Ophelia
My father is a pathological liar, so when he tells me I’m in danger, I don’t believe him. Until a burly biker turns up on my doorstep. It’s been years since I last saw Brewer, but those feelings I had for him are still there. That doesn’t mean I have to do what he says.

As always in the last book we get a glimpse of what is to come for the next one and this time we are getting Brewer's story.
To be honest he did not make much of an impact so far in this series, but he truly stepped up to the top MMC of the Manchester boys. He gets called by his former prison cellmate and is asked to return a favor, the favor? Protect his daughter that is being threatened because he killed someone on the inside and needs to have her safe.
Brewer aka Madden agrees as he knows Ophelia and spent the time, she visited her father in prison getting to know her slowly and she left a massive impact in his life though they have not seen or talked in 6 years since he got out of prison.
Now why did he go to prison in the first place? Well, you see his sister was married to a man who was abusing her, and he beat him up after finding him hitting her and got put in prison for it but honestly fuck that system because he was protecting his sister and defending her from the abuse.
Anyways back to the present and we find out Ophelia knows about her father’s warning but does not take it seriously as she barely trusts him and feels like it’s a ploy to get her to visit him again. Sadly, though it's real and the threats are worse than we know. The enemy gang is a bigger deal than she realizes and even Brewer realizes. He gets there on time before she is taken by then, but this leads to horrific events that happen off page.
Ophelia's best friend and neighbor is raped, tortured, and killed during the same night. Her body dumped in front of the clubhouse, and this is truly so horrific. I couldn't stomach it since she was innocent and never deserved this to happen to her. Ophelia is traumatized and angry and wishes for revenge which the club will give.
We are shown that the enemy club is not to be messed with or underestimated as they have more power than the former clubs the guys have dealt with. Brewer gets taken and is beaten to a pulp and held against his will and the assholes wants Ophelia to come and end it and she agrees but she allows the club to get a plan ready so she can get in and get Brewer and get some of the guys killed which works.
This book to me was more focused on plot and the problems surrounding the club. The romance was not the main focus and despite how much Brewer and Ophelia were in love we did not get much of a push for them as it was established quite early on about them. They did have amazing steamy scenes and they are madly in love. I’m glad Ophelia finally put her father in his place and let him know about how he fucked everyone up because of his selfish actions.
However not everything can be fixed when Trick (another member of the club) and Mara (his very pregnant wife) are gunned down while getting Brewer out of the hospital and this leads to sadly Mara dying instantly but the baby is saved (she was 8 months pregnant).
The book ends with Mara's funeral and Trick wanting revenge and nothing to do with his baby girl who everyone is taking care of while he figures out and comes home.
The next book is going to be about Wren (Brewer's sister) and her fling with Hawk the nomad member, but it will be parallel to the events of this book. We will not be getting Trick's book for a while, but I cannot wait to have his story and I have a feeling him his FMC will be Heidi (the widow of the club who is mainly taking care of his daughter. She was married to Crow who we never met but know he died years ago). They will probably bond over trauma and the loss of their spouses.
I love the Sons series which ever series but this has been the most gut wrenching book of them all, I’m in shock. Brewer is so protective of Ophelia and she of him, her no mark of a dad put them in a position that leads to the devastation that affects ever club member, some deeper than others.
5 star much anticipated read for the next book in this series. The author did not disappoint. This can be read as a standalone but there are some dark violent scenes and I have to admit I cried at one part. Brewer aka Madden has to do everything he can to save his love ophelia but by doing so has started a war with one of the clubs biggest enemies. Gripping tale and I cannot wait for the next one x
"You're mine, Madden Kelley." "I'm yours," he agrees.
4.5 stars!
Jessica Ames has done it again! I think this is one of her more daring and heartbreaking books yet as so much happens--especially towards the end--but I enjoyed the surprises she continually weaves into her stories. The chemistry and connection between Madden and Ophelia was fantastic; I loved how they didn't overpower the story as the Untamed Sons now face dangers from new enemies and fight to protect their own. Overall, I continue to obsess and love the heck out of this series, and I am so stoked to see how the rest of the story plays out!

Excellent read, absolutely loved Brewer and Ophelia’s story ❤️❤️❤️ full of action and chaos. Some sad loses of life. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is book four in the Manchester Chapter Untamed Sons MC series. Please check Trigger Warnings before reading as there are some dark themes. This book is a fast-paced romance that surrounds the MMC who first met The FMC in a prison. She was visiting her father which was the MMC's cellmate. The story is based around the MMC who is asked to protect the FMC from harm. This story was a good read. If dark romance and MC Clubs interest you, then check out this story.
