This is book # 5 in the Drew series, and as engrossing as the previous books in the series. While this book can be read stand-alone, this series is best read in sequence. If you like gang-crime, this is an excellent series.

Scarlet Drew had to painfully part with John, with whom she had fallen in love, after she was setup by her cousin Ruby. Ruby is out of sight, but lurking in the shadows close by. Both Scarlet and Ruby are burning with rage, hoping to get back at the other. After some revelations regarding their family, there is a distance between Lily Drew and her sons Cillian and Connor. It also appears that Ray who was earlier a benefactor of the family, is now becoming a rival. DC Jenny Ascough is tailing Scarlet, hoping to gather evidence against her and throw her in jail. This is also personal for her as she loved John, and thinks he has been killed by the Drew family. These problems aside, there may be a traitor in their gang, waiting for an opportunity to steal from them.

This is a series I love. The story & writing is very good, the characters well developed and it is well paced. While I was not too happy at how the track with Ruby evolved, I also recognize there were not too many choices.

The way it ends, another book in the series will come and I eagerly await it!

My rating: 4.5 / 5.

Her Fight by Emma Tallon is book 5 in the ‘Drew family series’. Following from the previous instalment Scarlett out for revenge after what Ruby did to John. But first, Scarlett must find her. Ruby on the other hand, is planning her revenge and getting rid of Scarlett and taking the top spot away from Scarlett and she will do anything to get it.
But that’s not all. DC Jenny Ascough, wants to know what happened to John. He was a good copper and she had feelings for him, and she would go above and beyond to find out what happened to him. Even breaking the law to find out where he is. Did Scarlett kill him? Where is his body?
Her fight is another tension filled episode of the Drew family That you can’t put down. Although they are a gangland family, I felt sorry for Scarlett everyone seems to be gunning for her throughout the book. The author is a great storyteller and good and keeping you hooked though out the book with lots of surprises along the way. I love reading her books she never disappoints. Another excellent episode in the series and can’t wait for the next book. 5 stars from me.

Drew Family #5

Scarlet Drew is hellbent on getting revenge on her cousin Ruby after she exposed Scarlet's illicit affair with a Met Detective. Scarlet fears she will never see her boyfriend again now he's hiding, and she wants to make Ruby pay. With all her focus on Ruby, Scarlet fails to notice an old enemy rearing its ugly head. Trapped in an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of London with her Aunt Lily, she realises too late the danger they're in, and that someone had been feeding their most dangerous rival for information - someone from inside the family.

I'm a huge fan of Emma Tallon, she never disappoints. Everyone seems to be trying to find the opportunity to get their revenge on Scarlet. And Scarlet wants her revenge on her cousin Ruby. The Drew family are back, but is there a traitor amongst them? DC Jenny Ascough is hoping to gather enough evidence so that she can throw Scarlet in jail. With all this and more going on, i could not turn the pages quickly enough. I was drawn in from the first page. This fast-paced read is filled with strong, well-developed characters. I love this gangland series. This book could be read as a standalone, but you're best to read them in the order they were written in. You won't be disappointed.

I would like to thank #NetGalley #Bookouture and the author #EmmaTallon for my ARC of #HerFight in exchange for an honest review.

Admittedly, I came late to this series, but believe me, I am well invested now! I have loved this latest one just as much as the previous book.
The Drew family are complex, and it takes a little adjustment to remember everyone, but it soon came flooding back!
The drama is relentless, and you come to love the characters for so many different reasons. Gangland crime books are gritty, and shocking at times. This continues the series with all of that in spades.
Emma Tallon is a fantastic author, and I have no idea why her books aren't raved about more! The series has some of the highest ratings I've seen from a crime series on Goodreads, and they deserve every star.

Emma Tallon is back for Book 5 in the ‘Drew Family Series’and this time long time scores WILL be settled and characters who have just about survived due to family loyalty will be targeted…of course,as always and I think I always put it,it was great to be back with the ‘Drews’,I feel I know them well and almost expect an invite to the strictly ‘family only’ Sunday dinners that Lil and Cath hold, the books are addictive as is the family and you are drawn in yet again in this story to their lives and deeds, good and bad, and feel you are part of it
The authors writing is superb, I wasn’t quite sure how this one would end, very much a ‘will it,wont it’ be type of ending, needless to say it was very well done
All I can say is roll on Book 6,this series is part of my reading life now and I genuinely love every book

Scarlet Drew has spent years trying to deal with her difficult cousin Ruby. However, Ruby has truly crossed the line with her latest drama. In fact, things have reached the point of no return for Scarlet. Ruby will pay. Of that Scarlet has no doubt. In any game of tug of war there is only one winner and this latest installment in this stellar series will indeed reveal who that winner will be.

