As a security officer of Earth's first deep space vessel, I always believed there were aliens in outer space. But I never imagined they’d be total jerks. I might not have bought a ticket for the Space Z Pleasure Cruise, yet here I am, brought aboard as the…entertainment.

Abducted and far from home, I must rely on new alien allies to escape my captors. A sexy Rhonar warrior might be the biggest wild card of them all. When our enemies set off the self-destructive sequence, we're thrown into an escape pod together.

Crash-landing on a distant planet was not part of the getaway plan.

Alone with the big lug, he’s soon calling me his fated mate. Too bad I'm not the romantic kind. Yet, as we fight for each other’s survival I can’t help but be drawn to the alien warrior's inner fire. And well, his outside is smoking hot too.
Will we be able to find a path free of the planet's twisted caverns? And do I dare trust in the cosmic bond pulling us together?

Only the stars know.

Alien’s Getaway is a sci-fi romance and prequel to the new upcoming series, Lost Brides & Alien Warriors, but it can be read as a standalone. Will they find their fated mates? Epic spice, destined brides, and a happily-ever-after guaranteed.

Are you looking for something to fill the sexy alien sized hole in your life? Have you blazed through the entire Ice Planet Barbarian series and just crave more of that extraterrestrial lovin? Well look no further than Tina Moss' new Lost Brides & Alien Warriors series! Filled with perilous journeys and PWP, this is sure to keep you warm on those cold winter nights.

Seriously though, wtf did I just read 🤣 if you like rugged sexy brooding aliens and don't mind cheesyness or spelling and grammatical errors, this is for you! Not me.

I really enjoy this series and Tina Moss does an excellent job keeping fresh and exciting. The characters are well developed and you just fall in love with them. I loved the fact that Elana did not fight the bond of fated mates. Too often an author will make that the conflict and it gets a bit repetitive…not near though. This charming romance had me reading well into the night. Download and enjoy ❤️❤️.

Thank you to NetGalley for an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review!

**DNF at 54%**

I never thought I would find an alien romance that I didn’t care for, but I found it. This book wasn’t bad, necessarily. But it wasn’t great, and every time I put it down I didn’t want to pick it back up, so I just called it quits.

I have read shorter alien romances that do a better job of character development and plot building than this one. Like I said, it wasn’t bad; sentence structure wise, it was well written. But I didn’t care about the characters, because they felt cookie-cutter, and they had no personality. There was nothing unique about it that made it feel “different” than all the other alien romances out there. And when the romance began, it felt very rushed. I didn’t seem as though their attraction to one another was well developed, so every interaction they had felt fake and forced.

Normally I would have finished this book, but since there are so many other better things out there I want to read, I have to move on.

I’d apparently read this before but didn’t remember how many editing misses there were… How can a writer struggle with the differences between there, their, and they’re???

Ouch.

What an enjoyable read this book was the main characters had me cheering for them and there sizzling attraction to each other and steamy times together just it it all the more of a hot story. Daegan is a Rhonar warrior who has been searching for abducted humans when he see the Space Z Pleasure cruise ship but he knows it’s just a sex slave vessel and nothing more which now sees him trying to save the humans when the cruise ship is attacked and the self destruct is activated and everyone is fleeing to the pods and he must save as many as he can which now has him in a pod with a sexy and alluring female who he instantly knows she is his mate. Elena is a security officer when she is abducted from earth and ends up as the entertainment on a pleasure cruise but she won’t go down without a fight she will not be a sex slave and so she needs to make friends with other aliens on the ship so they can escape but the cruiser is attacked and the self destruct is activated she must get to a pod and escape or die and when she gets to one there is a sexy alien male in it and she has no choice but to share it with him and soon they are crash landing on a strange planet and end up in a underground caves to stay safe until they are rescued but the way he is looking at her has her attraction to him heating up even more and when he tells her she is his fated mate and that they belong together she is unsure at first but if it was true it would explain why she feels so drawn to him. Telling Elena that she is my mate has my desires for her burning hot to claim what is mine but she pulls away slightly which has him holding back but how long can he wait. There is danger all around them and he will protect her with his life and the closer they work together has them giving into there passion for each other and steaming up the caves. How does it all turn out do they get rescued and if so what of there future do they stay together or not, there is so much more packed inside this book and I’ve only scratched the surface in my review so enjoy this book.