When Brewer get a call that Ophelia is in trouble, he goes to protect her, much to her annoyance, but it also puts the club in trouble too, can Brewer keep ophelia and his club safe? Well written, action, drama, desires and more.

This series is killing me! There are so many smaller stories and side characters beside the main characters, Madden and Ophelia, and this author keeps you involved in all of it. I really like Madden or Brewer as he’s known to his club. He’s such a good guy that has had so much heaped on him. You’d think after all he’s gone through that he’d be unfeeling and jaded but he’s not. He still is a standup guy…a little harder than he once was…but still willing to go out on a limb for people he cares about. Ophelia hasn’t had an easy time of it either. Her dad has put both himself and her in a bad position, luckily Brewer is willing to help. Love these two and love that we get to visit with old friends. Parts of the book absolutely gutted me but I was happy to see that there might be a happy ending for some…wow I hope there’s a happy ending. Bring on the next book!.

Triggers: Mention of rape and abuse; Attempted rape; Torture; Emotional Trauma; Murder; Gun violence; Attempted kidnapping; Attempted Murder
I wanted to start this review off with these trigger warnings because this seems to be a consistent theme throughout this series. But this book, specifically, is pretty high on the emotional trauma aspect (mainly for us readers). So, prepare yourself.
Now, I am a definite mood reader, as well as someone who reads to escape the monotony and negatives of real life. So, I usually need to be in the mood and very aware of what I’m getting into when I read books that show things like the aforementioned triggers.
That said, I really enjoyed the first two books in this series. The third book kinda wobbled for me. This one? I wished I had stopped while I was ahead. And when I say this, it has nothing to do with the author’s writing. Or, I guess it does. But because of just how intensely well they wrote it, as opposed to bad writing and/or grammatical errors. Which is what makes writing this review and rating this book so hard. I don’t tend to like rating on how I personally feel, because everyone feels differently. But this one had me not able to sleep, staring at the ceiling until 6am.
I was excited for the concept of Brewer and Ophelia. A second chance novel that was really a first chance they never got to have. I loved everything about the couple themselves. I especially appreciated how, for once, the FMC had not been raped or forced into sexual acts like the FMC’s had in the first three books. At some point, it does become too much mentally. You know?
But this book was probably the most brutal out of the four I read. It was gut wrenching to read but it also didn’t really make sense to me when compared to the previous books. I had been reading this series of the tough, international MC group. Full of men with a code and who can and would do anything to protect their families. But this book suddenly had it where they were, essentially, too weak or short sighted to actually do anything that they did in the previous books when they needed to. I understand there will always be someone more powerful, but there was a disconnect there for me.
One, if you know these bad guys are after someone who they saw with another person, that person should’ve been brought also. That would have been the first main difference. Two, I don’t think they would have realistically walked into a trap based on what I learned from them in the previous books. It screamed trap and I’m not a MC member used to looking over my shoulder, like they are. So, he wouldn’t have been taken and tortured and ended up in the hospital. Three, I don’t think they would’ve realistically let one person, a pregnant person, and an injured person go anywhere by themselves in this situation. Especially considering how much they were freaking out about their families earlier on. And despite why it was explained that the pregnant doctor was let out of safety, they could have legit just lied and said he was jumped and he doesn’t know by who so he could go to the hospital. It was 100% unnecessary for her to go to “get him in”.
To me, most of this book seemed like a continuity error in direct relation to the first three books.
Then the ending. It didn’t feel like there was much of one. This book was about Brewer and Ophelia and the ending pretty much didn’t focus on them at all, but the horrifying turn of events (which are quite literally the reason why I don’t think I will keep reading the series). This book’s plot seems to have no resolution and an overarching plot, whereas the previous three books did have their own plots and resolutions. Which makes sense, in a way. But, the main couple should have still had somewhat of a resolution (other than a funeral) that focused on them seeing as it was their book. What we got was basically trauma and “the end”. And like I said, unrealistic trauma that shouldn’t have happened, in my opinion.