Ruby thinks that she has more cards to play, and she has her own plans. However, as she is responsible for revealing Scarlet‘s relationship with her detective boyfriend, which caused that relationship to come to a sad ending, she knows that she must get the upper hand once and for all.

Meanwhile, the crime family has other drama that is in fact creating a dangerous situation for all of them. Scarlet’s aunt Lily is dealing with the fact that her adult sons are not speaking with her based on a long held secret that they have learned. As if all of this was not enough, there might be somebody on the inside that could break this family apart once and for all. So, from all angles, this crime family appears to be breaking apart. Can Lily and Scarlet get past their personal situations and team together to strengthen their family enough to wage the wars facing them?

This book is aptly titled because it just might be a fight to the finish on more than one level. This Drew Family series is fabulous. I love how Emma Tallon has made this family real. One way is their Sunday dinners, much like the Regan family on the Blue Bloods television series. Although the values and principles may differ in these two families, the bonds that tie them together are indelible.

While this book could work as a standalone, the dynamic that exists in this family is one that strongly develops over the course of the entire series. So my recommendation is that the series be read in order. I am so eager for the next book in the series. In fact, the moment these books become available, I have to stop everything and read them from cover to cover which is exactly what I did with Her Fight. It came to no surprise that this book was as addictive and compelling as every book in the series has been thus far.

Many thanks to Bookouture and to NetGalley for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. Her Fight is the fifth book in Emma Tallon’s Drew Family series and my first read for the author. Once again, I picked up a book which falls in the latter part of a series and, of course, the blurb influenced my decision. Now while Her Fight can work as a stand-alone, one would achieve a greater benefit by reading the series in sequence. I enjoyed my visit to the world Tallon created and look forward to visiting again.

I had a great time with Her Fight. Despite coming late into the series, I had no trouble following the story as Tallon provided sufficient background information. This made it easy to slip into the world she created and appreciate the characters. From the first page, I knew it would be a thrilling read, and it did not disappoint.

The Drew family is not your typical family. Headed by matriarch Lily Drew, they have ties to the criminal underworld. Feared by other crime syndicates, they were a force to be reckoned with. Gritty, dark, shocking, addictive and suspenseful Her Fight takes the reader on an unforgettable journey. The drama and nail biting suspense will have you flipping the pages. Rivalry within the family circle, treachery and revenge drove the story.

As you may guess, the characters featured here are not ones you would want in your inner circle. However, one cannot help but admire their strength, tenacity, and loyalty to each other. Lily Drew will do any lengths to protect her children and woe be to anyone who dares get in her way. Despite the many challenges faced ranging from personal to business, she displays fortitude. Her family members were an interesting lot. They added depth to the story with their varying personalities, ambitions, and desires.

As stated earlier, it can be read as a stand-alone. However, the plot develops throughout the course of the series. Therefore, reading the series in order would prove more beneficial. After my experience with Her Fight, I am eager to go back t to the beginning to see how it all started. Also, the ending hinted at bigger things brewing in the wings.

Overall, Her Fight delivered an entertaining read, which fans of stories with a focus on the criminal underworld would enjoy. This review was originally posted on Totally Addicted to Reading

This is the fifth book I have read by this author. It is also the fifth book in the 'Drew Family' series but can be read as a standalone. I have also read 'Her Revenge' (book 1),'Her Rival' (book 2), 'Her Betrayal' (book 3) and 'Her Payback' (book 4) and absolutely loved each one and would highly recommend this addictive series.

