B.J. Frazier is an award-winning author of erotica from the U.S. Her professional résumé includes high school English teacher, advertising executive, business owner, certified Master Sexpert, Relationship Coach, Love Coach, and Sexologist. B.J. draws upon her diverse background to create believable and relatable characters and stories.

B.J. also writes from personal experience in Femdom, which adds realism to her stories.

A self-proclaimed feedback whore, B.J. loves to receive feedback from her readers. The comments she never tires of hearing are, "you're so readable" and "your characters are relatable." The stand-out comment is from a very vanilla reader, who said, "I don't mean to be insulting, but I think 'Mistress Managed' can be mainstream!"

When she's not writing or reading, B.J. loves playing games of all kinds (except mind games--though she's good at those, too); board, card, dice, and especially word games. She also loves jigsaw puzzles, but is very particular: The pieces must be thick and interlocking.

Her happy place is Vegas, but she is also happiest spending time with her puppies, daughters, friends… and anything involving chocolate.

Eli: The Seduction is the first book in the Eli series and is a collaboration between the authors B.J. Frazier and Jessie Spectre. The story follows an 18-year-old young man called Eli. The book starts with readers being introduced to the close friendship between Eli and his roommate, Rick. Rick, being the more experienced guy, keeps advising Eli not to get attached to Kassie. A girl he loves, but she doesn’t exchange the same feelings with him. She only uses him for academic support. Eli doesn’t listen to his friend until reality hits him hard.

Then Eli meets Bernie Higgins, a middle-aged gay man (probably in his late 30s or early 40s). Bernie is a businessman and offers a summer job to Eli, who accepts. A spark ignites between the two men. Their relationship evolves to a more personal level, which Eli did not expect at all.

I don’t want to reveal more about the story because it is better to explore it yourself. So, I will get right into what I really enjoyed about this first book in the series. This is a more coming-of-age story of the main character because we get to see how he will experience many things for the first time, especially those related to his sexual identity.

The authors did a great job with the characters, be it the main ones or even the secondary characters like Rick, Clem, etc. All the characters felt real to me, and hopefully, more growth will be seen in the next book.

Another aspect that this book shines with is the vivid contrasts the authors have created for the different themes in the story. For example, you can see one of the most prominent contrasts between Eli’s innocence and Bernie’s experience. This is one of the main aspects of the story, as Bernie acts like a mentor to the young man, guiding him and opening new doors for him to experience.

Another significant contrast is the age gap between the main characters, which brings with it a contrast between masculinity and femininity. The themes of chastity and lingerie illustrate how Eli’s understanding of his own sexuality will evolve with Bernie’s help. Of course, the chastity also highlights the nature of the dominant/submissive relationship that the couple is getting into. The book sets the foundation for the power dynamics between Eli and Bernie.

The steamy scenes are fantastic and skillfully written. They not only depict the physical sensations and attractions between the main characters but also illustrate the emotional intensity between them, making those scenes incredibly arousing!

I’m delighted that The Seduction turned out to be a great first book for me. Hopefully, the next books in the series will be just as strong, if not better. I’d like to thank the author, B. J. Frazier, for providing me with a free review copy of the book.

The Seduction, the first book of the Eli series by B.J. Frazier & Jessie Spectre, is one of those stories that kind of sneaks up on you. Almost as soon as we’re introduced to Eli Shaw, we just know he’s blissfully oblivious to the truth of his own sexuality. He’s pining for a girl who is clearly using him, paying far too much attention to his hunky, well-hung roommate, and never questioning any of it.

We know there’s a moment of hurt coming, a broken heart at the very least, a brutal public humiliation at the very worst, but we also see opportunity all around him. How will he recognize it? Where will it lead him? Who will it be with? Those are the questions this opening volume begins to explore, and the answers are fabulous.

There’s such a curious cast of characters and personalities here, with surprises to be found in each scene. You really get the sense that Frazier & Spectre have built a world around Eli, especially as we get hints as to the truth of his new job, his new romance, and his new friends. Bernie, the catalyst behind Eli’s world of opportunity, is a kindly sort of mentor who excites all sorts of feelings, but there are also glimpses of a darker edge beneath his personality that Eli is too naive to see. And then there’s Clem, Eli’s new landlady, whose stern exterior raises all sorts of questions, but whom I suspect may have some tenderness still to be revealed.

There are some explicit sexual moments in the story, a few of which are even a bit kinky, but they’re also full of tenderness and the thrill of discovery. We see Eli emerge and grow, begin his journey into something new, something more, and we have 4 more books ahead to see where it leads.

I like to think myself a connoisseur of erotica and I can’t explain how much I really enjoyed this book. I guess technically I can… so much so that I ended up buying all of them, lol. It’s a great series from a great author who really knows what she’s writing about firsthand. You can tell by her in depth use of Kinky and BDSM adult themed language that she has been in the circles and she knows about these people. Will definitely be looking into more of her books and hopefully another series.