The author’s writing is undoubtedly amazing. It wouldn’t have been such an emotional end otherwise. Especially considering how we never solely focused on Mara, yet I was so emotionally impacted (and the only reason why I am mentioning her is because from book one-four you’ll know Trick and Mara are together…and if you look at the books in the series you’ll see a book for him). But this book kind of missed the landing for me, at least towards the end.
I really enjoyed how we finally got to see the MMC’s background (and family) more than we did in the other books. Brewer was a pleasant surprise with how adamant he wanted to protect everyone he cared about, even if he was doing it on his own. Especially since we didn’t get to see him much in previous books, it seems. Though, there were definitely some things that he (and everyone else) did in this book that made me go “huh?”
I really don’t know if it was a continuity error or if the author was really trying to make it seem like complacency and family made the club lose their edge. Or if the author didn’t really know where to go/knew where they wanted to go but not how to get there, I guess (though what little I’ve seen of Heidi, it was not worth doing Mara that way). But, at the risk of repeating myself, the club just did not match what they were like in the previous books. Especially since they apparently only have like 15 members but the previous books made it seem like so much more. And men! Why wouldn’t they just ask for help from the other chapters?! I digress.
5 ⭐️ writing style 3.5 ⭐️ plot 2 ⭐️ execution
I loved the potential but the “huh?” moments, the brutal last chapters, and the ending (that to me doesn’t seem like much of an ending) have me thinking this may just be the end of the road for me and the Untamed Sons Manchester Chapter. Unless I go back and reread Howler and Blackjack one day (and honestly, I just might once I forget about Mara).

BREWER is the four instalment in Jessica Ames’ contemporary adult UNTAMED SONS MC MANCHESTER erotic, dark, MC romance series. This is Untamed Sons MC treasurer Madden ‘Brewer’ Kelley, and Ophelia Morris’ story line. BREWER can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.
WARNING: Due to the nature of the story line premise there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Ophelia and Brewer) BREWER focuses on the protection of our story line heroine. Several years earlier Madden Kelley beat the man who was abusing his sister but Madden bided his time in prison, fantasizing about Ophelia Morris, his cell mates’ daughter. Fast forward to present day wherein Madden, now known as Brewer, gets a call from the prison, his former cell mates’ daughter has been targeted for her father’s sin. Enter Ophelia Morris, and the woman with whom Brewer will fall in love. As Brewer and the Untamed Sons MC struggle to protect our story line heroine, including killing anyone who takes aim at Ophelia Morris, retaliation is deadly and swift, placing the Untamed Sons MC at with the Dudley Pioneers MC. What ensues is the quick building relationship between Ophelia and Brewer, and the fall-out as innocent lives are lost in the fight for vengeance between warring MCs.
Madden ‘Brewer’ Kelley served his sentence to protect his sister but never expected to come face to face with his prison fantasy. A call from Ophelia’s father reveals a target on our heroine’s back, and Jeff Morris calls in a debt to protect his only child.Ophelia Morris knew nothing of her father’s life behind bars, and hadn’t seen or spoken to the man in several years but a call warning her that her life was in danger pulls Ophelia into a life she knows nothing about. Finding herself in the arms of the man she has fantasized about for several years means falling for a man who has placed his life and the life of his brothers in the direct line of fire.
The relationship between Ophelia and Brewer started years before when Brewer first met Ophelia when our heroine was a teen. Trying to separate Ophelia from the life he will always lead, Brewer kept his distance until the payment of a debt meant pulling Ophelia into a life from which she may never return. Falling for Ophelia is easy, claiming her the right thing to do but protecting Ophelia is dangerous and deadly for everyone concerned. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and provocative.
There is a large ensemble cast of colorful, energetic and dangeros secondary and supporting characters most of whom we have met in previous instalments . We are introduced to Ophelia’s best friend Farrah; Ophelia’s father Jeff Morris, as well as Brewer’s sister Serenity aka Wren, and nomad biker Hawk. Wren and Hawk’s story line is next.
