I was born and grew up in North London, England, but was unable to attend university when young due to family financial circumstances. Instead, I worked at various occupations, including dental nurse, laboratory assistant and shop assistant.

I married just before I was 20, and travelled to some interesting places around the world, following my husband’s career. I spent much time reading, a passion, but in order to keep further occupied I took office jobs when these were available to me; I hated the work, but the money was useful.

When we were back in the UK I took evening classes at various times and gained ‘A’ levels in Psychology, Sociology and English, eventually settling in Kent with my husband and becoming a mature student and gaining Bachelor's and Master's degrees in English and Literature before training and working as a teacher.

In 2016 we moved to the peace and quiet of rural Lincolnshire, and my sporadic writing activities became more permanent. I self-published Fairytales Don't Come True, my debut novel, in May 2020 and since then have written and published four books of poetry, October Poems, Thanksgiving Poems & Prose Pieces, Poet-Pourri and Social Climbing and Other Poems.

In January 2021 I published a sequel to Fairytales entitled Degenerate, Regenerate, and at the end of March 2021 I published a psychological suspense story, You Know What You Did. A third book was published in June 2021, entitled All That We Are Heir To, to make up the 'Criminal Conversation' trilogy with Fairytales and Degenerate, In November 2022 I published another psychological suspense story, What Else Did You Do?, which is a sequel to You Know What You Did. The work didn't stop, as alongside this sequel I was writing a fourth book to follow the 'Criminal Conversation' trilogy. Entitled 'Innocent, Guilty'. It was published in January 2023, and a fifth book, 'The Future of Our House' came out in June 2023. The sixth and final book is entitled, 'Uphill, Downhill, Over, Out.' A new standalone novel, 'An Honourable Institution' was published in January 2025.

I try to go for a long walk each day (weather permitting; I’m a fair-weather walker) in the beautiful countryside around us, and exercise for a couple of hours each morning, including use of a hula-hoop and stepping machine. I love food and drink and have spent half my life battling a weight problem. I managed to lose 5 stone of unfortunately-gained weight a few years ago and am determined to never regain it, Unfortunately however Covid and lockdown thwarted those plans, but at least I haven't put it all back on. Hopefully in what's left of 2023 I will manage to lose the excess. Life's certainly not fair in that respect, as every other day is a diet day (for hubby too) but the weight still came back. When not being careful--more often than is desirable these days--we enjoy a good meal with wine.

For other leisure activities I have taught myself to play the recorder--badly, but it keeps the brain cells ticking over. I also listen to music of many types; Tracy Chapman is playing while I write this, and will later be replaced by Leonard Cohen or Katie Melua or any one of dozens of other artists, or by some classical music or opera, another passion.

There’s also reading, something which I have loved since I was a child. I became a convert to eBooks and subscribed to the Kindle Unlimited programme, because although I love physical books, my bookcases are groaning under the weight and I don’t have room for any more. I review everything I read, since I became an author myself and realise the value of these in getting our work in front of as many eyes as possible; but it does mean that I have a large virtual To Be Read pile!

In late 2021 I undertook editorial training and freelance work as a sub-editor. I terminated that work in late 2022, but have my hands full writing my own books and reviewing those of others.

My latest news is that I finally got around to building m

After reading book #1, I was excited to read #2. I loved checking in with my two favorite authors and finding out what they had been up to. Of course they provided the perfect mixture of suspense, fright and fun. I was on the edge of my seat quite a few times. And I was pleasantly surprised at the mention of Amanda Sheridan, another author that I enjoy (in real life). I read this book while recovering from surgery and it was the perfect distraction. Thank you Laura Lyndhurst for helping me heal.

Laura Lyndhurst's "What Else Did You Do" is an exceptional psychological suspense thriller that surpasses its predecessor, "You Know What You Did." With a tantalizingly intricate yet easy-to-follow plot, this book keeps you on the edge of your seat until the final page. The author's masterful narration skillfully introduces almost every adult character as a suspect, weaving a web of complexity and depth.

