I was so sad last year that this story was Patreon only. I absolutely love Bob and Sapphire's entire harem and this sounded like such a cute Christmas story. I was therefore really happy when I saw that this year the book will be released on Amazon so everyone can read it. I was even happier when I got an arc so I could already read it before the official release date.

This story is everything I had hoped it would be and even more. Watching Bob being nervous about meeting his family and watching him trying to hide how special his mates are to protect his family from a culture-shock is both endearing and heart breaking at once. I'm also really glad that eventually the moral of the story is that everyone is allowed to be whoever they are.

Since Bob asks his people to tone stuff down when it comes to the sex, the book is surprisingly lacking sex. And although I understand that some people might miss the intimate moments the author writes so well, I was quite glad that the plot, the romantic relationship between the characters and all the conflicting emotions are front and centre.

Although we spent Christmas with Bob's family every character in the harem gets their moment of fame. And I really love how the love and the intense feelings between these characters are displayed in this novella. It are small moments and relatively short moments too, but I think everyone wishes to have people like this in their lives.

This was such a fun and funny holiday story for Sapphire and her men and I loved getting more time with this fun group. Of course, we're heading into the holidays and that sure added another dimension to their relationship when they go off to meet Bob's human family that's totally unaware of all things supernatural....can you see the fun to be found inside? ;D Expect to laugh out loud as the chaos that is Sapphire creates some truly unexpected moments in this highly entertaining read.

I love these Silver Springs books they all make me laugh so much and this one was no different. I cracked up from start to the end of reading it. Christmas with Bob's family when they had no idea about all of them was a source of pitfalls that in itself was full of riotously funny situations. It was just a great read with a host of cracking characters and plenty of laughs

If a Hallmark movie was about supernaturals... And on HBO

Oh my ice cream! I love this short story! That's saying something, since I'm mildly allergic to most Xmas stories. This is a HILARIOUS adventure starring my favorite ice cream loving vampire and her hot AF harem. It's full of dirty words and a couple dirty birds. It's not a stand alone book, so I highly recommend reading all of the previous books in this amazing serious. It is a heart warming, family centered holiday tale.

I love how there is a holiday, but it's a background detail. Except for when the cats play with the tree...

Surprisingly, there are no sexytimes! Yes, there's mention of hot loving, but the only person getting nekked is Ford. He seriously needs to see an allergist!

Ok, having said that... One of my favorite things about fantasy fiction is how it can be used as a metaphor for real life issues. Feeling isolated? You might be a vampire. Feeling rejected by your family? You might be a slightly different kind of Pegasus shifter. Feel like your new in-laws hate you? You might be a werewolf. Feel like attacking an ugly Xmas sweater? You might be a cat shifter, or one of the fashion police.

Even if you don't enjoy Xmas stories, this is a cute and cuddly time. I'm looking forward to more Sapphire stories in the future!

Another perfect Silver Springs romance read, another perfect Sapphire read! Delaney delivers time and time again in these wonderful, sweet and quirky romances. Always well written, but my favorite thing about these reads with Sapphire as our main character is the quirky-ness, as well as the sweet and heat blend of romance. This book came to me just as I was mentally preparing for the Christmas season and while this is a Christmas read - I really think it can be enjoyed any time of the year! While I mentioned that Sapphire was our main character, in this book Bob - her human partner is bringing her and the rest of their family to meet his family. Notice I said human partner?!? Cause the rest of this family are not "human". What a perfect storyline as the holidays are all about family drama but also love and acceptance. A perfectly fun, holiday romance that will have you giggling and smiling all the way through!

I received this book at my request, and I voluntarily provided this review.

I'm so happy we got to see Sapphire and her men Wim, Ford, Carlyle and of cause Bob in this short Christmas tale with the Mcboberson family. I found it totally bonkers while there was a heart felt meaning to the story. You'd think a nice trip to see Bob's family would be easy right. Nope not when your a vampire and three shifters who one has to keep things pg but still has time for icecream. Two sneeze and change into a pegasus and back in the most imbarasing way possible and three think there more cat than human and jump on things by accident. And then there's Wim who's just Wim. But through all the funny moments these characters are a heart of gold. With the funny Granma Mcboberson. Brian who says he's been abducted by aliens and poor Bob's mum who likes to stress bake. When things don't go to plan. A true family worth having. And a totally enjoyable read.

I usually try to find a quote from the book O am reviewing-one that helps to showcase just how special the story is-but in true Eva Delaney fashion, I can not find a G, or really wven a OG rated quote that encompasses the absolute absurdity that happens in this hysterical addition to Sapphire’s world! lol

It is time for this crew to meet Bob’s family. You can only image what could go wrong (or right) after watching this group’s dynamics in her first three stories in the Jewel’s Cafe series.

Vampire Sapphire struggles…well, if you’ve read these books, you know that Sapphire pretty much does and says whatever she wants to. But she is finding it ‘hard’ to ‘straddle’ the Christmas McBobersons in their human world, with her magical mates.