BREWER is a quick read; a fast paced story of family, relationships, death and destruction, madness and mayhem, love and acceptance. The premise is dark, gritty, and heart breaking; the romance is impassioned; the characters are dangerous and determined.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This is a dark MC romance. You need to heed the warnings in the beginning of the book. It will contain triggers for some readers. This is the story of Brewer and Ophelia. Madden is a very protective person when it comes to his family weather it be blood related or his MC family. When his brother in law was abusing his sister he made sure that that would never ever happen again and landed in prison. In prison he had a cellmate Jeff. However now he is out and has joined the Untamed Sons and live has been really good. He takes care of the money side of things for the club and loves his new family and what he does. But when Jeff calls telling him his daughter is in danger he needs to protect the girl that meant more to him when she visited her father than he was willing to admit. Ophelia has had to look out for herself since she was young. Her father wasn't much of a father since he was always caught up in the business he was doing and he landed in prison. The man reason she went to see her dad was because she got to see Madden. But now her fathers dealing have landed on her front step and are putting her in danger. A rival gang is after her and since they can't go to her father they are coming to her. Will Brewer be able to protect her like he needs to? Will they lose their hearts to each other in the process? You have to read to find out but I loved this book. It will keep you on the edge of your seat!!
It’s a day after finishing and I still have a major book hangover and can’t stop tearing up every time I think about the events in this book. This book was phenomenally heartwarming with the instant love between two people who met while visiting family in prison and quickly became friends. But also tragic and tear inducing and heartbreaking. Jessica Ames can seriously write an MC world book that literally pulls you in and holds you captive while giving you every single emotion possible.
This is Ophelia and Madden’s (aka Brewer) story and wow was it one heck of a ride. Ophelia and Madden met when she was visiting her father in prison and well he was in prison too and was visiting with his sister Wren at the time. But when he gets out he joins the Untamed Sons knowing he’s not good for her so stays away. Until he gets a call from his ex cell mate and is asked to protect her. When Ophelia’s dad calls to warn her that her life is in danger she blows him off because he’s nothing but a lying deadbeat….but when Madden shows up and everything starts to falls apart….except what’s heating up between them, she knows her father wasn’t wrong or lying this time. But she also knows it’s all his fault.
Jessica will have you heartbroken and crying ugly tears in this one when tragedy suddenly strikes once again for the Untamed Sons. And all I’m going to say about it is that I truly hope there is a book in the future where him (not Madden or Ophelia) and the woman caring for Sophia gets their HEA and I really hope they find it in each others arms. They so dearly deserve it. We also get a glimpse into the next book in series and I seriously can’t wait for Hawk and Wren’s story. They are also two individuals who desperately need a HEA even if it’s a rough ride getting there. This is definitely one MC series I highly recommend because it’s one of my top 5 favorites. A must read for sure.
His life was good, he had his own garage and was doing well, until the day he went to his sister’s house and heard yelling and found his nephew hiding. Then all best were off, he never did like his sister’s husband and now he really didn’t. Madden now had to face his consequences and hope that his sister and her kids would be okay while he did the time for the crime. When he gets out his life is unsettled, until he meets the president of the Untamed Sons MC, Manchester. Then his life is back on track and he’s the treasurer for the club.
Ophelia’s life has been chaotic and lonely for years. Her father chose the life of crime instead of taking care of his daughter and being there for her. She only sees him when she goes to the prison to see him. After years of this, she’s tired of make time for him, he didn’t consider her before he went to prison. When she gets a call from him and he tells her she’s in danger due to something he did in prison, she brushes him off and goes about her life, until she can no longer ignore the danger.
I really liked this story. It’s full of action, danger, twists, and tragedy. As always, the Untamed Sons MC characters are great! When Brewer gets a call from his old cell mate, she knows that he owes the guy and he wants to see Ophelia again, but he’s not prepared for the what happens next. His actions have put not only him, but his entire club at risk and he’s not sure how to handle it. He’s pissed that his old cell mate lied to him, even if it was by omission. Now there’s more danger lurking for Ophelia as well as the Untamed Sons. I look forward to more books in this series and more books by Jessica Ames period. I love her characters and her writing and I give this book a 4-star review.
Brewer reconnects with Ophelia when he father warns him that she is in danger. A rival gang is plotting revenge and Ophelia is caught in the crosshairs. Brewer and Ophelia had known each other while Brewer was in jail, as Ophelia often visited her father. They built a connection, and the looming danger reunites them.
Ophelia is badass. While she has not grown up in the MC life, she proves she has the strength and courage to speak her mind and to look out for others. Yet this strength also comes from a harrowing event that cuts deep, and she is pulled through the wringer when it happens.
Madden/Brewer has always looks after his sister and her family, and kept an eye on Ophelia during her visits. He then fully embraces his role of a protector when he hears she’s in danger. While he doesn’t want Ophelia to worry about MC business, he does respect her enough to inform her about things.
