Well, what a strange reading pleasure ... um, not. I'm trying to find something like a middle ground rating for the book, it's not bad, but it's really not good either, hence the three stars, if I wanted to be mean I'd tear it to shreds, but I'm trying to find some good words:
First of all, my compliments to the author for so many pages for a sugar daddy story, I think it takes a lot to find so many words that are really well written.
The characters are very well developed, Remi and Dimitrios fit together wonderfully and it's all believable how they treat each other. They are really adorable together.
The supporting characters are also well chosen and the plot is simple but well done.
If you have a total fable for omegaverse sex and Daddy/boy dynamic, then this book is probably perfect. Because the sex scenes were all really well done and super hot and there were plenty of them.

And of course the last chapter had to end in a slight cliffhanger and be exciting to boot. But I remain adamant, because I don't want to read any more of it, no way ...
I have rarely skipped so many parts of a book. I have to speed read in my job and grasp things without really reading into the text and that's a technique I used here, even though I hate it, but this book bored me to death. You are constantly presented with the same scenes to read twice, just from a different narrative perspective. And the text itself is so minimally detailed that as a reader you feel a bit stultified. I mean, if someone gets into an elevator to go to the lowest floor, I don't need to know how every step is done and which button is pressed and all that ... I'm not stupid, I have something like fantasy, that's why I read books!
Yes and also the sex scenes are repetitive in nature and could only fill a fraction of my brain with attention.
So, I have to do an annoying analysis now and actually finishing this book should motivate me because reading it should be an advance reward for having to spend the rest of the day doing boring annoying stuff. Now I have to use my frustration as a motivator, not so good. 🥴

Remi Laroche, a financially struggling college student, loses his job when the cafe he works at suddenly shuts down. He's dealing with a messy breakup with an ex who doesn't seem to take no for an answer, and with his bills coming up + winter, he needs to find another job fast. A friend suggests he sign up for a sugar baby match service. He doesn't want to, but he finds that as his situation gets worse, he has nothing to lose. He's fiercely independent and finds that this will allow him to get financial security without getting into another relationship with an Alpha.

Dimitrios Cirillo is a workaholic and the CEO of a famous and influential tech company, and due to his intense work schedule, he hasn't had a chance to get off recently. He wants to have sex but does not want a relationship. He decides to sign up for the sugar baby/daddy agency, the perfect solution to his situation. He can provide for an omega, and in exchange, he will get regular sex with any of the issues that come with a relationship.

However, as they get to know one another, their relationship starts to shift into something more than just sex or money.

Overall, I really enjoyed this series. I wanted to start from book one, but I don’t do well with cliffhangers and decided to wait until it was completed, and it was worth the wait.

If you read Jett’s work before, you know what to expect. It’s very much a relationship forced, and we get very, very sugary, sweet, and hot moments between Remi and Dimi. While there are external and some internal issues between the two as their relationship grows from being Sugar Baby and Daddy.
I love seeing how independent Remi was outside in his life and work, but with Dimi, he was able to be submissive and let go.

Their sexual compatibility and chemistry were off the charts. We get lots of sex scenes between the two. While there’s a growing romance, Jett made sure to make this book super spicy - seriously, the plot is secondary to the smut. Some of the scenes can get repetitive, especially across three books, but honestly, it was no issue for me personally; I enjoyed each and every one of them. I also loved the long heat scenes! Thank you, Jett.

Also, there was a fair amount of kink (Daddy, praise, bondage, orgasm denials, lingerie, etc), nothing extreme, but Dimitrios is a Daddy and a pleasure Dom. Dimitrios became more and more possessive of Remi, so I liked seeing that as well.

It took a while for both of them to get on the same page regarding their feelings; everyone but them could see it. However, once they do, it’s perfect!

This series is long! I think each book is, on average, 500 pages; now, did it need to be that long? No, but at the same time, I am a glutton. If I like something, I want more of it. I’m a massive fan of the omegaverse world that Jett has created. They give me so much of the things I enjoy in this subgenre. So, the length did not bother me; I was really engrossed and invested in their relationship.

Jett has a particular narrative style, and if you read their books before you know what to expect, but for some readers I know this won’t be for them. I’ve mentioned it before, but there are some head-hopping and mid-page switches of character POVs which can be an issue.

Overall, I really enjoyed this series and am glad that I read it. Honestly, I’ve read every book by Jett so far and need more! Can’t wait to see what is next from this author.

600 page sugar daddy book? Sign me up.

Except, it's not 600 pages of story. It's line spacing formatted to that everything is super spaced out. It's superfluous information. It's rehashing the same information over and over (Remi is cold, Dimitrios is horny). It's taking the time to type out every phone call conversation to the sugar agency. It's typing out an itemized kink list so it takes up two pages. It's composing emails that take up 3/4 of a page. It's having the gd hold message for the agency pop up not just once, but twice. It's each POV having to give their own view of events, even if that means jumping back a whole day.

I was worried that the POVs would start jumping back and forth from one paragraph to the next, like with the last Jett Masterson book I read. That wasn't an issue for the first 90 pages, but that's also because our MCs do not meet until 90 pages in. And once they do, oh boy, it's just headjumping nonstop. This is clearly not an author for me, so it's time to move on to greener pastures.

