If you want something with Fae, Dragons, and and a Vampire, stop what you're doing and pick up this novella.
Now at I was pretty confused on who was who and who was what until I clarified with the author, overall I praise JL for portraying vampire abilities at the core. I love anything vampire and the details I was able to visualize every single scene in my head.
I absolutely loved the bound with the Dragon, Melisande, and Zalirah. The 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 was on fire.
Great job, JL! Loved this and I need you to hurry up the series. Ok thanks bye .
Amazing book, it has vampires dragons, fae, warlocks, fated mates, sapphic love interests, adventure violence but not too gory and even some spice I loved this book and can't wait to read more
Ok I loved this so much. This was short but still packed a lot of action in its 78 pages! There’s just enough information to get you hooked and interested in the story but you finish wanting more. Also it’s sapphic and there are dragons and it is very open door!
So can't wait if the amazing author does a second book of this breathtaking steamy novel. So much depth can be witnessed from our leading characters and leaves you spellbound with anticipation. Keep fingers crossed 🤞 for a 2nd book.
I absolutely loved this novella! I want more from this world and these characters already! It really pulled me in, despite being a novella. I felt so invested in every one of our characters.
I desperately need one character in particular to get a happy ending too 💔💔💔
I’m happy to finally have read this novella! It is a super quick read which is what I needed to help me through a slump I’m in. I think this is the perfect book for those who do not care for super long novels and/or want to read a super dynamic story before the end of the year.
There are dragons, fae, witches, and vampires within this world making it true fantasy at its core. It is also incredibly sapphic, and spicy for those who are spice fans. Melisande and Zaleria also have a rocky beginning with elements that set them up as foes, despite their fates.
I do wish this had been a bit longer actually to flesh out these characters and their backstories a bit more. Since it is a novella we are thrust into this world and romantic elements quickly with little prelude and not a lot unfolding over a period of time. This is a big story back into few pages but I think it still works since it is heavy on atmosphere and vibes. I could picture the scenery and world so clearly which I always enjoy. I also appreciated the hint of angst from past relationships/situationships that unfolded poorly because of that fated aspect.
I usually like books and short stories with dragons or vampires but the insta-love in this one was a little to strong/quick. The main character found out very quickly that she was reincarnated and it didn't feel like it had much leadup or hints. Upon not being controlled by a spell, the main character falls in love with her love interest pretty much instantly and have sex only a few pages later. Their relationship could have had much more enemies to lovers since that is where they started. All in all it felt like a story that should have been much longer and developed than it was.

This was a great fast paced read. It’s a nice cleanser for when you’re between books, want some fantasy, but you also want some spice. Vampires. Dragons. Fae and SAPPHIC! This was a great little read. Would actually love more like this from this author
I definitely preferred Spellbound to Dragonbound as it was much more my pace! This one follows more directly with Amalia, and a new character who I will not spoil anything about. However I will say I liked their dynamic and how their stories tie together. I think it is a great fit for Amalia since she is so tough and isolated by choice.
There is also tons of scenes with Melisandre and Zaleria, they are not put on the back burner and are involved in every movement of the plot. Which does work since the larger story requires them but still allows for another character to take place within the plot.
There are still witches, dragons, vampires, fae and more, as well as some stakes that do seem higher this time around. We also get more development for the characters with themselves and each other so that was something I enjoyed.
It is also still sapphic, and spicy! I will of course be recommending this one as well.