Indeed the two of them are like soulmates as time and distance did not break any connection between them. I liked reading how their connection began and where they end up in the story.
Fair warning though, this story is bitter sweet. We get to revisit many of the couples and MC family previously introduced. The author takes her time illustrating just how close everyone is and the emotional impact they have in another. A heartbreaking event does occur in this one, hence the bittersweet ending. In some ways, this book feels like it leaves more on a cliff than others as we eagerly anticipate what will happen next for the MC. We need Hawk’s book asap!
Brewer and Ophelia share an attraction to each other at the beginning of this one, but unfortunately, neither of them were able to act upon it. So, in a way, this is a second chance story.
I adore this club, and always appreciate the way the brotherhood cares for the ones important to them. Howler and Blackjack have provided a safe place for their families to live - until now.
Ophelia (through no fault of her own) draws this chapter of the Untamed Sons into a war... where things go from bad to worse. Brewer does his best to protect her from the dangers following her. I could not stop reading this, and read straight through. It is really a roller coaster ride of emotions that had me on edge the entire last half of the book.
I will not spoil your read, but I absolutely loved Ophelia's strength and determination. In the same breath, I tell you that I absolutely hated the last few chapters! Hated! So emotional! (I cannot believe what happened! When you know, you'll know, and agree with me. Promise.)
I appreciate this author's creativity and craftsmanship in delivering an MC club so easy to connect with, and enjoy. For the best reading experience, read in the correct order. I leave this one eagerly awaiting the next in this series, and thoroughly entertained.

This is an exciting action packed MC romance story. Madden sees his sister and her kids stop by the garage his nephew loves to help him in the garage. When Wren asks him for thirty dollars to buy something her kids need.He asks if her worthless old man isn't working again .He tells his nephew that he can come help him on the weekend. As he goes and get a hundred dollars to help his sister she says I said thirty he says use it I know it will help .As he gets closer he sees a bruise on his sisters face he is seeing red he tells the kids to go inside an ask for some candy. When he sees more bruises he's about to lose it but she tells him to stay out of her business. After they leave he sees his receptionist she has a worn teddy bear he had bought wren when she was born now her daughter loves it so he decides to take it to his sisters house when he hears screaming he goes around the house as he enters the kitchen his niece is crying then he hears a whisper Madden its his nephew hiding under the desk.He hears his sister whimper an rushes in to see her old man kicking her in the stomach.there are so many twists and turns to this story you will be riveted until the very last page.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi Talented author.this story of Brewer and Ophelia is special.a story everyone should read.
Brewer finds him doing a bid in prison after beating the hell out of his sister's abusive husband, and that's where he comes face to face with Ophelia for the first time as she's the daughter of his cellmate. He ends up patching into the Untamed Sons MC Manchester Chapter after he gets out, and his life is good. He gets a call from former cellmate because that man needs help protecting his daughter, Ophelia, and since Brewer owes Jeff (former cellmate) a favor so he agrees. That sets him on a dangerous path since Jeff messed with the wrong people, and now the whole club is in the crosshairs (it would have happened anyway without that situation at some point). The good news was these two are perfect for each other with all their intense chemistry that led to serious heat, but things escalate for them with the group of people after them. It had me on the edge of my seat as the danger & twists started coming in hot, not to mention decimated my heart at one point (still not over that), and there's no resolution to it all so I'm on pins & needles waiting on the next book because that group of despicable people needs to be put down. And now I'm calling it quits with this review by saying I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "BREWER" OMG!!! Buckle up for one action packed intense dark drama, so much danger, violence, intrigue, angst, suspense, steam, twists that have glued to your seat you can't put down. Madden "BREWER" Kelly is the money man for Untamed Sons MC he takes illegal money & makes it legal he served his sentence in prison protecting his sister, he gets a call from his cellmate telling him his daughter Ophelia is in grave danger, no choice he agrees to help her. Ophelipia Morris's father is a pathological liar when he tells her she's in danger she doesn't believe him until a burly hiker shows up on her door step its been years since she's seen Brewer & her old feelings for him are still there he's not the same man she once knew the word no isn't in his vocabulary like he's not use to hearing it, he's the only man who can protect her from her father's enemies. I definitely recommend to get this phenominally well written story watching Brewer & Ophelia struggle to stay alive, the Untamed Sons & Brewer do everything to protect her, killing anyone who trys to take her out, will they get a HEA in the end its a must read book to see ehat happens. PHENOMINAL DARK MC ROMANCE 🖤 🖤 🖤 🖤 🖤
What can I say, I simply fell in love with Brewer. Yeah, he’s a hard nosed biker to the core, but he’s also got a soft spot when it comes to family, both chosen and by blood. He found the Untamed Sons after he spent time in prison for defending his sister. The club gave him a family and purpose which he sorely needed. He’s determined to stay away from prison time troubles but will defend his brothers and family until his very last breath. So when his old cellmate calls, needing him to protect his daughter, Ophelia, from some people he wronged, Brewer agrees. Little does he know Ophelia is being hunted by the club's rival mc. A club that has no problem hurting the innocent to get what they want. To top it off, it’s been years since he’s seen the young girl that would visit her dad in prison. Ophelia is now a gorgeous independant woman and their attraction to one another is off the charts.
