After human females are no longer capable of becoming pregnant, I enter a program to be seeded by an alien male . . .
But when the facility is attacked, I discover my mate is none other than Ezal, a powerful alien prince and heir to the Krev throne.
I rebel against his tyrannical rules but he’s determined to protect and seed me, no matter the cost. And when I discover he’s tormented by inner demons and consumed by the need to control, we embark on a passionate love affair.
When he touches me, I yearn for more. When he kisses me, I surrender in gratitude. When he undresses me, I ache to scream his name. And when he makes me fly, I soar higher than ever before.
When Ezal warns me to keep my distance, it only makes me want him more. I discover my true desires, as well as the dark secrets he keeps hidden away from prying eyes . . .
"Alien Prince's Mate" is the first book in the popular series,Fated Mates of the Seed, and tells the story of Roxy and Ezal. It is a full-length, standalone alien sci-fi romance, featuring a possessive alpha alien in intense, steamy scenes with his human mate. There are no cliff-hangers, no cheating, and a happily ever after is guaranteed!
“Hot, steamy, and totally addictive, this is a sci-fi romance that will obsess you, possess you, and stay with you forever.”
The premise was good until both characters got 'stupid'. Both jumping to unreasonable conclusions without thinking or Gods forbid communicating. Are they adults or children? I cannot agree with higher ratings. It was enjoyable until the proverbial 'intermission'.
The story slid downhill fast from when the outpost got attacked.
Where to begin? The fmc quickly starts the book off by talking about her desire for babies – that's cool, I dig it. What I didn't like was the whole ' use men as sperm donors & sexual gratification partners,' and then *bounce.
The whole premise is to marry some random guy, but not be serious about it, trick him so he will screw you. Have funzies and make sure to get your orgasmic dues, do your damnedest to get pregnant, and then disappear without a trace.
What is wrong with this weird feminist agenda? It's like a strange mixture of 'my body my choice' but also 'my way/highway'. Since when do people think this way? Even for fantasy this is such a 💩💩💩 outlook on life. The entitlement is outlandish. She holds onto typical New Age Feminist ideas while also trying to justify sperm theft, and yet still getting upset that the guy expects to have a family/wife after she married him... and gained wealth and prestige through his name.
The kicker was the whole speech on how 'sleeping with another man outside of marriage isn't cheating' because of the fertility issues. 🗑🗑🗑
I know this is a short book but can we make it a little bit more believable. The female character was just too stupid to live. All she cared about was getting humped by male character. It didn't matter if they were getting shot at or trying to escape the bad guys she was just desperate to have his seed, even though their chances of escape were slim. Come on man, that would be the last thing I'd be thinking about.

This was a fab intro to a new series and I loved the idea that human women were volunteering to go and get impregnated by alien males - due to an infertility problem on Earth. Prince Ezal is secretly hoping to find a mate and Roxy sparked with him. With an attack on the facility, these two escape and start to catch feelings. However, it doesn't go that smoothly and Roxy heads back to Earth, only to be kidnapped. Thankfully, Ezal realizes what she truly means to him and heads into danger. He had a fair bit of character growth to go through to be the male worthy of Roxy and the twists and suspense keep things hopping while it happens. The romance between them was quite hot and I'm looking forward to the next book :D
I'm harsh. I apologize in advance. I read this book along with a couple of friends. We are debating if it was ghost written by a 15 year old boy or not. The premise had amazing potential. But it was ruined by ENORMOUS plot holes, the most unrealistic human/being interactions imaginable, campy dialogue, superficial Sci-Fi references, and typos. So many typos.
The premise has a lot of hope but poor execution. I like that we can see it from either character's point of view but they're both just so.... stupid. Their priorities are all out of whack. While it was a relatively easy read the cringy dialogue choices quickly bring you out of the story. I will say, I can never look at the word "thudded" the same again so take that as you will.
I loved this book. Here human women aren't abducted, they go willingly to have a chance at being mothers science infertility is a problem in all species. Then she meets Ezra that was supposed to be just a sperm donor but things change and suddenly they are fighting for their life's. I want to know more about this evil aliens too, they must be stopped! Great book.
I have been working my way through this authors great sci fi collections and this was yet another enjoyable read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

And when they see each other again they finally tell each other how they really feel and Roxy finally looks at the test and tells Ezal that she is pregnant with his child. Can Ezal save his mate and child from the evil Gruem or not. Brilliant book and a must read.