From beloved characters returning from the prequel to new, compelling additions, the story gains even more richness and intrigue. I was completely engrossed, devouring the book in just two sittings. Lyndhurst's writing is both beautiful and thrilling, leaving me astounded when the true villain was revealed.

To fully appreciate this gripping tale, it's advisable to read the first book in the two-part series. I highly recommend doing so. Ms. Lyndhurst's writing is well-crafted, with a solid and thought-out structure. Lisa, with her wry observations, and Amanda, the sympathetic heroine, captivate readers with their journey of personal growth amidst a storm of chaos.

"What Else Did You Do?" surpasses expectations as a sequel, centering around the main characters from the previous book. Amanda strives to rebuild her shattered life while Lisa basks in the glory of literary success. Yet, someone is determined to destroy them both, creating an atmosphere of relentless tension that keeps the pages turning.

Amanda's struggles to prove her innocence when faced with a string of attacks add an exhilarating layer to the story. The suspense intensifies as trust becomes scarce, and the characters grapple with their unknown enemy. Through alternating perspectives and skillful placement of chapters from the stalker's viewpoint, Lyndhurst ratchets up the tension, further immersing the reader.

Lyndhurst's eagerly-awaited sequel, "What Else Did You Do?" delivers a first-class, page-turning thriller that holds you captive until the final revelation. The array of suspects keeps you guessing, constantly shifting your suspicions from one character to another. The author's unique writing style, diving deep into the thoughts of Amanda and her rival, provides a captivating and immersive experience.

At times, you may find it hard to sympathize with either protagonist, believing they deserve their predicaments. However, as the story progresses, you'll find yourself rooting for them, empathizing with their entanglement in a situation beyond their control.

In conclusion, "What Else Did You Do" is a standout sequel that surpasses its predecessor. Laura Lyndhurst has crafted a gripping and emotionally charged thriller that will keep you enthralled from beginning to end. It's a must-read for fans of the genre and anyone seeking a riveting tale of suspense, deception, and the enduring strength of the human spirit.

A gripping sequel!
She’s out!
Amanda Roberts has served her time and is looking forward to getting her life back together. With the help of her newfound friend, Rose, she has a place to stay, a future as a writer of children’s books and is making plans to spend time with her children in the hopes that in the not-too-distant future they will be back with her where they belong.
Meanwhile, her adversary has hit the top and is reaping the benefits as a best-selling author, and life couldn’t be better. For now. But with an apartment firebombed, a second home set on fire and a knife wielding fanatic ready to attack, Amanda Roberts is number one suspect. However, she has a seemingly-fool proof alibi to prove she was nowhere in the vicinity at the time of these incidents.
Tension mounts, as Amanda hasn’t got a clue who is trying to frame her, while her rival is becoming more concerned for her life and gone into hiding with a new security team to keep her safe.
Their lives now spiralling out of control with both unsure of who they can trust, no one is above suspicion as each rack their brains on who has it in for the two of them.
‘What Else Did You Do’ is a brilliant sequel to ‘You Know What You Did.’ The story is told from the POV of Amanda and her opponent, with added chapters carefully placed from the stalker, which really does add to the tension.
With some old characters and some new you are taken on a roller coaster ride of revenge, danger and murder. Again, the author has used her talent and created a well written story with lots of twist, which will keep you engrossed and guessing until the very end.
I thoroughly enjoyed this sequel and can highly recommend it!

What Else Did You Do? is Laura Lyndhurst’s eagerly-awaited sequel to You Know What You Did.
Three years have passed and Amanda Roberts is determined to put the events that trashed her life, her marriage and her reputation behind her. But someone doesn’t want her back on top again.
This is a first-class, page-turning thriller that you will not be able to put down until you reach the end.
It is a whodunnit with a host of possible suspects, and one minute you will be convinced who the culprit is, then the next minute you will be releasing them pending further enquiries while you cast your suspicious eyes on another suspect. It is that good.
Lyndhurst has a unique style of writing that lends itself to this book as the story is told through the often rambling, sometimes frantic, thoughts of Amanda and her rival, and I loved how she allows the reader to get so well into their heads.
At times you will find that you have no sympathy for either of the two, and you will believe they are getting what they deserve but, as you read on, you will find yourself rooting for them more and more as they get caught up in something they cannot control.
Lyndhurst has written such a clever plot, and when the ‘Ah, ha’ moment comes you will smile and nod wisely at how well it all comes together.
If you haven’t read You Know What You Did, go and read it now and then read this one!

