This was a beautiful YA romance book. I loved the way Anthony pursued Michelle and really courted her. It was pretty clear early on these two had a mutual crush on each other. I loved Michelle’s story; it was raw and sad at times but she had a strong mindset and a good tribe behind her. I enjoyed the sports aspect and the drama that happens in high school. It was just enough to keep the story flowing. I really enjoyed this book & this was my first read from this author. ❤️

I told yall im tryna read more YA and this was soooo cute. I loved Michelle she was really ray charles to the bs i wish i was this mature in hs because ms.eve would have gotten a lot more. Then it was Anthony and he was so in love with shelly and it was so freaking cute! The little gf proposal was so sweet! I love how he was really there for shelly through any and everything. I was a little annoyed with the fact that he ghosted her in the beginning but he definitely made up for it. It was really short and sweet. plus i was so glad shelly went to therapy because she has been through a lot!