I was originally drawn to this book by its eye catching and colouful cover and its intriguing synopsis. The synopsis stated "If you love reading Martina Cole and Kimberley Chambers you won’t be able to put down this thrilling gangland crime thriller from bestselling author Emma Tallon." I am a huge fan of Martina's books so am interested to see if it will live up to this statement. I am also a huge fan of Emma and if this is half as good as 'Her Revenge', 'Her Rival', 'Her Betrayal' and 'Her Payback' it will be an amazing read. I must admit I was also biased due to the publisher being Bookouture. I have yet to read a book published by Bookouture that I haven't enjoyed. Hopefully this won't be the first... Watch this space! (Written before I started reading the book).

This novel consists of a prologue, 58 chapters and an epilogue. The chapters are short to medium to long in length so possible to read 'just one more chapter' before bed...OK, I know yeah right, but still just in case!

This book is based in London, England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿, UK 🇬🇧. The bonus for me of books that are partly or fully based in the UK is that I live in the UK and have sometimes visited places mentioned in the book which makes it easier to picture.

This book is written in third person perspective with the main protagonists being Scarlet Drew, Lily Drew, Ruby Drew, Cillian Drew and DC Jenny Ascough. The benefits of third person perspective are that it let's you see the bigger picture of what's going on and you get to know more characters more, what they are thinking and what they are doing. It feels like you get to see the whole picture and not miss out in anything.

OMG EMMA!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME!!! YET AGAIN, WHAT AN ABSOLUTELY EXPLOSIVE BOOK AND BOMBSHELL CLIFFHANGER ENDING!!! I HOPE YOU'VE WRITTEN YOUR NEXT BOOK BECAUSE I CANNOT WAIT!!!

This book is extremely well written with vivid descriptions and the perfect atmosphere for the STORYLINE. The descriptions really emerge the reader into the storyline making your heart race and the hair on your arms raise. The synopsis and cover work perfectly with the book cover.

The book is gripping and addictive from the very first page until the last. I was absolutely hooked throughout with the suspense and tension filled plot. I enjoyed delving back into the underworld and getting to know more about the Drew family worked within the family, the underworld and all the other gangs. The storyline was intricately woven with so many sub plots that kept me completely engaged throughout. The way Emma has written it really helps your imagination picture everything going on. It is filled with laughter, love, crime, loss, shocks, twists and one hell of an explosive ending!!! What an absolute cliffhanger to end on with not just one shocker but many massive bombshells/cliffhangers!!! I was absolutely on the edge of my seat, biting my nails with a pounding heart throughout this absolutely gripping and addictive book!!! I have absolutely loved each and every book in this series but I must say this has definitely got to be the best. It is the most heart racing and nail biting and OMG the emotions I was going through!! I screamed, shouted, cried, my nails are bitten down so there's nothing left and I have been on the edge of my seat constantly. The ending just completely left me mind blown and I am ABSOLUTELY dreading and yet excited for and unable to wait for the next book which I just know is going to be another absolute explosive bombshell! I must say that I was happy with what happened to someone but at the same time as much as I hated them it feels a bit strange knowing that they are no longer there. Do I think they deserved it? Yes as it really was karma and one or the other. Teasing you much? What are you waiting for grab your copy today. I'm also intrigued by what another person is up to and how it's all going to play out. I just ABSOLUTELY LOVE this family and this series and I cannot wait to get stuck in to the next book!! Chop, chop Emma I'm waiting!!!

DO NOT EVEN LOOK AT THE FIRST PAGE OF THIS BOOK UNLESS YOU HAVE CLEARED YIUR SCHEDULES AS IT WILL SUCK YOU IN!!! IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GANGLAND CRIME SERIES YOU CAN SINK YOUR TEETH INTO THIS IS 100% THE BEST SERIES TO START!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!

Although this is the fifth book in the series I had would have had absolutely no problems reading it without the others. Any details or events that have previously happened are mentioned in just the right amount of detail to let a new reader know what has happened and yet not too much to bore a previous reader.