I must confess that this book was a big surprise for me. Bc it's the first time I read a book about aliens and their mates and it's more packed with emotions, feelings, action, duty and friendship than smexy times ( and when it is is in no way as grafic as I'm used to for this kind of books).
I loved that Ezal (prince of Kren) is all the worrior type strong muscled and gorgeous but he is the biggest cinnamon roll and romanticist I've ever seen. He is not afraid to admit it and he embrace it too. He has A way of talking that melt the screen(no dirty talking here but full of emotion love caring ...you get the gest).
Well the fml is not my most favorite though, she is too one way minded, at the beginning no empathy at all and sometimes frustrating. But she is getting a bit better after the first half. She will go through a lot to get her HAE with her prince and the reader's will love the action.

An amazing story. Roxy wants a baby but humans cant procreate, so she signs up to be seeded by an alien. When she reaches the fertilization facility, she is chosen by a VIP customer. Ezal is the prince of the Krev empire and he wants a mate for his Shyat and he chooses Roxy. But what happens when he tells Roxy that she can only get pregnant if she is his fated mate? When they are attacked by the Gruem who want to take Ezal captive so they could take over the Krev empire he wants to do everything to keep Roxy safe. When he tells her that she cant get pregnant by him, Roxy asks him to take her back home. But when she is kidnapped by the Gruem, Ezal would lay his life to save her. Loved reading their story. Thanx.

I really enjoyed this book. Great world building and wonderful characters. This was a fast-paced, action-packed adventure. Ezal and Roxy were wonderful together and had such great chemistry. The story was exciting and I couldn't put it down. I only wish the ending wasn't so abrupt. It definitely needs an epilogue! 4 stars.
"There are no coincidences in life, only what was meant to be. You, here, with me, in this place… It is all part of a pattern that Fate has woven to bring us together. What you did in the past is no more relevant than what once roamed these lands a million years ago. You are mine and I will never let you go.”
Roxy and Ezal meet at the fertility station. He wants to spend his Shyatt away from the royal court and she wants a baby. Things come to an abrupt change when the station is attacked. The action jumps from the page from the very start but with some funny moments and lots of sweet romance.
Roxy is feisty, straight spoken and knows what she wants. Whilst Ezal is tormented, needing to control every bit of his life and certain that he wants more than just a transaction from Roxy.
A wonderful, steamy, sweet, action packed romance.

I've read a lot of Tammy Walsh's books in the past and this one was definitely on par with the others. I liked that the story was a spin on what we usually see. It's that the alien's females can no longer bear children and it's the human women to the rescue, but this one was the other way around. Earth women couldn't have babies and we had to look to the stars to put a baby in them. The story was both fun and sweet, full of twist and turns. If you're a fan of impressive alien packages and what they can do with it, you'll love this one. Trust me.