This did exactly what I needed it to do, which was be a 3-star book. I chipped away at this over a month whenever I was feeling tired or lazy, which has been unfortunately often as I'm in some sort of book slump. I've already loaned the sequel to do the same.

The reason this was perfect is basically a summary of its flaws: it's way too long, tremendously repetitive, scenes are re-hashed from both perspectives, it's about 70% sex scenes (keeping in mind this is a 530 page book, so that is a lot of sex), and pretty much 0 angst.

Basically, book candy.

I do say 0 angst, and it is, but I was very annoyed that this ended on a cliffhanger which forced me to loan the 600-page sequel immediately - yes, I was planning on doing this anyway but still - and read the first 2 chapters. I hate cliffhangers.

5 stars. This was a lot of my favorite kinks and tropes rolled into one book and I loved it. That ending left me anxious for book two. I’m going to be all over that as soon as it drops. Did it need to be 500+ pages? No. Is it repetitive? Yes. Did I care about either of those things. Nope. I devoured this book. Remi is adorable as hell but he takes no shit from no one and Dimitrios was so loving and dominate. They were perfect for each other. I liked the writing and some of the side characters were great as well. This was such a fun read and I plan on reading everything Jett Masterson has out while I wait on the sequel to this. Fingers crossed that it’s not too long of a wait.

You know what, I really appreciated how straightforward this book is. You 100% get what you paid for: an extremely steamy omegaverse sugar baby/daddy smutfest. That was exactly what I wanted, and it was what I got. No hidden agendas, very little unnecessary drama or angst. It was a long book, which I didn't mind, because even though there was no plot to speak of, it was almost soothing to just read about a tiny omega getting regular railed by a rich, sexy alpha. If this is the vibe for the rest of the trilogy, I am in.

Too much information. The author went way and beyond in describing every single step the characters took. The only thing missing was when they flushed the toilet 😅
And it was so repetitive. My guess is that if you deleted all the repetitive paragraphs only half of the book remained.
Nothing much happened in the book so far, except for some classic school drama in the end.
There is almost no world building, most of the action takes place at the apartment or school and no character development. I know, it's the first book and all but really nothing changes through the entire story, they remain exactly the same.
That's why, because of all the above by the middle of the book the story felt boring, predictable and I wanted badly to skip pages...

This is easily a 4.5+ star story, if the writing was a bit more concentrated. I love Remi and Dimitrios. I loved how they met, all their time together, this instant attraction but kind of slow burn of becoming more than surface-level. And the spice is out of this world hot. The writing does unfortunately take away from all that.

There is no fade to black. Ever. You have to endure every scene through both POV, and sometimes twice. If Remi is at school and Dimi is at work, you have to read both sides of their entire day until they meet back up. If they interact at all in that time, you have to read it twice from both POVs. Even when they were signing up for the Sugar Daddy/Baby program, you had to go through the interview process with each person. You even had to read the hold music on the phone twice. It was… a lot. Perhaps that’s this author’s preferred way to write, but it’s definitely a style that will turn a lot of readers away.

I will push through however because I do really enjoy the characters, even the side characters, and I want to see the whole story play out.

I also want to address that this is my first omegaverse book and I’ll admit I really had no idea what I was getting myself into. It took a bit to get acclimated to the terms and backgrounds and all that, but I really wound up enjoying it.

The dynamic and the omegaverse is interesting but after 40% I started skimming the book.

Remove at least 300 pages of that book, condense some scenes and it will be a masterpiece.
I’m super intrigued of book 2 because of the cliffhanger at the end, so I’ll skim book 2 but I don’t expect much.

Unfortunate addition to the DNF list for me. The concept is good and even though I don’t typically read omegaverse I didn’t mind it.

My problem with this book has nothing to do with tropes or storyline and everything to do with the fact that somehow the author managed to write 500 pages of this. Some of which is just text exchanges copied over for the other mmcs perspective. Why copy and paste text exchanges? A simple “when we texted earlier and this is what I thought” would suffice. It boggles my mind how this book is 500 pages and the second book is 100 pages LONGER. I’ve never been so confused and I think that’s simply because I’m annoyed by the writing choices and started getting bored about halfway through.

I really wanted to like this book (and finish the trilogy) because, like I said, sugar baby omegaverse romance? Sure, why not, sign me up. But 1100 pages across two books (not including the third) is ludicrous.

Dimitrios, a very wealthy CEO of a High Tech company in New York. Remi Laroche is a 21 year old Culinary Arts Student in New York, he wants to open his own restaurant one day.

Demitrios is a workaholic who spends most of his time dealing with Financial matters at the company, but he wants to be in the Research and Development of new products. For the first few pages I thought it was too wordy, but very soon it grabbed my attention and it was a page turner. There is a good back story for each of the MC’s and there are some side characters who add to the story.

Then ‘hot dang’ I’m left hanging on a cliff!!!!!!!!!!!!' I need to go find Book 2 immediately and read more by Jett Masterson.