I absolutely loved meeting the Drew family again as well as the other characters.. I never thought I would ever get THAT into a gangland crime book but OMG Emma you have completely proven me wrong. The Drew's have become like family and friends to me except for a certain one who I 10000% blame for this and I don't think I've ever actually hated a fictional character as much as I do this one!!!! More to come in a moment. I have also learned Emma's previous books were based on the Tyler family who we also met in this series so I am looking forward to going back to read that series as well as any further books in the Drew family serious. Scarlet is definitely a force to be reckoned with as is Lily and who doesn't love a strong kick @ss female in the crime world!! I was absolutely fascinated by all the businesses that she managed to keep afloat. I also enjoyed reading about what Connor and Cillian got up to and having twins myself it's quite interesting to see how these twins worked. I loved both of their huge and hilarious yet serious when needed personalities and they slightly remind me of the Weasley twins from Harry Potter with their cheeky sides. The tension in this storyline is absolutely threw the roof and with so many sides closing in on the Drews and with a snake in the grass will they be able to survive this blow? It has been absolutely heart breaking watching this once close family being torn apart and seeing different sides to them with less humour than normal. I have had several mixed feelings about Ruby since the start of this series, I don't think I've ever had as many mixed feelings about any other character EVER!!! However I can 10000% say she is now my absolutely most hated fictional character ever and if you could hear the names I was calling her it would have absolutely shocked you!! I wasn't sure what to make of Isla but I won't say anything about her as I don't want to give too much away but I will say that I was extremely pleased by something that happened with her. I was absolutely sickened by the way Calvin treated her and even more disgusted when I discovered what he had done in the past too. However, if you want to know more you'll just have to pick up your copy today. Every single character was strong and had their own unique personalities and each definitely left an impression on me. Regardless of whether I LOVED them or hated them they all came together to make this book and also this series exactly what it is and it is perfect the way it is!!!

I am looking forward to reading more of Emma's books and it would be intriguing to see them turned into movies. Emma, congratulations on yet another explosive hit and here's to your next success 🍻!!! This is EXACTLY why you are one of my favourite authors, this is one of my favourite series and the Drew's are definitely my favourite fictional family EVER!!!

Overall a must read, non stop, emotionally and action packed, explosive page turning, gripping and addictive adventure from the underworld that is one not to be missed!!!

Genres covered in this novel include Thriller, Heist Crime, Crime Thriller, Organised Crime, Mystery, Vigilante Justice, Psychological Fiction, Gangland Crime, Noir Fiction and Crime Thriller amongst others.

I would recommend this book to the fans of the above as well as fans Martina Cole, Kimberley Chambers and anyone who enjoys reading an unputdownable and explosive page turner about crime from the dark side..

This was my second book by the author and it won’t be my last either.

I enjoyed it a lot and the ending left me wanting so much more from her characters and world.
It’s suspenseful and the growth happens so smoothly, it’s a very character driven plot and I’m loving it so far.
I usually go for a more mystery/thriller investigation type of story and this one surprised me in the best way.

It’s a gangster family drama and while the main characters try to showcase one another, there are other dangerous characters between the family members.

There are so many secrets between them all and Scarlet and Lily were just amazing. The mens in the family are so interesting as well, they will fight for their family no matter what happens.

I must admit that this gave me a lot of Peaky Blinders feels and I read some of these interactions in a mancunian voice and that made it so much more interesting.

There’s dangerous situations and some drama between the police and on the run and hide scenes plus the discovery of the mole.

Addictive and thrilling, this is a must read story.

Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy through NetGalley and my place in the blog tour.

I can’t believe we’re on book 5 already in this brilliant series.
This is just as good as the previous books and definitely left me wanting more.
Emma Tallon is my favourite gangland crime writer and I just love the Drew family.
After the shock in the last book Scarlet and Lily are both dealing with their own situations but pulling together as a family when it matters.
Connor and Cillian are also dealing with stuff but their anger towards their mum takes a while to thaw.
In this book there’s plenty of treachery and it’s a bit closer to home than Lily would like, but as always, it gets dealt with.
Scarlet is on the hunt for Ruby and will stop at nothing to make her suffer for what she did to her.
This is a brilliant book with crime and family at its heart.
If you’ve not read this series then pick up book 1 and get stuck in as it’s absolutely brilliant.
Thanks to Bookouture and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book.

This is book #5 in the Drew Family Series. Whilst it is part of a series, it can easily be read as a standalone book, although I would recommend reading the books in series order. We take another visit to the Drew family, where the story picks up from the previous book. Scarlett Drew is out for revenge with her cousin Ruby following Ruby’s actions. The matriarch of the family, Lily Drew has problems of her own after the bombshell dropped on her sons concerning their father. The family also have problems with other firms who are trying to muscle in on their businesses. There’s a lot going on, but all the different storylines effortlessly switch between each other alongside the usual family tensions and business complications from this gangland family!