Fantastic Thriller!

Amanda Roberts, released from prison after doing her time, 3 years for stabbing a fellow author, collected by her ex cell mate Rose wanting to move on with her life. Immediately after a release, a fire destroyed the house of her victim, Lisa Lindstrom... pure coincidence or was it planned by Amanda? The condition of early release was a monitoring ankle tag, and this inconvenience saved her as this was the best alibi anyone could wish for. But on the flip side, could Amanda have an accomplice who did her dirty work for her? The new life she planned was about to take a whole new path!
The 2nd book in this series was just as good as the first. Laura Lyndhurst certainly has an awesome skill of pulling in her readers, keeping their interest locked tight as the suspense hightens and the plot thickens with every chapter, leading you down different paths so you don't know the victims from the perpetrators. The tension builds right to the very end and leaves you hunting for the next of her books. Well written, plenty of surprising twists but with a satisfying closure for all concerned. Thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend.

I loved this book. It’s a humorous and enjoyable read, especially for self-published author, like myself. We all dream of having our books noticed and becoming a best-selling author. The two protagonists are authors who have reached that goal. They are enemies and don’t trust each other and for good reason.
I particularly loved the inner thoughts of both authors and their insecurities. Though both are famous, in their own right, they continuously doubt themselves and fear the worst. This realism brought the story to life, as we all have these uncertainties and the author captured them vividly.
This book captured my interest from the beginning and kept me reading to find out the outcome. Rarely does a book follow two protagonists so evenly, and I liked/disliked them both in equal measure. They were both so real and believable.
I highly recommend this story. Fun, quirky, readable.

What Else Did You Do… the sequel to You Know What You Did, again sets a question before the reader. This time round, however, we have cause to wonder both by whom and of whom is the question asked?
Complexity may well be found to wear the thinnest of veils, while simplicity reveals itself as a layered labyrinth; a maze with one way through, and a heap of deceptive dead ends.
As good a read as You Know What You Did, as it flicks between the characters, making you wonder who’s who in the zoo, and who they’re looking to feed on.
The characters are grounded and real – even the one who made the transition from appearing in a comedy across to the top performance in this gripping little Lyndhurst number.

This second instalment in the Amanda Roberts series is just as gripping, logical, and thought out as the first, with a solid introduction and some startling revelations in the later stages. Lyndhurst takes what she achieved in her first book and builds upon it, presenting the story from different perspectives and introducing both old and new characters.

Amanda is the same as she was in the previous book, with the destruction brought upon her life still visible, forcing her to bear the scars. The rivalry is strong, though, and it is easy to see just how Amanda is struggling with how she jumps to conclusions or is paranoid on occasion about who she is with and their motivations. I loved how this added another layer of mystery to a brilliantly constructed plot.

The ending was as strong as the first and once you know it it is easy to find the trail and subtle hints earlier in the book, which I won't mention due to spoilers. It leaves the door open for more and I hope there is further mystery to unlock in more books by this author.

Like book one in this series, this novel had alternating chapters to show the character change between Amanda and Lisa, with occasional chapters in italics to show an unknown viewpoint with an agenda against one - or both - of the women. The story picked up with Amanda released from jail after doing time for her assault on Lisa, and at rock bottom as she tried to pick up the pieces of her life, while Lisa who was now at the top as a best-selling author, suffered an attack on her apartment and accusations of copyright over her books. Like the first book, I found this to be well written, especially the role reversal between successful and down-and-out. This of course set the tension high leaving me wondering if Amanda was getting revenge on Lisa for stealing her limelight - or whether an unknown third stalker was behind the malicious pursuit of Lisa. As the book progressed, I did like how both women's suspicions manifested in different ways as per their personalities; Amanda's paranoia turning to a practical run-through of all possible culprits while Lisa's became more angry and geared towards Amanda.

