Here I am, I’m the President of The Sinners Motorcycle Club. I’m one of the youngest Presidents around. I was chosen to run this club. Why you ask? Because I’m the man that gets things done. The man people turn to for help. I’m a leader and everyone knows it.My best friend and Brother died protecting me and his last words were to make sure I looked after his woman, Sophia. Sophia’s like a thorn in my side. She’s more work than I bargained for. She was supposed to stay home and go on with her life, but no, every time I turn my back, she’s heading back to the Blood Brothers Clubhouse, where my brother Tracker was a member. I get it, I do, she wants to savior the memory of him, but that’s not a life for her. She’s smart, beautiful even, she could make something of herself. But she won’t listen to me, instead she continues to disobey me.I’m forced to drag her to my home where I can keep an eye on her. This is a promise that I want to keep. I owe my brother that much. But something shifts inside of me, and I must be crazy for wanting her. Because I do and my God, I need her. Something I wasn’t planning.
This is the first book in the Sinners MC and its story centers around Tate who is the President of the club and Sophia who is his best friend and brother’s widow. When he died, he wanted Tate to look after his wife. Tate is dealing with grief and loyalty that he feels for his brother and he figured that Sophia would just go home. When she doesn’t, he moves her in to keep her close and as time passes the forced proximity and chemistry bring them close.
This was a very emotional story and it is a very good start to this new series.
This is the first in a new series, and this is Tate and Sophia’s story. Tate is the president of the Sinners MC, and when his brother and best friend dies protecting him, his last words are to protect his woman, Sophia. Tate assumed that Sophia would go home, grieve, and move on with her life, but she is stubborn, and keeps showing up at the club, so he moves her into his home to keep her close. This is a well written raw, gritty, slow burn story, with family, friendships, emotions, loss, grief, romance suspense, forced proximity, loyalty, humour, healing, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
This is a raw, gritty, and fiercely emotional masterpiece about loyalty, grief, and the terrifying moment you realize the hardest promise to keep is the one you can't fight.
Page turning from the start, I can’t wait for more.