No matter how violent or gory these books are, you can’t help but like the Drew family! Lily Drew has to be my favourite, she’s such a great character! You really want to be at one of her family Sunday dinners, but you also know not to get on the wrong side of her for fear of what might happen! This book gives Lily more than a few headaches after problems with Ray, her boys, Ruby, and her various businesses. Scarlett is still having to deal with the aftermath of her boyfriend, John’s disappearance, and all the way through the book we are kept in suspense wondering what she will do to Ruby when she finds her!

The whole storyline is so tense, it’s verging on the border of everything blowing up in the Drew family’s faces! Yes, it’s violent – there are shootings, beatings and plenty of acts of violence, but it’s a gangland book, I wouldn’t expect anything any less! It is though gritty, gripping, and realistic with storylines that fit into each other perfectly! The tension runs high throughout, and I found myself not wanting to turn the page in some parts for fear of what I might find! The writing is exciting, and you find yourself caught up in all the action, just like you were actually there. There are lots of shocking moments, and a few have left me thinking what the hell is going to happen in the next book! Roll on book #6! Would recommend!

Scarlet's love affair with a cop is over and he has been secretly moved abroad for his own safety. She is intent on revenge on the woman who betrayed them: her own cousin Ruby...
Her Fight is the 5th book in the Drew gangland crime series. The personal relationships have developed over the course of the previous books and play a key role in this plot, however I think it would be easy to catch up.
We are thrown straight into the action as Scarlet is questioned by police about the murder that her lover covered up. The police officers involved have a vendetta against her for both personal and professional reasons. However, my sympathy was automatically with her due to the justification of the murder. They live by a different code to others but have strict rules so her involvement in the murder is acceptable.
The writing is very engaging and the characters are well written. I felt that the animosity betwen the characters has been building over the prevous books but now the family relationships are crucial to the survival of certain characters. There is violence as you would expect from the genre but it fits with the plot and characters.
The wonderful Lily Drew (who I feel is the real star of the books) has trouble with all of her children but wants to keep the family bonds sacred. Her mixed emotions about the Scarlet and Ruby situation alongside the truth about her children's father threaten the security and respect she has previously enjoyed.
Her Fight is a great addition to the series and I love the emotional side to the dark characters.

There are good series. Those authors manage to keep their books on the 5 star level. On the other hand there are excellent series where the authors keep pushing their stories to a higher level each and every time.

This series is such an excellent series. I could read a book by this author every day. I would never grow tired of them. No way. They suck me in and they keep me there throughout the whole book. They keep feeding me new twists and turns and they never cease to surprise me.

I love the Drew family even though they are gangsters. Yes, I even love Ruby, because she manages to create war within the war. I admire Scarlet. The young innocent girl who had a whole other future in mind stepping in and delivering.

If there is one baddie I like too, it must be Chain. Rough, tough but with a soft spot and a good heart. On the outside a big bad wolf, but on the inside a big teddy bear... at least for some.

I have called this author my queen of gangland before, but that title does not do her justice anymore. From now on she is my empress of gangland.

I cannot wait to see what is going to happen next. This is top level gangland crime  for me. 5 stars

Thank you

She's Back!!! The queen of gangland crime is back - Emma Tallon she must be one of the best writers out there

This latest book was Brilliant! Her Fight is the fifth book in the brilliant Drew family series and it starts with a bang!

This carries on from her last book and Scarlet Drew is trying to find her difficult cousin Ruby. This is book 5 and picks up from the previous book.

Scarlett Drew is trying to find her cousin Ruby. Ruby has betrayed Scarlett in the worse wand cannot be forgiven. Bit Scarlett need to be careful and not upset her aunt / cousins!

I think it’s amazing that Emma Tallon can write book 5 in a series and it still be as gripping/fantastic as book 1 was. Her books never disappoint !!