Despite how well written it was, I found that this book didn't grip me as much as the first, mainly because I didn't find either Amanda or Lisa particularly sympathetic; both had done criminal acts towards each other, with Amanda even in prison for assaulting Lisa. I guessed quite early on what was really happening behind the people who were getting killed, like Amanda's friend Rose, and then found the villainous motives being told through dialogue in a long, detailed conversation at the end, simply a means to wrap up the plot. I also found the change in relationship of the characters in the epilogue a bit unrealistic too after everything they had been through in the story up until that point. Overall though it was a solid book and I would be interested in other novels by this author.

Fabulous Psychological Thriller!

The sequel to You Know What You Did by Laura Lyndhurst is a thrilling, page-turning, whodunit that surpasses the high expectations I had after reading the first book in the Amanda Roberts series. Although you don’t have to read the first book in order to be captivated by this one, I was immediately hooked and curious as to who was terrorizing the two main characters, Amanda Roberts and Lisa Lindstrom, who also happen to be rivals.
This psychological thriller is about the world of books, authors, writers, publishers, marketers, celebrities, and media mavens, a subject that is fascinating and engaging for anyone who likes to read books and read about the people who bring them to the masses. Lyndhurst’s gripping narrative is told through the points of view of the two targeted victims, as well as the unknown predator.
Lyndhurst’s writing style is humorous and often blunt, and I found myself chuckling at the observations made by the characters (especially Lisa), despite the mounting danger and palpable tension that grew steadily throughout the book. To wit, at one point after a run-in with an obnoxious gossip columnist who tries to bait her into an embarrassing admission during a media event, Lisa quips, “And she’s gone, in a swirl of chiffon and cyanide.” LOL-I loved it!
The counterpoint to Lisa’s witty sarcasm and wry sense of humor is the beautiful portrayal of Amanda’s relationship with her children, with whom she had been estranged for three years at the beginning of the novel. I found myself truly engaged and anxious that something terrible would happen to take Amanda away from her children again, or cut Lisa down just after she had finally become a successful author. Lyndhurst’s pacing is impeccable, her cast of characters entertaining, and her mastery of the plot twist compelling. I highly recommend this second offering in the Amanda Roberts series, which was as riveting and enjoyable as the first!

Literary nemeses Lisa Lindstrom and Amanda Roberts both find themselves targeted by a vengeful third party in this slick, entertaining sequel to the psychological thriller I Know What You Did. Three years have passed since the violent climax of their feud. Amanda is now out of prison and trying to piece her life back together, while Lisa is living the life she always dreamed of as a best-selling author. A series of shocking events forces both women to re-evaluate their priorities, as someone is manipulating their lives in cruel, elaborate ways.

I was a big fan of the antagonist’s delicious dark humor in the first book, as she narrated the events in mock letters to her rival. That’s mostly missing here, unfortunately. We are given snippets of the new antagonist’s plotting in a similar POV, but they’re few and far between. The rest of the book alternates between Lisa’s and Amanda’s storylines—the rollercoaster ups and downs of their day-to-day lives that gradually unravel and converge in pulpy fashion. It’s a whodunnit at heart. I found it engaging, but not quite as riveting as its predecessor.

It's well-written by Ms. Lyndhurst. The structure is rock solid and nicely thought out. Lisa provides plenty of barbed observations as her life comes crashing down about her. She remains a wry psychopath who’s just about learned to play nice with the literary crowd. Amanda is a sympathetic heroine who’s been hardened by prison but still harbors hopes of recapturing some semblance of her old, happy family life. There’s plenty of inventive storytelling, and for the most part it’s unpredictable. Unlike the first book, I found some of the twists a little hard to swallow this time around.

Overall, I think fans of book 1 will find much to enjoy here. It isn’t as disturbing, or as darkly witty, but the two women remain fascinating characters, and readers will want to follow them all the way to the fateful denouement. A good sequel.

Possible SPOILER to Book 1!

