I used this guide to plan and walk Hadrian's Wall Path. I carried my own gear and camped 5 nights out of 9 in campsites. I liked the separate map booklet, and was able to follow the guide without any major difficulties, largely due to excellent way marking. There were times when the wording of directions was ambiguous. There was about the right amount of information on the points and places of interest along the way. The biggest failing was the absence of information on opportunities to pick up supplies. There were almost none, which made camping tricky. Be warned!
