[Brooklynn Malec]

Interesting account of Hiroshima’s resilience following the atomic bombing. Hamai shares a valuable perspective we don’t often hear in the west. However, and this may be a translation issue, I found the tone of the book somewhat glib at times which didn’t suit such a serious account.