I’m giving this book 2 stars and that’s me being very generous. I don’t even know where to start with this one.
First of all the book was 474 pages on my Kindle app on my iPhone. Of those 474 pages 102 were just filler. I personally hate book stuffing. Especially to such a large extent as this one. So I’m gonna stop calling this a book and call it a Novella cause that’s all that it was.
As I just told you this Novella was extremely short and because of that everything was rushed. There was no time for any real world building or relationship building or character building or anything really.
And because of that, you couldn’t really immerse yourself in their love story or really feel the chemistry because it was in a fast-train speed. I felt like the writing was very simple and somewhat juvenile. You could totally tell that this was written by someone who was still in their 20s and from a certain generation. A generation that is somewhat arrogant and lazy and feels like they can put in the bare minimum to get a job done. And you could feel that throughout the whole Novella.
It was lazy writing and lazy storytelling. The dialogue was very elementary and immature as were the interactions between the main characters.
This was supposed to be an alien male, but he came across as just another Bro from earth. I mean what alien knows how to call a woman from earth “good girl”. Like where was this alien supposed to hear such earth slang? He had never even been to earth. It was just juvenile stupid and it was the author pandering to all these popular catchphrases that are currently being overused like no other. It was just beyond cringe to be honest.
Cringe is a good word to describe this entire novella. I hate to say it, but I wouldn’t recommend this.

And brather instead of brother? Really? That’s the best you could come up with, just switching a vowel? Like I said lazy.

This book is exactly the quick read that I needed to cleanse my book palate.

It was fast paced, spicy, funny, and had lots of my favorite sci-fi romance tropes, from fated mates to wilderness survival to an unexpectedly adorable sidekick. I don't want to spoil too much on that front, but let's just say that it had me feeling the same way I felt about the otter-based mail delivery service in Sarah Maas's Crescent City.

Our protagonist, Elena, is a boricua security officer from Earth's first deep space vessel who was captured by bad-guy aliens to be sold as a slave. She is rescued by our good-guy alien hero, the warrior Daegan, who has cool metal tattoos and thinks that this feisty little human might be his fated mate. All hell breaks loose as they try to escape, and the two of them are forced to get to know each other (and explore their instant attraction) on a strange planet where their escape pod crash lands.

If you like a brawny alien hero who likes to take charge in the bedroom, you're going to like Daegan.

I will definitely pick up the next book in the series when I need something short, sweet, and interstellar.

She might be a security officer on Earth's first deep space vessel but the worst move she made was to buy a ticket for the Space Z Pleasure Cruise as she is abducted and far from home needing her to rely on new alien allies to escape her captors. The real wild card is a sexy Rhonar warrior who vows to protect her and they escape in an escape pod together. After crash landing on a faraway planet, he is soon describing her as his fated mate but she is not the romantic kind. As they fight for each other's lives she can't help but be drawn to him. Can they escape and can they trust the bond that is pulling them together?

I enjoyed this story although some of it was a little fast-paced and felt abbreviated. I enjoyed the moments when they both had to fight for their survival and it was great to see a strong and sassy woman who was not prepared to hide behind the man. I liked the fact that there was a similarity between the end of this story and the others. Easy to read and understand, this story contained mature content.

GET IT NOW!

The start of the new series is here! This is the prequel novella you've been waiting for. And I'm bias, but if you've ever dreamed of a trip among the stars...

With a hot alien warrior...

Who says you're his fated mate...

And would do anything for you...

And made you feel like...

Well, then this might be for you!

Oh and be prepared for the alien "pickle"...

This prequel to a new series has a little bit of everything. An element of danger, a sinfully hot alien, a smart sarcastic heroine, fated alien mates, lots of chemistry and steam... It was hard to find something not to like. Being a prequel, it's novella length, so the pace was quite fast and anything that happened also had to be resolved quickly, but there was still a fair bit of development.

I could follow along with no issues, but this is my first book by Moss and I believe based on blurbs for other books that she has another series featuring this alien species, the Rhonar. If you've read that, you definitely want to read this. And maybe I should have read that other series first too, since I feel I would have known the circumstances a bit better if I had.

With that said, it was funny, it was sexy and I liked how she incorporated just a bit of "alien" in words for things but you could tell what it meant. A good choice if you like sci-fi romance or want to give it a shot.

I loved this. It was, to me, a lighter romance than some but no less fun or enjoyable for that. I want more!
Elena was the security officer for her ship but that was before she woke up in a zoo as an exibit. Befriending a female alien, they managed to get out of the zoo but landed themselves in a cell. This too they managed to get out of but it looks like their luck has officially run out as Elena is about to be sold as an exotic pet and the ships starts blaring about self destrcution. Not that at the moment she minds looking at the potential buyer. No, bad chica! Daegan is part of a mission to save Terrans but he nearly blows it when he catches the most delectable scent. One that appears to be part of the beautiful Terran woman he knew was hiding and who is now stuck in an very small escape pod with. He is not entirely certain that he will survive her let alone the crash landing they are about to have.