Can love grow while trouble and mayhem surrounds Brewer, Ophelia and the Untamed Sons? This is an action packed thrilling read that this reader couldn’t put down. I highly recommend grabbing it up asap. You won’t regret it.
Brewer met Ophelia through her father. He was in prison with Jeff and she was visiting. Step forward 6 years. He is out and now a MC member. She lives alone, refuses to have anything to do with her father and then, he calls, tells her she is in grave danger and she ignores him. Scoffing at his call places her in the firing line, literally, and Brewer has been asked to keep her safe. A rival club comes into the Untamed Sons territory and war is declared. Violence, murder, threats and more is now well established as the clubs each seek retribution. This all rests on Jeff and his dirty dealings. Ophelia brought this to the club and watching your back is frightening, but the end is not in sight. There is a bonus episode where Ophelia visits her father to tell him to stop contacting her..this issue had been rumbling throughout the story. Would it have ended if she had simply changed to using a phone that was untraceable..yes possibly the answer, but then there would be no story as she would have been found and murdered.

If you're looking for a quicker, but still dark and gritty MC read, Brewer has exactly what you're looking for. The story is a super smexy instalove with a great storyline and non-stop action from page one. Brewer has a marker pulled from his old cell mate looking to protect his daughter from some guys who are bad news. Ophelia doesn't want anything from her dad, but when trouble comes knocking she's willing to accept help from the super handsome man she remembers from visits when she was younger. I absolutely loved Brewer. He's a super protective guy who is willing to go the extra mile for those he loves. Great read with some jaw dropping twists you won't see coming! Can't wait for the next book!
Brewer is the 4th book in the Manchester Chapter of the Untamed Sons MC and can be read as a standalone, but best enjoyed when read in series order. It is told from first person, dual perspective.
I love this series and have really engaged and bought in to all the characters which is why this book is quite the emotional sledgehammer. Be warned you will cry!
Less dark in lots of ways than others in the series (much less descriptive of the trigger elements than we have seen in the previous books) this book nevertheless doesn’t shy away from the shock factor and the author isn’t afraid to take the storyline to places you wouldn’t expect.
Very instalove but with grit, the romance part of this book is really well written and there is a softness to this story because of this, though there is of course violence and mayhem to get your teeth into also.
The book (I think) sets up a more long lasting underlying story which it feels like will carry on for at least the next book or more, I like this in a series and look forward to seeing where the author will take us.
A fab read and again we see how the brothers of the mc pull together to protect their own.

Madden/Brewer always tried to look after his sister but when he found out she had been beaten by her husband he knew he was not doing a good job. When he ends up in jail for making his brother-in-law see the error of his ways, it is the first time he sees Ophelia. She is too good for him and deserves better, which is why he never looked her up. When her father calls him from jail, he calls in his favor for saving him, she is trouble.
Little does he know that one call him and club in hot water with the Dudley Pioneers. He stay away from her for six years since he got out, he does not have the strength to walk away. It is up to Untamed Sons to keep all the ladies safe with this new threat.
Some may find this trigger for some of the subject matter in the story. I really liked Brewer, life handed him some crap, he got put away for doing the right thing. Ophelia was just what he needed and deserved.

