It’s Dangerous to Go Alone During an Apocalypse: System Interface Day 1

Rate this book
The apocalypse begins not with a bang or a whimper, but with a bleep and a strange blue box. This is a story about what happens in one small corner of one small city when the world ends.

The apocalypse just began, the power is out, and there’s a zombie at the school bus stop. The kids are due home soon, the wife is stranded over in the next town, and there are literally monsters in the closet. What’s a software engineer going to do?

All characters and events in this story – even those based on real people and places – are entirely fictional.

If you’re a gamer and you like to read, you will probably enjoy this story.

If you accept the theorem that we may be living in a simulation, then everything in this story is scientifically plausible.

A bit random but good

Not a serious story by any measure; this book is filled with scify and fantasy references, dad jokes, and cliches. It isnt anything serious or emotionally charged. It is a light hearted comedy where everyone dies and the points don't matter. I will definitely read the next one if a sequel is published.
