Kasia is a Polish princess who has defied her father and finds herself in quite the predicament. But as she attempts to fix the situation James enters the scenario and vows to protect her.
This story was easy to read and very enjoyable.

This is the 3rd book in this series but it can be read as a standalone. Kasia runs to avoid marrying the man her father has chosen for her. James is a billionaire who was planning on rescuing Kasia before she took matters into her own hands. However, he still plans on making her his. Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and sizzling scenes. Entertaining and steamy. I liked it.

James! I’d been looking forward to his story when we first meet him in an earlier book and it was everything I’d been hoping for and more. The story opens great as we meet Kasia and then it just keeps getting better and better with each tap of the page. Their relationship development, all the secondary characters, the story—all of it—and I will also tease that their smexy times is downright delicious. Seriously, if you like dark, mafia romances, then you definitely want to dive into this series—each one is different but together, oh-so-good. Sara Fields’ Mine to Take is another great addition to this series and it’s currently my fave.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing. I love how this book, as well as all the other books in this series, are just a continuation of the big story. They start were the previous book leaves off so readers will get to know these characters and see them throughout the series. James Monroe has more money and power than most men and he knows how to use it to get what he wants. After helping his friend Cyrus rescue his girlfriend, Mila. James finds a room with girls being prepared to be auctioned off. One girl stands out in particular. Kasia Poplawski is the daughter of a powerful family in Poland. After not agreeing to an arranged marriage, Kasia's father sent her to be auctioned off to the highest bidder. Kasia's only goal was to get back to her home but James had other plans. He knew as soon as he saw her that he would never let her go and would do anything to protect her.
James, like Cyrus and Jon, tended to lean towards punishments to get women in their lives on the right track. Naughty punishments that only a select few women can withstand. Kasia is one of those women. Like most women, she did not know this about her herself and had to come to grips with the enjoyment that she got from being punished. In her head, she knew fundamentally she should not like this but her body told a different story. This book it HOT. Sara knows how to take readers to the edge and get them comfortable with the uncomfortable situations. I love the stories that she brings and can't wait to read more.

A riveting read, totally captivating as a Polish Princess’s life is sold off by her Bratva beast of a father
Kisin has held her mother in her arms as she watched her take her final breaths and the murderer had been a paid assassin, her father had then tried to marry her off to a Polish Bratva but she had run so he had simply paid for her so be shipped out and sold off to who ever was prepared to pay her price.
Trafficked through several countries in the back of a lorry with other women that had been beaten and were half starved, all knew they were going to be sold off by the Russian Bratva to only god know who and so Kisin had taken out her guard.
James Monroe had found out about the women and had come to rescue them from the hell he was sure they were living, imagine his surprise when he discovered one tiny female choking the life out of the guard. He instantly knew she was his woman and that he would do whatever it takes to keep her safe, she had other ideas and wanted to run and she did.
James had discovered where his little hellion had disappeared to and had been waiting to teach her a valuable lesson and she would learn that there are some men that you can rely on, that will keep their promise and that will do whatever it takes.
However, the bravery that this woman shows him as well as the vulnerable side of herself after all she has been through humbles him and for the first time he is able to talk about his sister and the man that murdered her when he had been a young boy.
You will not be able to put this book down until you reach the end and I guarantee you will be totally blown away by the two main characters.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

This was a fantastic book that held me captivated right up till the very end. Kasia Poplawski father is a mob kingpin who has arranged for his daughters marriage to to a Russian mobster but before it happens her mother and she escapes but it isn’t long till her father finds them and kills her mother and tells his men to give his daughter to the Russians to be auctioned off to the highest bidder. James Monroe is a very wealthy and powerful businessman who is helping his best friend Cyrus save his girlfriend Mila from the Russians and while this is happening he noticed other females being held for auction but of them catches his eye and takes her for himself and when he learns she is the daughter of a Powerful mob kingpin and he knows he cannot let her go. Kasia just wants to go home but what will her father do if she turns up she is not sure after he killed her mother and threw her away like trash but will James let her leave she doesn’t think so and when he punishes her for trying she is shocked to discover that that her body is enjoying his firm hand and his naughty punishments and so is she because nobody has ever treated her the way James did but there is more to him and the way he is protective of her which is something new to her and has her changing her mind about the man himself. Can James keep her safe from her father and will Kasia want to stay with James with his heavy hand and his rules in the end or not.

