5 Stars!! 🥰🥰 Loved it!! ❤️❤️Perfect Novella by AH from her Calluvia’s side series. Highly recommended to all fans of AH. My only complaint, it’s too short, wish it was longer. 😍

Troy is a pleasure servant but he’s never served a man, preferring to top. He can’t refuse his current offer to serve a man because he’s a high ranking master.
Hoping to get fired sooner rather than later but before that can happen he discovers although it’s humiliating, the pleasure is there and it only gets better until he’s begging for it.
Super short, so don’t expect much other than the smut. Of course it’s AH so you know it’s OTT.
Entertaining enough.

Main complaint: it was too short 😅
Actually, I think it might be my only complaint.
It takes place somewhere between book 3 and 4 of the “Calluvian Royals” series (after Castien became Grandmaster, but before he and Eridan became a couple).
It’s the story of Troy, a “pleasure servant”, whose newest client is a Master. Only problem: while trained to serve both men and women, he’s never been with a man before. And he’s a top, or so he thinks.
While the “work relationship” starts, ofc, with sex, it quickly becomes more, on both sides.
I liked it, a lot. A shame the story and the characters weren’t as fleshed out as it could have been in a full-length book, but as it is, it’s a nice novella with a short Eridan-cameo.
Not recommended to be read as a standalone, unless you’re only here for the smut 😜

edit 1/30/24: past me was clearly jaded but also kinda right….i mean does andreas have a personality??? probs but we don’t get to see it💀 troy is little better, the only thing ik about him is that he’s an exclusive top, except when it comes to andreas and then he’s a massive bottom slut, i swear not a single thought of topping crosses his mind after the first time they fuck🤣🤣 i did love that andreas remembers that troy feels like he can’t say no to masters and made sure not to pressure him🥺 although he did it in a way that does not scream “i care about u and want to be with u and only u” like he thought it did😭🤣 bc bitch how tf was troy supposed to figure that out from “u wanna change careers with this job i lined up for u, which will prematurely end ur contract with me” lmfaooo bruh needs to work on his game fr🤧 soooo were both troy and andreas sorta giving nothing??? mmm yes, but they were also giving sex addicts and that’s enough for me to enjoy and up from 3 stars to 4 stars purely on vibes….speaking of sex addicts, the steamy scenes were, indeed, giving (just not as much as a full lengther would obvi) so idk what i was talking bout…..must have been in hater mode🥰

Soooooo cute and hot and lovely.
And.... I've officially read all of Alessandra Hazard's backlist. I don't know what to do with myself, I'm so sad. I so hope she's still planning a Masters spinoff series, because I'm not ready to leave Calluvia. Such a fascinating world! I'm really curious to see what other types of telepathy there are, and I'm really curious to get to know the other Masters a bit more.
BUT in the meantime I guess I can do a re-read, or nine (and I might have to start with the Wrong Alpha series where I first met my beloved Ksar <3)
And.... I've officially read all of Alessandra Hazard's backlist. I don't know what to do with myself, I'm so sad. 3,5 'intriguing' stars
This is my first book by Alessandra Hazzard. I found it on my Kindle, I think it was free once. Anyway, I haven't checked if it's part of the series (it is) and I thought it's contemporay (it's not). Despite knowing nothing about this world, I wasn't lost too much, lol, since it's mostly smut with very little plot.
Surprisingly, I become really invested in Troy and Master Andreas' relationship, considering everything happened very insta and Andreas practicaly had zero personality. The only major let down was low steam. I mean, for a pwp novella I expected hotter sex.

I was a total fan of this and not a fan at all. Always a weird combo.

Enjoyable short in the same vein as the rest of this series. The twist at the end with the Master trying to make the relationship have less of a power imbalance felt weirdly out of place, but it was fine.

a win for me. very short but it needed to be because i didn’t like the sci fi of this at all. the telepathy and the secret order and all that was not fun for me. but i do love when alessandra writes such possessive characters. girl does it so well

I loved every second, which is 100% because Alessandra Hazard puts crack in her books.
This was short, the characters were in the "sketch" phase and never really showed much personality, we got virtually no backstory for the love interest to actually feel like a person to us and it was still really good.
I really want that elusive second Masters book now!

This was wild, set in a bizarre world, and unlike anything I’ve ever read. The heat was high. Like through the roof. And I didn’t hate it. Because the emotions and affections were also through the roof. Once again, Alessandra sucked me right into this story with a hurting, touch-starved MC. From the second I started reading, I needed Troy to find a loving partner and a happy ending. Thank goodness he did.

I do hope AH continues with this new series soon, as I love Calluvia, and I'm not ready to say goodbye. This could have been a full-length novel and easily the first of the series, but it does make me excited for more books to come.

Ha estado bien porque se te explica un poco más sobre el mundo de Calluvia y los grandes sacerdotes. Sin embargo, no me he sentido cómoda con los protagonistas, lo he sentido todo muy forzado. En fin, ha estado decente, ha sido una lectura para pasar el rato, pero tampoco lo considero el libro del año.