It’s been three years since the events that took place in You Know What You Did. Author Amanda Roberts is released from prison after the ‘incident’ with Lisa Lindstrom at the end of the first novel. Amanda is trying to get her life back together with the help of new friends and old. She does her best to return as a mother to her two children, now young teens, and return to some semblance of normalcy in her life. Lisa is now a successful author. Amanda wants a fresh start, but the people around her end up pushing her into another nightmare.
Someone is attacking Lisa and framing Amanda. With so many people she thought she knew may be a suspect, she needs to do everything she can to prove her innocence. There are quite a few suspects thanks to new characters and a few returning from the first book.
As with the first novel, What Else Did You Do is a bit of a soap opera. There are moments that seem to push logic out the window for the sake of the story. Some interactions are a bit too convenient, and behaviors border on unreality. However, the fun of the novel is that it never attempts to be realistic. The novel achieves exactly what it’s meant to. There are moments when you want to claw out the eyes of bad guys, and root for the… sort of good guy. The character development of Amanda Roberts is well done. I didn’t know it was possible to like her or feel sympathy for her, but I did. The story has many characters from the past, like Amanda’s ex Jack, who is something else. Without spoiling too much, there were times when I hated him so much that I was getting anxious. Fantastic writing, which really grips the reader from beginning to end. I enjoyed the novel, and I thought it to be a worthy sequel to Laura Lyndhurst’s first entry into the Amanda Roberts stories.

What Else Did You Do? Is one of those rare occasions when the sequel is better than the first. It centres around the two main characters from the first book. Amanda is attempting to rebuild a life shattered by Lisa, though she was the architect of her own downfall. Lisa is revelling in the glory of a stratospheric rise to the top of the fiction charts. Somebody is trying to destroy them both. We know neither of them are doing it, but the characters don’t. The tension surrounding this dynamic keeps the pages flipping.

There are references back to the first book. Whilst it’s unnecessary to read the first, there will be more enjoyment in the second if you have read the first. If you’ve read neither, buy them both together. There are some lovely nods to indie authors in the book, which I thoroughly enjoyed (and noticed), giving a depth to the novel beyond the story itself. Laura draws the two main characters in exquisite detail. Though Amanda seems a little more likeable than the first book, Lisa is now thoroughly despicable. They’re both a little too full of themselves to be people you’d want to have dinner with, though I’m sure they’d be charming to your face, behind the scheming eyes, they’d construct a narrative in which they’re better than you.

Written in the style of a journal that slows the pacing, but I have zero complaints about the complexity of the plot, the characters, or the writing itself.

I worked out the mastermind behind their woes early on, but not the reasons. There was a lovely self-referential circle back for the reasoning.

This is a fitting sequel. Written in a more direct style, it would easily have been a five star.

Brilliant follow up is an easy to read page turner
This book takes up the story from 'You Know What You Did' in an equally compelling psychological suspense mystery. Once again the chapters are narrated alternately by the two warring protagonists (both authors), with an occasional chapter from a mystery character with some sort of vendetta against one of them. The plot continues the theme of the apparently cut-throat world of book publishing and there was a clever part where one of the authors sets up an organisation to support other upcoming writers, and this allowed for a tiny cameo appearance by this book's author, Laura Lyndhurst. I smiled when yet another author was named – Amanda Sheridan – who I have recently read (not yet top ranking, but may soon be.)

In this story the fortunes of the two protagonists are reversed since the previous book, and as before, the story is packed with twists and turns. Both old and new characters had me speculating about their motives and kept me guessing until the very end. I found author Lyndhurst's writing style a joy to read: her characters behaved consistently, even though I might not want to encounter some of them, and the pace never flagged. I read this enthralling book in a weekend, and would definitely recommend it and the previous book to fans of mystery and suspense. The insights into the world of book publishing were quite fascinating and all in all this is a highly entertaining read.

I enjoyed this book, especially as it describes the world of self publishing so well.
The main characters, Amanda and Lisa, were well fleshed out, and their acrimonious relationship took an interesting turn at the end. It was easy to like Amanda and detest Lisa.

The writing style slightly deterred me in the first chapter with its many strings of commas and phrases, but the author has made a valiant and successful effort with writing in the active voice for both characters throughout the whole book. I'm glad that I persevered as I often drop a book if the first page disappoints.