Only her father found them then murdered her mother and sold her to the Russian mob with orders to sell her to the highest bidder along with other trafficked women. She is a fiesty, spirited, independent and fierce woman who won't go down easily.
James is very wealthy and knows lots of influential people some upstanding and others on the outside of the law. When he and his men go to rescue the trafficked women he discovers a beautiful woman taking down an enormous guard. He is drawn to her and wants to protect her but she has other plans.
Their storyline has danger, suspense, drama, sexy steamy scenes and so much more.

Kasia Poplawski father was Polish mafia. Unfortunately, he was also scum. He had an arranged marriage set for Kasia but she wasn’t having it. His lesson to her, give her to the Russians. But Kasia is a fighter and her mother trained her well. James Monroe was a wealth man. He worked with Jon Moretti. When he went to help Moretti rescue his girl Mila, he sure didn’t expect to find a firecracker taking control. She had fire in her. He knew she was temptation beyond anything and he was going to have her. If you read “Mine to Hold,” you knew about Moretti and Mila. You also got a taste of Kasia and James. We now get to find out if these two will burn as hot as the other two couples. I love that we get to meet the prior couples again. James is very protective of Kasia. For her, she is stubborn and can take care of herself. I love that she is a strong woman and is able to handle all these men. We also have a new player, Sergei. I look forward to reading about him.

What a fantastic read
Firstly I’ve got to say I am a huge fan of Sara fields and I cannot believe that I’ve missed the first two books in the series. But I will be going back and getting them. No more about this story
Kasia is the daughter of the Polish mob kingpin and she is not impressed when he arranges to marry her off so she makes a run for it. Her father is not happy so to teacher her a lesson he sells her off. It’s such a good thing tha Kasia is a Fighter because she needs all of her strength and sassiness to get through it. But thankfully she meets James. James is Go away with the beauty that is in front of him the strong sassy lady and he knows he’s going to make her his. He will do everything in his power to protect her and show her that she can rely on him. This is one passionate read and you will be on the edge of your seat it’s a really dark read at times but honestly you’re not gonna be able to put it down. Another fantastic read from Sara fields.

This is a good dark mafia romance between James & Kasia. Kasia is a Polish mafia princess who is sold into marriage by her father, escapes and is rescued by James. James feels instant attraction, possessiveness and the need to protect Kasia at all costs. When Kasia runs, he chases and captures her, and fully intends to keep her. I love how he proceeds to introduce her to a variety of new things and pushes her sexual boundaries. I enjoyed how Kasia’s character has an internal debate on whether to stay and be protected by James or to leave James and seek revenge on her father. If you love dark kinky romance then this is the book for you. I loved these characters and enjoyed reading this book. This story was another great addition to the “Kept as His” series. What an amazing book this turned out to be and as always Sara Fields writes another amazing novel!
Kasia was in hiding with her mother, but stuff happened (read to find out), and she was taken by her father and trafficked overseas, where she and some other girls are saved by James, who falls for Kasia after she unlived someone in front of him. Kasia isn’t used to men being protective of her, meanwhile, James just wants to wrap her up in bubble wrap to keep her safe from everyone else.
After picking this book up, I had to know what was going to happen next, so in a couple of hours, this book was read. Also, keep in mind that this is a dark romance, so mind your triggers.

What an amazing book this turned out to be and as always Sara Fields writes another amazing novel!
Kasia was in hiding with her mother, but stuff happened (read to find out), and she was taken by her father and trafficked overseas, where she and some other girls are saved by James, who falls for Kasia after she unlived someone in front of him. Kasia isn’t used to men being protective of her, meanwhile, James just wants to wrap her up in bubble wrap to keep her safe from everyone else.
After picking this book up, I had to know what was going to happen next, so in a couple of hours, this book was read. Also, keep in mind that this is a dark romance, so mind your triggers.

This was only my second book by Sara Fields and I already plan on reading the first two books that came before Mine to Take. The book follows a billionaire who rescues one tough mafia princess, who hasn't been treated like a princess. I really enjoyed how this book started and we get to find out just how strong Kasia is. Kasia gives James a hard time at first and of course has trouble trusting anyone, but James won't let her go. He knows how to make sure she stays, and it involves a lot of spanking and praise. The book is smutty but has a plot too. Kasia's father is coming for her, and she doesn't just want to stand behind James. James will do anything to keep Kasia safe and he enlist a few friends two of which have their own books. Check triggers before reading.