This series is a spinoff from the Anna Davis series, which you should read first but not necessary to know what is going on. You do want to read this series in order to understand the characters.
As always I enjoyed this book and the ending... perfect.
Scarlet Drew is hellbent on getting revenge on her cousin Ruby after she exposed Scarlet’s illicit affair with a Met detective. Scarlett's Aunt Lily knows that Scarlet will kill Ruby if she is found. Even though Ruby is her daughter she does understand why but would like to find Ruby first.
Scarlet's other enemy is a cop, who was partners with Scarlet's lover. Who also was in love with him.
The Drew's are also dealing with a secret that came out n the last book and how the boys are dealing with it.
Thank you to Bookouture and NetGalley for another great read from this author.

Gritty Crime Thriller.
Scarlet Drew is sitting across from DI Jennings, she was no longer unnerved by this man, the threats would not make her talk, murder is not what she would ever admit to, they would not find her boyfriend John Richards, he saved her from prison, they knew the truth, now she had to fight to save both their skins.
Book Five of this hard hitting Drew family series that I just loved every single one.
Scarlet is on a mission to find her cousin Ruby, a toxic disease in their family she needs to pay for what she has done.
I loved it from start to finish and could not leave it unread, a cracking book once again and the end is just the beginning of another book that I eagerly await to read. 5 stars.

This is the fifth instalment in The Drew Family Series and I just can’t get enough. Emma Tallon is my replacement for Martina Cole. I love a good series where you really get to know the characters and they become so like real people to you. This is a book series that just keeps on giving. Every book is a new adventure. I couldn’t read it fast enough. I can’t get enough of all things underworld and ‘the life’. As for the characters I love The Drew Family and all the quirky characters they are involved with. I just hate now that I have to wait for the next one. Emma Tallon please don’t make the wait too long. LOVED IT 🥰…

Thanks to Netgalley and Bookouture for the opportunity to read #HerFight

The latest installment in the Drew family series see Scarlett Drew hellbent on revenge on her cousin Ruby for ruining Scarlett's future with the love of her life John.
Ruby is also out to ruin Scarlett's life and she doesn't care how far she goes to get rid of her cousin once and for all. There can only be one winner in the end in this brilliant written series.
Can't wait for the next installment.
If you haven't read any of the books in this series yet can still read this as a standalone you will definitely want to read the ones you've missed guaranteed.
Thanks to Netgalley and Bookouture for the ARC.

Number five in The Drew series and Emma has done it again, such a thrilling, gripping book. That will make the pages fly once you start, to see what happens next.

The story is based around criminal underworld boss and Matriarch Lily Drew and her family and it's got a punch that will make you gasp and the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. It has the usual amount of violence as you would expect from a book like this.

There are some great characters, with great power and strengths.
A really cracking read. You could read it as a stand-alone but you'd be missing out on a fantastic journey.

Emma Tallon has an amazing talent to be able to keep her readers gripped and entertained.

Like I’ve said before what an amazing series this is, I’ve read every single one of Emma Tallon’s books and they in my opinion just get better with each one. I always get excited when a new book is being released and stop whatever I’m reading at the time to lose myself back into the world of the Drew’s. I really feel like i know the characters and usually end up frustrated at the way each book ends but it just makes me look forward to that next book even more!
I don’t want to say much about the plot as don’t want to give anything away but it’s a good one as always! You must start at book one though to get the full experience of this brilliant series.

A welcome return to the dangerous underworld of the Drew family and as usual, Tallon fails to disappoint. Filled with unbelievable amounts of drama, you'll find yourself sucked in immediately.

I highly recommend reading the previous books in the series prior to delving into this one as having background knowledge will add so much more substance (and shock factor!) to the story. What a series!

Yet another addictive read, my favourite in the series so far. I sincerely hope there's another visit to the Drew family just around the corner.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for providing me with this ARC in exchange for an honest review 📖

Book 5 in the Drew family is every bit as good as the previous ones, if not better. Despite the fact that the family are gangsters, I have a degree of sympathy for Scarlet! The story and plotting is good and the characters are well developed in this fast paced read. The author keeps you engrossed right until the end, which leaves it open for another chapter. This is a brilliant gangland thriller which I would highly recommend to lovers of the genre. Thanks to Net Galley for my ARC.

This book was highly anticipated and was not a let down.

Emma Tallon creates strong female leads who have paved their way in the underground

Her fight continues from the end of the previous book where John disappears Scarlet is out for revenge.

Revenge, betrayal, jealousy, murder are themes within this book.

The Drew’s are.under scrutiny from other leaders and the police.

Read and see how they fare