Rhonan warrior Daegan (H) is on a mission to search and rescue Earth women when he boards the trafficking ship operated by the Mangox. Elena (h) bought a ticket for a space pleasure cruise, unaware that she would be taken captive. The rescue effort goes awry and the Mangox opt to self-destruct their vessel, and Daegan and Elena are forced to escape in an emergency pod crashing into a nearby planet. Facing hazards on the planet, Daegan and Elena find themselves forced together as things get hot and steamy between the two, aided by Daegan’s special eggplant. The relationship between the two is great - she's just as strong in the relationship as he is and he’s not just a possessive muscled alien but rather he cares for Elena and would follow her anywhere. Lovely alien fated mates romance with a plenty of ultra-hot and steamy sexy goodness. It was fun and engaging from beginning to end.

Alien’s Getaway, a prequel novella for the upcoming Lost Brides & Alien Warriors series, is an action-packed, steamy read.

Elena, a human security officer now captive on a pleasure cruiser, finds an opportunity to escape. However, when she is joined by Rhonar warrior, Daegan, in her escape, things get…interesting. When Daegan starts calling her his fated mate, could he be right?

I loved both the MCs in this story. Elena is fierce and strong, a warrior in her own right. Daegan is deliciously protective. And let’s not forget the florin—the true star of the show!

I highly recommend this novella for those in the mood for a fast-paced read with alien warriors, plenty of steam, and lots of action. Looking forward to the series!

This is the first time I am reading Tina Moss. As a Prequel to the Lost Brides and Alien Warriors series, the book should be an introduction, yet readers are thrown into action they have no idea about unless they've read the first book in the Earth Brides & Alien Warriors series. As for the story itself, it doesn't really stand out from other alien abduction romances. In it we will find a hot alien warrior, a human woman who turns out to be his fated mate, insta-lust and insta-love. My rating is 3.5 stars.

I spent much of my time reading this in a state of confusion. This is the first work of Tina Moss’s I’ve read, and it is a prequel to a new series, so I only have myself to blame for not knowing what was going on.

Immediately we are thrown into a prison escape off of a spaceship, called a Pleasure Cruise by the antagonists. Elena, the FMC, and her fellow prisoner (who has main character energy, so I’m sure she’ll be getting her own book) are caught by the MMC (Daegan) who boarded the ship for…I have no idea. The bad guys then initiate a self-destruct sequence, so the MMC alien hottie promises to protect and pleasure the FMC until his dying breath. That felt a little extreme to me, to be honest. After crash-landing on a random planet, everything that could go wrong, goes wrong.

Everything happened so fast. Any angst/suspense would immediately be resolved within a few pages. I found myself disinterested in the next bad thing that would happen.

Despite this, I believed that Elena and Daegan cared for each other. Their connection may have been instant, but their concern and care for each other was genuine.

The elements for a compelling story were all there. If this were not my first book set in this world, I think I would have enjoyed the story.

⭐️⭐️⭐️

An entertaining read, novella length. This is a super fast-paced, action/adventure alien sci-fi romance.

Elena and Daegan escape the Mangox ship, hippo-bear like alien thugs, in an escape pod and crash land on a planet. The action is non-stop for these fated mates.

Daegan and Elena both feel something when they hear each other’s name indicating they are fated mates. There is minimal to no angst in this short read, but plenty of adventure and danger.

Daegan is a warrior looking for thr lost humans. Humans may be able to save his race, but first they must save them from dangers after their ship was attacked. He finds Elena on a cruise ship but its really a slave ship. They escape a self destruction cruise ship into an escape pod, crash land on a strange planet, get stuck in an underground cavern and wait for help. During all this the tension between them is off the charts. This is one steamy story with a happily ever aftervwith a fated mate. Loved!!.

Daegan and Elena, yes! He knew she was his as his true mate, even before he saw her. Her scent was the mark. Elena, an experienced military leader, wasn’t ready for the intensity of Daegan or her reaction to him. Passion was hot. And forever together for them began. Onto the series, itself. A great beginning.

If you have not read at least the first book of the series this is a prequel for, It's not very good. Since a lot of backstory is told there and we're dumped in the middle of things and we're supposed to know said backstory, it gets very confusing. The other thing is that all conflicts are solved way too easily, and it makes the tension dissapear. And the fMC is not funny at all. I didn't even understand half her jokes.