What will James do once he finds Kasia? Can she deal with his punishments? Can James really keep her safe from The Russian Bratva and her father?
Another good story in the series. Loves seeing the characters from the first two books make an appearance.

Not my cup of tea
I tried to like this book. But I just couldn’t. I’m all in with the domestic discipline. But it’s full stop with humiliation. That’s were the honest D/s relationship ends for me. And I will never see a woman as strong or brave who is ok with being humiliated. A “Queen” should never tolerate humiliation and a true “King” would never subjugate his Queen to it as it makes him look weak & domineering not Dominant. The story was decent & well written. Although if these punishments were as hard as it was depicted i worry this woman would likely be in the hospital with permanent injury. That is another strike against the H as he is not concerned with actually injuring his partner. And his aftercare was lacking. I like how the author snuck in Sergei from Stolen Vows. Take out the humiliation and this would have been a 4.5 star rating.

Ireally liked the third book of this series. Yes, I said liked, not loved. The h in this story Kasia, she came off as strong in the beginning I love how powerful she was and the way she escaped his clutches the first time had me laughing out loud. However, once she was in his hands she was pure putty. I feel like based off of my original introduction of her she should have given him more defiance throughout. Or resistance. She was simply dripping wet all day and night if he even looked at her.
I will say…. The plane ticket in the end did have me in stitches. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

She just killed a Bravata soldier 3x her size!
Who was this tiny woman. How does she know how to kill a man. James watched her as she strung up the Bravata soldier. She was mine but she didn’t know it yet. Kasia had one mission to kill her father who the head of the polish mob. “She is going to be hard to keep” James thought! Kasia is the perfect match for James since they both are sensual people. I think this is one of the best mafia books Sara has written. Her writing makes the characters jump out at you, so you can see them. She takes a normal mafia abduction and shapes it into a great romance. This book has lots of spanking and rough loving. If you have triggers like this this isn’t the book for you.

Kasia will manage to escape from her capturers, but she also draws the attention of a very powerful man. James Monroe is rich and powerful. He can buy anything or anyone he wants, but he is absolutely opposed to sex trafficking and takes steps to stop it anytime he can, he never expected to have to chase down the young woman he is trying to save.
Absolutely fascinating characters that are very well written. Sizzling hot and sexy read with lots of BDSM and an interesting twist. This is a deliciously carnal must read that I recommend to other readers of this genre. Whew, so hot, I highly recommend this book.

This is a wonderful dark mafia series, in which Sara Fields excels in writing. The book starts with a bang with Kasia's rescue by James and his men. Kasia felt that she didn't need to be rescued as she was doing a good job rescuing herself. James, of course, disagreed. From there on, James works to ensure that Kasia knows she is his and that he will do what he needs to keep her. This is a hot and se*y romance with plenty of discipline included. I enjoyed meeting our two previous couples and now there is a new dominant on the horizon, Sergei.

After reading the first two books in this series I was excited to read James and Kasia seriously intense story and WOW I definitely wasn’t disappointed…

Kasia is the daughter of a Polish mafia kingpin and when she openly defies him, he ships her off like cattle to USA. James is trying to help a friend out when he storms the warehouse where Kasia and a bunch of other girls are being held and he is intrigued by this slight girl who seems to be able to hold her own. But that doesn’t stop him from wanting to care and protect her which causes a whole string of issues as they try to figure each other out. I think I enjoyed the ending the most (not the very end but beforehand) but I can’t say why without spoilers. Just know that Kasia is truly a force of Nature when she needs to be.

Worthless of a book. What is with authors romanticising abuse. The hero spanks her in the hotel room then lifts her dress up so the whole hotel lobby can see her red ass. Gets her naked in front of his driver, parades her naked in his whole house, spanks and fucks her ass with his fingers brutally in the changing room. Beats her with his belt and in all this the girl keeps getting wet for him. The last scene he whips her with his belt then fucks her ass for the first time so cruelly he keeps pleading stop but he doesnt listen. She has welt marks all over her body from the whipping and still he took her ass if this is not abuse i dnt know what is. Horrible book.

All three books of this series deliver. They are tangentially interconnected with each book focusing on one couple. There are story arcs that complement the smutty relationship “development.” Full of dubious consent and BDSM elements, be aware of strong triggering components. These stories do not mirror real life - while the FMCs all hate to love the rough dominance and (let’s face it) dubious consented sex, no real life female would fall for their attackers as these women do. As for anal sex, again, no relation to safety can be found on these pages so do not reenact these scenes but practice safe anal and impact play instead.
