you, this one likely would also.

An amazing debut trilogy from Nanci Schwartz! Fast paced action, fantastic world buiding and interesting, relatable characters all made these books an easy read. I hope we get to see more of Victoria, Mattthew and the Robber Baron in the future, but I'm also looking forward to whatever new world that Ms. Scwartz is bringing to life. Highly recommended to fans of space-opera sci-fi!

An excellent conclusion to a highly enjoyable trilogy. None of the characters has an easy road in this book, but I came away satisfied with how everything resolved (though I certainly wouldn't say no to more in this series!).

Excellent Space Opera

Story moves fairly well across the three books. Not perfect with the proofreading and occasionally drags but overall I enjoyed the series and will be looking for more of her writings.