This read kept me thoroughly entertained until about halfway through, then it became insanely repetitive. There were personal things I didn’t love about this book, mostly the use of “daddy” fucking constantly, but overall I had fun with it.

In my opinion, the dual POVs were confusing and unnecessary. We were switching every paragraph for no reason and restating the same thing over and over again. I don’t need the same conversations and scenarios constantly repeated in different POVs.

Also, I did not need to be told 300 times that these two people are made for each other sexually. I GET IT! SHUT UP ABOUT IT!

I did enjoy how much Demitrios longed for Remi. I feel like we usually see a cold personality with this type of character but from the get go it’s obvious that he cares for and adores him. He was never embarrassed to be seen with him and made sure he was always taken care of. Loved!

All in all, I would have enjoyed this read much more if it wasn’t 500+ pages long. It could have easily been condensed. The sex scenes were fun, sexy, and entertaining. I will most definitely be picking up the second book but just hope it isn’t the same repetitive bullshit that bored me in this one.

I really loved Remi and Dimitrios. Both perspectives were really enjoyable to read. For a couple that aren't dating they sure are dating JAJAJJ they just care so much about each other and they know what the other needs just by a look. I know it ended with Remi exploding and I really can’t wait to see how Dimi helps him put himself back together.

All the best friends were great. They were character reliefs but instead of for intense situations, they were there for us to have smut breaks jAJAJ.

The Cade and omega group drama was annoying. Just because Cade is handsome doesn’t mean he needs a following and also doesn't mean that the girls have the right to bully whoever he likes. So annoying and for no reason.

This was 100% PWP, except I'm not 100% sure what happened in this book. It both confused me and hooked me, I don’t really know or understand it. The writing style really reminded me of fanfiction or maybe since I've only read omegaverse in fanfiction, I kept going back to that thought. Also how some things were written and formatted was not my favorite.

Loved the characters and storyline, did not love all the repetition and writing style.
I appreciate when a romance doesn’t give the overused and tired 80%-mark breakup, which this book did not do. These characters are growing, but they act like adults and the relationship is still in its precious beginnings of discovery. The book is sweet, kinky, and could easily be reduced by half.

This is a trilogy that follows the same couple throughout three books, each one continuing where the last one left off. MUST READ IN ORDER!

Book One: The first book was mostly introductions to the characters, their backgrounds, their friends, hobbies, personalities, and much more. We got to see both Remi and Dimitrios meet through a match making company and begin their sugar daddy x sugar baby relationship. Throughout this book, the two find themselves enjoying the other’s company more than they thought they would, having feeling they didn’t expect to experience begin to surface.

Book Two: In this book the feelings these two have for each other start to grow intensely. The two of them go through emotions that they feel like they shouldn’t be going through, especially since they’re aware the premise of their relationship is based on money and s3x. Many things happen and the two of them spend plenty of intimate time together but tension surfaces as the two of them can’t decide whether to tell the other their feelings or to keep the sugar daddy x sugar baby relationship going.

Book Three: By book three the two of them have completely fallen for the other and there’s no escaping that fact. The two of them are both unaware of the others feelings and so there’s fear, tension, and panic as the two of them try not to ruin the relationship they have but also want more from the other. After some unfortunate incident where Remi is left scared and Dimitrios on edge, things take an escalated turn.

Personal Thoughts: I’ll be honest, I loved this story so much and I gobbled it up when I read it. However, as I continued reading each book I noticed there was a lot of repetition and scenes where the story kind of felt like it was dragging on. I usually don’t mind this (since I’m known for my short term memory loss) but by the third book it became abundantly clear how often phrases or paragraphs were being reiterated over and over again. It’s still an amazing book and I loved the characters to pieces but I definitely feel like it could’ve been shortened to two books instead of three.

I really liked this book! It’s a pretty light read with not much plot going on, everyday life with lots of spice.

I’ve never read a book with a writing style like this. At first I was pretty confused by the pov hopping. Basically each time the characters are together, you are shown both povs and the pov can change as often as each paragraph or few of paragraphs, and the pov switch is not marked, you get it from context. It can be a little confusing at first, but I gotta say that I’m actually enjoying it now that I got used to it! It’s nice to see both perspectives of the same scene.

Totally recommend this book if you’d like to read something light, with two beautiful characters engaging in lots of sexy and a bit k!nky times!

My first Masterson book and I can’t wait to continue the series! I can tell the writing is great because although a majority of the work was 😳🫣🍆💦scenes, I wasn’t bored. The pov changes are definitely unusual and nothing I’ve encountered in anything I’ve read before, but I don’t mind. Maybe it’s just me, but it didn’t distract me from the story like other reviewers complained. The relationship didn’t evolve much for a much longer than I thought book, but there was plenty of feels to keep me entertained. I can understand why readers might not prefer this writing style, but I advocate for 4+ stars definitely! That cliffhanger though!!! I’m definitely reading the next one right away!!!

1st Reread: Masterson has top tier plots and the best written steamy scenes. Absolutely still love the dynamics of Dimitrios and Remi. They are just so adorable. Second book came out recently so gonna go cute that cliffhanger asap!
