They are brought together in their braininess, their quick wit and their passion for escaping their mundane worlds. After spending time together they decide to run away from school and their familial responsibilities.
What happens when two hearts beat as one but family obligations threaten to separate them?
So the premise behind Bad Prince is great, but I could not get past how terrible the writing style is. It is a poor attempt at YA writing done by someone who sounds 3 times their age while simultaneously having the complexity of a 5th grade story writing assignment.
I am sorry if this is cruel, but if anyone has a recommendation for a book with a similar plot and better execution, please drop in the comments...
I got this book on stuff your Kindle Day, and tbh I expected more. It all went by way too fast, and you didn't have a chance to connect with the characters or experience any of the events. If there had been more detail, the book could've been 300 pages. The emotions didn't feel real, and the constant guessing "is she/he hiding something" was just annoying. Sorry, but this book was not for me.
Royal boy gets in trouble and is sent to Alaska for his schooling. Little does he know that his mom is going to drop the news that he is to be betrothed upon graduation.
Royal girl is sent to an all girls school in Alaska to continue her education. She rebels the most she can given her situation and falls quickly for a cute boy from the neighboring all boys school.
Neither know about the other being Royal as their identities are hidden for their safety. They have an instant connection and the rest is history.
Honestly it's 2 stars because I had a laugh. This was in the world of its own kinda silly. Who would stop 2 people in travel age at the airport? I'll tell you who wouldn't. Airport security. Honestly I am all for whirlwind romance but wth. And also the Anne of Green Gables kinda language. Are you looking at boys?! Shocking! Make sure not to show your ankles. Sorry but this was just funny.
Worst yet this is my introduction to this writer. I don't even want to take risks by reading other titles.
An enjoyable, quick, and easy read. I did find myself wanting more from the book though. I feel like I didn't get a chance to bond with either of the characters and found myself guessing the ending real quickly.
Overall, I enjoyed it and would recommend it! Again, a nice little read in between my more heavy reads!
This book was good until the last chapter where it just fell flat, very fluffy predictable…I knew about halfway in how this was going to end so it ruined that for me.
