Abe Moss has been writing horror stories for as long as he can remember, and hopes to never stop. He loves creature-features, psychological horror, supernatural horror, cosmic horror, you name it. With each book he writes, he hopes to try something a little different. The possibilities are endless and that's what he really loves about storytelling. He hopes you'll enjoy his stories, too!
I'm not a fan of YA, but Abe Moss' Dread Void series has managed to pull me into his world, regardless. It's a fantastic blend of drama and cosmic horror, with some of the most likable characters I've seen in the genre. A great read for teens and adults alike - and Book 7 is no different than any of the others in that respect, building toward what I'm assuming is its inevitable climax.
Once again Nell is captured by Anne-Marie and her father, as they continue to use her for their evil plan. They threaten to kill Nell's mother, Justine, if she doesn't go with them. Who can help her this time? The plan releases monsters into the world and greatly weakens the Void. Tessie continues to struggle with her golden power, often bordering on no longer being a good person. Nell, Justine and Lisa go on a mission to find the son of Hux. Abe Moss has continued to write books in this series that capture you and pull you into the story. The characters are all well developed, even if they aren't all likable. Can Nell help rescue the Void and protect the world from the damage caused by Anne-Marie and her father? I can't wait to read the next and last book in this series. I'll be sad to see the series ending.
I received an ARC copy of this story from the author and this is my honest review.
I love that book 7 is as good as book 1 was. I just love Abe Moss's writing style. He can make it seem you are in the room with the characters as the hijinx unravels. Please be aware of an awesome cliffhanger for the ending. I'm excited for book 8. I definitely recommend this book and author. Thank you!
I have been an avid book reader for as long as I can remember. I have never had a story line hold my interest through 7 books & I am seriously looking forward to the next!! Life events kept me from starting this book when I wanted to, but once I picked it up I couldn't put it down- just like the books before it! I have read each of these books as they came out & everything Abe Moss in between. NO DOUBT my MOST FAVORITE author- you will be surprised at every turn, no matter what you read of his!! You will never guess what's happening next, very unpredictable & imaginative! I had not planned on reading this series, because I normally don't do series books- typically my attention span won't allow it. 7 books in & I still VERY MUCH look forward to book 8!!! Time spent reading ANYTHING Abe Moss is time well spent, I PROMISE!!!
Love this Author and the Dread Void Series! Wow! What can I say, another book by Abe Moss that is just as amazing and leaves you thirsting for more. Nell has learned what she thinks is the answer to the problems happening in the Void. As a traveler with Hux and by herself she thinks she can solve the question of where is Hux. Can she find his son Nathan, can they together get Hux back into the fight of the Void? I have read this series and love it. You will not go wrong by reading Abe Moss's books.
I have been holding off on reading Book 7 because I knew I wasn't going to be able to wait to read the final book. What an insane ride this book is! Edge of your seat kind of reading with our favorite (and some not so favorite) characters. Abe Moss has done a phenomenal job creating this world. I really don't want it to end, but all good things do. I'm off to start Book 8. I'll be up way past my bedtime reading. If you haven't read this series, hop to it! All aboard The Dread Void! Highly recommend!
This is a wonderful addition to this thrilling series! Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable. Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story. Such a thrilling read that I couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read more of these. Recommend reading.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
Nell has no option but to go with Anne-Marie who threatens to kill her mother. The experiment on Nell goes haywire. Chaos ensues as monsters enter the human realm. Will Nell succeed in finding Hux? Will Tessie come to her aid? Abe Moss aptly describes the adventures of Nell and Tessie as they battle against the monsters. The ending is unexpected and hilarious.
Past volumes of the Dread Void series have impressed me with author Moss’ vast imagination and wild ideas. In Book 7, I appreciated cleverness of so many of the plot details. And of course nothing less is at stake now except the fate of the entire universe.
Well written, engaging, full of mystery, fear and humour. Good characters. Brilliant throughout. Abe has an extraordinary imagination, which reels you in and keeps you there. Can't wait to read the next book in the series.
If you have been reading the Dread Void series prepare yourself for a page turning ride. Seriously set aside the time to read this book in its entirety because once you start you won't want to stop.
Great book 7 in this series! I'm really enjoying the journey the author's taking us on. Fast paced, strong characters with some twists and turns. Looking forward to the next book.
Love this series and can’t wait to start the last book. It’s like no other series I have read. Abe Moss has a wondrous imagination. Haven’t found one book written by him that I haven’t liked. Highly recommend this series.
