A freebie from Chirp. Ghost stories (for the most part) from an old dramatized radio broadcast called The Weird Circle. Each story was introduced by Vincent Price (super creepy).
The Wooden Ghost A 300 year long dead man loves and wants to marry Rose and hear her say she loved him to set him free
The Murder of the Little Pig A famous inspector explains to a journalist how he solved the murder of a jeweler called the "Little Pig"
Mad Monkton Ada loves Alfred Monkton but he needed to go away. He released her from their engagement. He was plagued by his uncle's ghost who simply wanted to be put to rest
The Last Days of a Condemned Man A man condemned to death saw accused men who had been killed on the guillotine. He was innocent but his own family didn’t recognize him.
The Burial of Roger Melvin A story of two wounded and lost rangers after an Indian attack. The younger left the older one to find help promising he’d return. Fear of dying if he returned caused him to break his promise telling others that he buried him.
The Fatal Love Potion An evil man gives a blind woman a potion supposedly to make the man she loves fall in love with her. Nothing works out quite as intended

Collection of old radio shows. The first 10 are from the uniformly excellent The Whistler (5 stars) and thesecond 10 are an uneven selection of Weird Circle episodes (3 stars).

I enjoyed this collection of radio shows! Found randomly on Libby. Weird Circle over The Whistler, but both are solid. Super fun to hear these!

Audio book from Chirp. Wonderful for car rides. The Whistler Knows . . . clever, short mysteries from the golden age of radio, along with commercials from the same time. Fatima cigarettes, etc.