This book started off good, but it quickly went downhill for me. I was interested in Ezal and Roxy's story because I love a good steamy paranormal romance read and this story was funny but I'm not even sure what happened. All I know was that it had too much going on and at times it was ridiculous, and I quickly lost interest in the story which is sad because I had purchased the boxset but after reading this first book, I'm not interested in reading the others. This story had the potential to be a good maybe even great read for me, but it just went the other direction too quickly for me and it threw me off the story. I'm sorry to say that this wasn't the one for me.
"...life, no matter how difficult things are, finds a way to survive and thrive."
Roxy wants a child, and she'll go to extraordinary lengths to become a mother... but what about the father?
Ezal isn't looking for a relationship or commitment, or actually creating a child even, but everything changes when he lays eyes on Roxy.
This done in one kindle unlimited book is a reminder that the right person, our other half, can put things in perspective, can see our truths without always having to be told, and can help us survive the most unlikely, and trying of experiences.
I really enjoyed this story about a Prince and his human who were attending the fertility station for different reasons. Him to satiate his Shyat and for her to get pregnant, but will this happen. Some hilarious scenes at the beginning were brought to mind by clever writing, but the only reason I marked it down to 4 stars was the ending was very abrupt. Whether or not it will become apparent in the next book (unsure if they are linked or stand-alone's) will remain to be seen. Still well worth the read.
Roxy longs for a child, but with dropping rates of pregnancy for human, means that Roxy will have to go through 'The Alien Impregnation Program' to fulfil her dreams. Ezal has been watching the alien females going through the program, and finally one has caught his eyes. Will Roxy and Ezal both end up happy with their arrangement? I liked the chemistry between Roxy and Ezal, the dangers they faced, and how their relationship developed. I really liked Ezal's bodyguard Quayltok.

Fast paced, has action, adventure, intrigue, love book. Roxy wants a baby but can't get pregnant on Earth , so she must go to a fertility clinic. This is where she meets Ezal , who has been watching the arrivals and chooses her. Of course you have an attack on the station and they both have to flee. What an adventure for them, knowing that they will need each other to make it. She finally gets pregnant and tell him. Would have liked a little more to the ending. Would recommend this book.

Ezal is the Prince of Krev and is experiencing his first Shyat. He has watched many females on the screen and none catch his attention until a human female enters,Roxy. He claims her and she's taken to his room. As they are getting to know each other the facility is attacked. Now they're on the run from the enemy. Will they make it out alive? Will she accept that she is his fated mate? Exciting and a heart thrilling story!!!.

DNF. I hate not finishing a book, but this one was so so bad. Page one was ridiculous with Ezal’s POV, thinking he’s the most virile of males. It was just an lol moment. And then the writing just got worse. It’s like someone immature wrote the book. The language choices were sometimes odd, or the phrases and timing. I found the story very, gonna use the same word here, immature. Couldn’t stand it. I had a 6 book collection for this series, but based on what I did read in book 1, I deleted it all. No thanks!
Roxy wants a baby so badly that she sighs up for fertilization with any alien off planet since human men seemed to be sterile. What Roxy got was more than pregnant. She found her soul mate Ezal, a prince and their adventure begins. Lots of action and heat to get to their HEA. Two well developed characters in this story, and I like to read interesting Quayltok’s story soon! I am voluntarily leaving my review of this ARC.
This is such a good book. The action scenes are very descriptive and you can visualize and feel everything the characters do. The plot is amazing in the book as well. The only downside, is how quickly the story ended. The final fight was on the shorter side and didnt fully solve or answer many of the questions or thoughts I had for the characters. Still, very good book, some spice and very loving moments which I thoroughly enjoyed!
3.5 stars. This book takes a Sci-fi romance concept and spins it another way - and it worked! Well, at least I thought it did. A human female wanting, no needing to have a child, enters into a program to be seeded by an alien. Little did she know she was getting more than she bargained for and not in the way she was expecting!

The world created by the writer is amazing. I enjoyed reading this action packed story as I did the other books from the same author. I must admit however that I found it hard to like Roxy. Her character just didn't resonate with me. The prince was relatable and was written realistically but Roxy was all over the place. In saying that though, this was still an enjoyable adventure/romance read.

Ezal and Roxy. There is everything to love about this latest book by Tammy Walsh, Alien Prince's Mate. It has action from they beginning that continues to the end. The characters are so loveable and real. Ezal in some ways is like a kid. It is fun watching him grow up and become the male he should be. And Roxy is just awesome! And I can't help hoping that someday Quayltok gets an HEA of his very own. The sexy times were hot. The story fast paced and engrossing. Highly recommend!