The storyline was original. Perhaps more detail on how Lisa's work was stolen and published would have added credibility. Details of the explosion and arson by the perpetrator are left to the reader's imagination. There is even a surprise romantic touch towards the end. Best of all is the conclusion with a collaborative book by Amanda and Lisa. Amanda's humorous request for a reader's review is superb and encapsulates a writer's hope for success.
This book deserves success.

A great sequel to What did you do? which I read in a couple of sittings and enjoyed as much, if not more, than the first book, perhaps because I already knew the background. The story follows the two main characters from book one, neither of whom is very likeable and neither of whom seem to change despite everything that happens to them. At the end of book 1, one character is in the ascendant and the other in a very low place, but that begins to change when they’re both caught up in acts of revenge which, initially, they blame on one another. It turns out, however, that they have a single enemy to face, and must put aside their difference and act together if they’re to survive. This made for a thrilling page turner with surprises and plot twists I didn’t see coming, and an antagonist I had my suspicions about though didn't know why. Cleverly written, well-paced and skilfully plotted, this book was a fascinating and unusual dive into the dark underbelly of publishing, self-publishing and social media. Highly recommended.

This book is the second book in the Amanda Roberts series. It sees the return of both Amanda and Lisa and a few other characters from the first book, along with a few new faces. I’ll start with the characters. Throughout both books I felt myself having a love-hate relationship with both MCs. This is a testament to the author’s brilliance. She paints people as complex, with good points and flaws. They do both good and bad, causing the reader to have mixed feelings. Next, the plot. I found myself lost in the mystery of it. I really wanted to find out who was messing with these women. The author did a great job of showing the people it could be but not giving up too much info. The ending. Plot-wise, the ending was great. I felt very satisfied in the end. Overall, I would recommend this author and this book in a heartbeat. I place her up the with John Sandford and John Grisham, and I will be reading more of her work.

Although some reviewers said it is not neccessary to read the first book in the series (You Know What You Did), I strongly suggest to buy and read it first. Lisa has been trying so hard to destroy the life and career of Amanda, partially succeeding in that. Now her career has skyrocketed, while Amanda has to somehow recover from the blow. What they both don't know is that there is someone else (the third author?) who is trying to create problems for them both. The scenario is nice and rather boring at the same time. Nice because the plot is even more entangled now with three rivals, boring because the idea is basically the same as in the first book - jaleousy and competition between the authors. Also I found the end of the book rather unrealistic (the making up of Amanda and Lisa, especially after all they did against each other). ANyway it was a lot of fun to read, I give it 5 stars just like I did for the first book)

This is the second book I have read by this author, (and plan to read more)
Her style immediately pulls you into the story right from the start, and this book, uses an interesting dynamic of alternating chapters between one main character and another, (with the mysterious guilty party popping up in between.)
The only problem I had, however, was that I could not feel any connection to these characters and therefore did not feel all that invested in the story. I wanted to feel some sense of connection, of caring for them and wanting the best outcome, but without that connection, I honestly could not feel invested in either of them. Their personalities also seemed too similar, with the same style of thought process, despite the alternating chapters from their point of view.
To me, they came across as cold and without much emotion. Despite that, this book deserves this five-star rating as her ability to weave a dynamic story is impressive.

This is part two in the Amanda Roberts tale and managed to surpass the first book which is no mean feat! Part 2 was an intense and thrilling read with a few unexpected reveals throughout. The author skillfully builds on part 1, bringing back previous characters and weaving the story line seamlessly into the present with some new twists along the way.

Amanda's character is a mysterious one, is she over thinking or is her intuition spot on? Is she paranoid or should she watch her back? She grapples with previous trauma to try to make sense of her current world which is not always easy to navigate. The plot effortlessly weaves its way to a strong conclusion (and the subtle clues are there if you are looking for them).

I like the authors writing style and the way she carefully crafts her stories. I will be reading more of Laura Lyndhurst for sure!

What Else Did You Do is the sequel to You Know What You Did. I really enjoyed this book! While I also enjoyed the first one, this book was a step up in pacing and intrigue, leaving the reader guessing who was stalking the two main characters. Although I did guess the culprit, the motive was still a surprise, and the reveal felt satisfying.