I heard good things about this series and even though I am not into gay erotica I know B. J. Frazier to never disappoint in the story telling. This series is a collaboration with Jessie Spectre. I’ll say this that I find it extremely difficult to try to determine which author wrote which sections. The story is very smooth and their writing blends together well. Nothing jumps out at you saying this was written by two authors. The story is about a college aged young man I want to say he’s a freshman, but don’t quote me on that, who has not yet embraced his attraction to men. He meets Bernie an established local store owner who takes a fancy to Eli. The book and story are well written and the sex scenes are secondary to the actual storyline. But this is erotic fiction so they’re what I’ve come to expect from a B. J. Frazier story. As I mentioned earlier I’m not drawn to gay erotica m, but the story is so well written and engaging that it doesn’t really matter for me. If you want a good story with well written sex scenes then I’d recommend this series.

I guess, I read the beginning of something great. About a poor but lovely guy who had to experience the probably worst moments of his life so far. But like always, even bad moments provide the chance for something great. B.J. Frazier and Jessie Spectre created something very hot. I loved to read this book and I can highly recommend it.

Loved this entire series so much! Right from chapter one I felt connected to the characters. The entire series kept me so engaged, that I did not want to put the books down. I had the opportunity to meet B.J. Frazier at an event where she was promoting her books, and I'm so glad that I did! Her passion about her characters and her writing drew me in, and she gave me a brief synopsis of several of her series to help me pick which one to try first. She definitely made a new fan in me, and I've already picked up another series to dig into.

Eli is such a good book. The title character was incredibly relatable, shy, somewhat dorky young man coming into his own and figuring his life, and sexuality, out, I really felt a connection with him.

Having Bernie kind of swoop in and be a guiding hand really lends well to the story. An older, attractive person who seemingly has all the answers lined out riding in like a knight in shining armor is something I've always wanted.

I love the dynamic they share with each other, the over eager submissive and the tempered dominant who has to reign them in time to time. It was exciting to see their personalities interact and manifest sexually.

Add to that a great cast of supporting characters, one of which is a Domme whose authority is never in question, great writing, and some really hot descriptions of cocks, this book grabbed my attention all the way through to the end. And the end itself? Oh, it leaves me very excited for book 2.

BJ Frazier and Jessie Spectre crafted a wonderfully, sexually charged story and I can't wait to read more!

The Seduction of Eli is the opening chapter of a story about two men. One is Eli a naïve and innocent young college man who has yet to discover who he is as a person and the mature Bernie who is an intelligent and sophisticate man especially in world of male domination and submission.
B.J. Frazier and Jessie Spectre introduces us to Eli a young man who is unsuccessfully trying to conform to the expectations of his conservative parents and the expectations of his horny roommate whose main goal in life is to be laid by as many females as he can. Eli lives in a straight vanilla world which he does not fit in.
Early on we see Eli is a people pleaser and submissive. He tolerates a high level of humiliation from dominant women and doesn’t walk away from it.
Through circumstances he meets Bernie who become his mentor and guide to explore a new world of sexuality as well as domination and submission. Has he also found love?
Bernie too, is at a crossroads, mourning a lost love and rediscovering that he may be falling in love again.
Clem is Bernie’s friend, who like him, moves in the world of those who are Dominants and those who are submissive. She is demanding but caring. You don’t want to compete with her, instead you want to follow her. She understands both Bernie and Eli’s needs.
We meet other characters that flesh out the story and gives us insight to both Eli and Bernie and their budding relationship.
The Seduction gives us the main characters and circumstances that open the door to a new and exciting world for Eli. He is seduced by many things and that is what you discover reading the first installment of Eli. As the title suggest the story will seduce you to read more about Eli’s adventure as well as the many other well written books by BJ Frazier and Jesse Spectre.

I read this title so I could keep up with and participate in author B.J. Frazier's monthly online book club. Being straight (well, 94%) I'm not sure I would have chosen this one of her many titles on my own but having read it I am glad I did and I'm now eagerly looking forward to getting to the other books in this series.

This one has B.J.s usual mix of a good story with interesting characters and scenes along the way, and this also has an intriguing and so far enigmatic character I want to know more about plus a nice twist of kink near the end that definitely made my already perked ears go up a little more higher. I wish I didn't have some other pressing deadlines to get through first as I'd like to read the next chapter today but I will get to it soon!

Eli is a naive small town boy with an innocence about him that makes him instantly someone you want to protect. He latches on to somewhere who is there for him when he needs it but there are dark undercurrents and hints that Eli may be getting in over his head. It's a story that sets up a calm before the storm that draws you in. There is a mystery behind everything that propels the reader into exploring the series more. Solid start.

This Queen of Erotica has again done it! Sets the bar impeccably high and always goes above!

You can see Eli’s transformation from a timid love lost boy to what he has naturally become. I won’t spoil it but rest assured you will love what BJ chronicles in this great read!!!