Lots of love prevails, in every way possible, as holiday visit with this sexily silly sojourn of Sapphire’s soulmates.

Family Sapphire meets the McBobersons.
Our favorite snarky vampire meets the family of her very adorable and very human mate, Bob.
As with everything Sapphire, chaos reigns supreme. Weirdly enough, it’s wolf shifter, Wim, who seems the most normal of the lot. Ford has his issues with the allergy running amok.
This is a LOL Christmas short story from the universe of Silver Springs Library - you should not miss this laugh (beware: Do not, I repeat, DO NOT, drink or eat while reading this)
Absolutely recommended.

I love going back into the world of Silver Springs! Especially when we get to revisit familiar faces to see how they are doing. We are back with Sapphire and her mates in this holiday addition to the Jewels Cafe universe! While this may be a quick read, it was nothing short of pure entertainment with tons of laugh out loud moments and adorable character interactions. These books always put a smile on my face! I look forward to any more additions to the stories of our favorite inhabitants of Silver Springs.

Well, it's been a minute since I've had a visit with the residents of Silver Springs, but from this little nugget I'm feeling a little homesick now for it. Sapphire has always been one of my favorite residents and of course, there is Bob...if you know Bob, you know! This Christmas story not only gave me a well-needed dose of Christmas spirit, but it also had me laughing out loud and reading late into the night. I was very sad when it ended and I hope so much that we get more SS books soon because I NEED them in my life!

Sapphire: A McBoberson Christmas by Eva Delaney is another heartwarming, funny and engaging foray into this sweet family. Of course we have lots of extremely funny and unexpected moments, I mean how could we not with this group. Add to the usual chaos, we have Bob's very human, blissfully unaware family and it's a recipe for a holiday never to be forgotten. This one is a must have for Eva and this whole wonderful universe!

Family fun at Bob's house

This story sees Sapphire & her giys heading to the McBoberson farm for Christmas with Bob's family. Only one problem Bob didn't tell his family he was involved with 4 people. Or that said people were really supernatural beings. How will Sapphire keep her cool & her sex jokes to herself?

I really enjoyed this new story in Sapphire's life. I love her as a character. She's so sassy & fun.

A short fun story that will definitely get you in the Christmas spirit. It is full of laugh out loud moments. Meeting family can be interesting, but doing it when Bob's human family is unaware makes it more interesting. I enjoyed all the ways they tried to hide Ford’s shifting.I definitely recommend this fun holiday read. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Fun quick read. Imagine trying to hide your true nature and your polycule partnership when all visit the family home for an extended Christmas vacation. Odd explanations to cover a little transformation? A girlfriend who won't take off her (protective) outerwear? How about a little bit of gaslighting because clearly you didn't see that!?! How I love Grandma McBoberson! She stole the show!

OMG this was so good! A well written, heartwarming and hilarious Christmas story about love, family and magic! This time Sapphire and her guys are off to spend Christmas with Bob’s family, his very human family and it’s a very bizarre Christmassy tale that had me absolutely howling with laughter! Absolutely loved it.

I laughed so hard, I’m pretty sure my family thought I lost my marbles. I love that we get a look at the McBoberson family. Granny is a hoot and you will definitely wish you had one in your family! Sapphire definitely gets into some uncomfortable situations! I definitely recommend this book for sure!

Sapphire and her men are back, and the loudest, crudest supes in Silver Springs are trying to fit in with the ultra normal McBobbersons.

Of course, it goes as well as you might expect!

It's a short story, but there's plenty of Christmas laughs, and it's great to see some of my favourite characters back again!

This book was too funny. The whole group goes to Bob's family for Christmas. Bob is human and his family doesn't know about supes. His grandma is the only one to start to catch on. The rest of the family things everyone is just being rude. Poor Bob starts to be very upset about this. He doesn't want his family to hate his new family. What is he to do?

I’m so happy to get more of Saphire and her guys! In this short story we get a pretty hilarious Christmas story. Bob decides to bring his super natural family home to meet his human family but he hasn’t told them anything such as he’s involved with 4 people and they aren’t human. There is a lot of insanity and as always lots of laughs.

Warning, don't read this in a hospital waiting room as I found out the hard way!
Sapphire and co are back again for another christmas helping of fun. Bob hasnt told his family the truth about his relationship, he told them Sapphire is his girlfriend but they dont know that he is also with the other guys. Also his family are human and dont know about the supe thing so obviously hilarious situations are about to unfold as they stay at the McBoberson's for Christmas.
As always I loved this story by Eva Delaney. If I need some laughter in my life all I need to do is pick up a book by this author. I also liked the part where Bob's dad said the aliens took the cows and then brought them back, which made me think of the cows in the book Storm.
Not a book to be read in public due to multiple laughing fits, I recommend this for a quick, fun Christmas read

A funny and cute addition to Sapphire’s stories. We know she is a vampire and that most of her men are shifters. Bob is the human of the group and now they are all going to meet his family. Plenty of trouble will happen and nothing normal ever happens around Sapphire.