I liked that Amanda, the main character from the first book, got significant character development. At the same time, while we got to know Lisa much better, she remained the same at her core. It was a good balance between being true to who they were in the first book and getting more in depth.

I would read a third book if there ever is one. I can see the potential for a third story for Amanda with shady characters in the background and an ex-husband that is truly a piece of work!

A brilliant sequel

Amanda has now finished her incarceration but it’s not long when she finds herself in trouble again. Lisa, the woman whose, book Amanda had nicked in the first story is now experiencing the high life. But she soon finds her life in danger and it all points to Amanda. But could there be a third person who is out for them both? This is what we try to find out as we get immersed in a thrilling cat and mouse page turner that ups the suspense and keeps you guessing until the final end. As I have come to expect from the author, Laura Lyndhurst she is the queen of twists and there are quite a few other of them in store for us in this book. It comes to a satisfying conclusion but I can’t help thinking there must be more in store for Amanda and Lisa.

Having read the first book in the series – I Know What You Did – I was keen to jump back into this psychological thriller. The premise of book 1 is intriguing – a famous author, Amanda Roberts, being targeted by an unknown who seems to have it in for her, big time. Book 2 picks up her story after everything in in her life – her marriage, her career, her sanity – has gone very wrong. It appears that the problems haven’t gone away as Amanda seeks to rebuild her shattered life.

This sequel was as enjoyable as the first. It’s pacy, intriguing, and well-written. The characters are developed further – especially Amanda, and we find out more about her nemesis in book 1 – and there are surprises around every corner.

A super read!

What Else Did You Do by Laura Lyndhurst is a psychological suspense thriller and sequel to You Know What You Did. Almost every adult character is a suspect at some point in this deliciously complex, but easy to follow, brilliantly and lovingly narrated, whodunnit/crime story. I thought I’d solved it, decided I was wrong, and was then kept guessing to the end.
We have some favourite characters from the prequel and some deep and complex additions - creating depth to the plot.
This novel appeals equally as a mystery, as it does a psychological.
I absolutely love this book, love this author, and her work. Highly recommended and dead cool!

This is a very well-written novel about two writers' ongoing relationship - well, it's more than that, but it's a whodunit thriller and I don't want to give it away. I recommend reading the first one, You Know What You Did, first, but both are excellent and this one builds on the first perfectly. I love the development of the characters and how we get inside their heads with the changing point of view. Well done!

What Else Did You Do is the perfect sequel to You Know What You Did in which Amanda Roberts goes to prison. Now she's out after 3 years for good behavior with an ankle tag. The police are after her for unfortunate events that plague her rival once Amanda steps outside the prison gate.

It's not Amanda harming Lisa, so who could it be? This is a brilliant psychological thriller, which had me on the edge of my seat to the very end. Highest recommendation.

I was gripped so much by this book that I read it in two sittings.
Beautifully written with a thrilling plot that left me gob smacked when the real villain was revealed.
You will need to read the first book to this two-part series, before reading this one.
I highly recommend that you do!

A dark and tricky little tale of subterfuge and misdirection that highlights the deviousness of the author’s mind, this is one book that will keep you up at night reading “just one more chapter” until you reach the shocking conclusion.

Read it on KU. Its a good book, has much influence, One aspect I particularly enjoyed about this book was the way it explored themes of trust, betrayal, and the consequences of one's actions. The moral dilemmas faced by the characters added another layer of complexity to the story, making it more than just a thrilling read. plot is well-paced, filled with suspenseful moments and unexpected revelations. Roberts skillfully weaves together multiple storylines, maintaining a balance between character development, mystery, and action. While the book offers an enthralling reading experience, there were moments when the pacing felt slightly uneven. Some sections seemed rushed. A few facts could be worked on, but kudos to the author, I think she will also be able to write good humourous book. Overall, It is an enthralling novel that combines suspense, mystery, and thought-provoking themes. Amanda Roberts' storytelling prowess and well-crafted plot make this book a must-read for fans of the genre. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an immersive and thrilling reading experience.
