My daughter was over the moon when I brought home #19 for The Kingdom of Wrenly. And this one did NOT disappoint her, especially with the creature being reptilian. She legitimately squealed and clapped through much of this book and it was just so refreshing to see her so excited over a book. She loves to read, she just isn't typically THIS visibly excited when we are reading.
We loved this one, especially the themes of respect and trustworthiness that ran through this adventure. Now, we wait on #20 to be released.
Read aloud to R & J. Joseph: I think it was amazing. I liked when Clara, Ruskin, and Prince Lucas got the necklaces because they saved the gnomes home.
Amanda: cute book. Bezel was adorable. I love the cover art on this book! Can't wait for the next one!

My 9 year old daughter may just be out growing this series but she said this was her least favorite of the series. She wishes the two main characters were also growing up like her. She also felt the mystery was more childish than some of the others. She gives this 3 stars.
