It was well-written and easy for me to understand. It captured me like love at first sight. I read it in one sitting on a long flight. I can't wait for more.
I felt like there was no build up to the romance. It just suddenly happened, and the characters felt a bit stiff. They didn’t draw me in or feel substantial. There were a few moments in the book that almost had some action/suspense/conflict but fell flat. I felt that the issues that arose were too easily resolved. I almost DNFed it, but I only had a few pages left. On the plus side, it’s an easy read with simple sentences.