Peace doesn't last and it doesn't come easy. Brewer never thought his old cell mate would call in the marker he owes. He didn't think he would have cared if it didn't involve Jeff's daughter Ophelia. He was hooked on her the moment they met. But a visitor's room at the prison is no place to spark a romance. Six years later and Madden is now Brewer and a member of the Untamed Sons. He doesn't hesitate to seek out the woman of his dreams and keep her safe. Only things are darker than they seemed. Now they are embroiled in a war with a powerful syndicate that doesn't follow the unspoken rule of leaving innocents; women and children out of harms way. This story broke my heart, cried in a couple spots. I loved Brewer and Ophelia from the start. They are a perfect match, regardless of how they got back together. Ophelia is so strong, old lady material all the way. She is fiercely protective of him, he is hers and she is his. I cannot wait to see what the next book brings but I'm going to need the bruises on my heart to heal in the meantime.
Oh god I mean seriously! How on earth do i write a review on a book that pretty much destroyed me emotionally but is also totally brilliant because of its rawness and ability to explore situations and circumstances that we find difficult. I have loved every single book regardless of the chapter it’s based on. Yes I admit that part of it could well be because it’s set in England and for once isn’t a mess of words and phrases that we don’t use here and is also full of words spelt the right way! Controversial I know lol Basically and without spoilers because trust me you absolutely have to read this book, it’s the next installment of the Manchester chapter and people are out for blood. It’s exhilarating, fast paced and heartbreaking. I honestly can’t say anything else because I need to go and lie down so I can come to terms with what I’ve just read. 100% recommend and though I’m in need of counselling I can’t wait for the next book.

The Untamed Sons Manchester chapter stories keep getting darker, and I just love it! Brewer and Ophelia's story is gritty, raw, and full of action and emotions. And it's an outstanding age gap. These two have scorching chemistry. But don't be a fool, Ophelia is feisty and a badass even when Brewer sweeps in to save her.
Brewer met Ophelia when she visited his dad in prison. He never forgot her. So when Ophelia's dad calls him saying he is in trouble and they are coming for Ophelia, Brewer doesn't think twice about intervening and ensuring she is safe. And she is not happy about it. There is no doubt: Brewer's protectiveness is hot as hell.
Brewer and Ophelia are meant to be. The more the story developed, the more sense it made for them to embrace destiny. This book is intense and builds upon the strength of the Untamed Sons. But as danger looms above the club, there is a promise of a wild and bloody ride in the future of this series. And I can't wait!
Shed separated herself from my father years ago. Visiting him in prison had one perk but after his cellmate was released and his father hadn't changed his ways it was time to cut any ties. Until the man, she still thought of showed up with a message she refused to hear from my father.
Brewer spent his time behind bars not sorry for the reason why. His cellmate had a gorgeous daughter he'd talk to when she visited. Not that he was crazy about him as a cellmate but he did owe him for a life-saving rescue from a fight inside. The debt still held when he called Brewer because she wouldn't talk to her father. He needed to warn her. Another debt owed was gonna be paid by taking her and neither father or Brewer would stand for that.
Protecting her brought them together. Would they find more—maybe a future? Could he protect her to give them that chance?
Good characters, a storyline, steam, and an emotional read. Enjoy. Reviewed for Words Turn Me On
Brewer is Book 4 of Manchester Chapter Untamed Sons MC series. This one about gutted me. It's a steamy, dark mc romance, so PLEASE read the trigger warnings. Brewer (Madden) is the money man for the MC. He served prison time for beating the man who was assaulting his sister. Ophelia is the beautiful daughter of his former cell mate. He thought she was beautiful back then and would fantasize about her. Now, Ophelia is in danger due to her father, but she doesn't believe him. Her Dad then asks Brewer to protect her, and he agrees. These two have great chemistry, but a lot of bad stuff happens in this book, largely due to Ophelia's father. Can Brewer keep her safe? This was a great fast-paced read, but for me, a gut-wrenching tear jerker. My heart broke for Trick, among other things. I am looking forward to the next installment to see how this plays out.

Brewer As the money man of the Manchester chapter of the Untamed Sons Motorcycle Club, my job is simple; make the illegal income and don’t get caught. I have a good life in the Sons, an easy one. I don’t have time for a woman or drama. But when my former cell mate calls and tells me his daughter is in trouble I respond.
Ophelia My father is a pathological liar, so when he tells me I’m in danger, I don’t believe him. Until a burly biker turns up on the doorstep. It’s been years since I last saw Brewer, but those feelings that I had for him are still there. But that doesn’t mean I have to do what he says.
The books was fabulous and the characters were great. The storyline was great and kept me sucked in throughout and I read it in one day. Jessica Ames is a fabulous author and if your looking for a motorcycle club books I would highly recommend you read these books.
