Her Christmas Spy
I’m not here for holiday cheer. I’ve been hired to do a job—find out how Snow Hills cheats its way into winning a holiday decorating competition every year. I’m going to get to the bottom of it, I’m going to get paid, and then I’ll be done with this postcard-perfect town.
At least that’s the plan until I meet Liza Grable. She’s like the Christmas fairy of Snow Hill, all curves and sweetness. I’m supposed to be investigating her and her mother, the mayor, but the thought of her being a cheater simply doesn’t fit.

"Her Christmas Spy" is the story of Liza and Crane.
In this book, the hero goes undercover to investigate the happy-go-lucky heroine, and falls madly in love with her. He is pretty suspicious, but cannot stop himself from the attraction. There is some OM drama but the reveal is abruptly obliterated and we get an epilogue.
Felt incomplete, I was waiting for a showdown LOL.

Another winner from Mink! Loved this one, especially when the hero goes full caveman during the bachelorette auction! All the swoon!
Safe. Hero’s past isn’t mentioned at all. Heroine is a virgin and belongs only to her hero. There’s some unhinged OM drama, completely unreciprocated by h but hero saves the day. No ow. No cheating or sharing or abuse. HEA with epilogue

The couple: Crane and Liza
Romance trope: secret identity
Length: 154 pages
Plot: Crane is looking to make a little extra cash, so he takes a job spying on the town of Snow Falls to find out how they always win the Christmas contest. He doesn't expect to fall in love with the architect of the town's Christmas cheer, but Liza's sweetness is impossible to ignore. Crane just might have to give up spying and settle down in a small town with his new love. But there is still danger surrounding Liza of all people and he'll have to figure out how to keep her safe.
Commentary: I know that Mink's heroes always have an epiphany/redemption, but when Crane took the job for triple the money, thinking he would just take Liza away and make it up to her, I never heard something so dumb! Her life is the holidays in that town! If he was big in the mob scene in Boston, it seems like Crane would have already had a lot of money - why was he scrambling for a job (especially what must have been a little one, considering it was from the mayor of a very small town in regards to a Christmas contest)? That was odd. Also, the stalker? Weird. Weird choice of person and weird placement and weird everything. It seemed a little disjointed. I still enjoyed the story, I just felt like the plot could have been tightened up a little.

Is it even Christmastime if MINK isn't coming out with some sweet, over the top, insta-love, romance?

A cute story with mystery
This was a cute holiday themed story with a bit of mystery. The general feel off the writing (not the kind of story line but the feel of the writing) a bit different than MINK's usual stories but was in line with MINK's other holiday themed stories. Don't get me wrong the story was very good and bad a touch of mystery & suspense, there was absolutely nothing lacking , I have just noticed a bit of a difference in the writing style feel. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an Insta love holiday romance with a bit of "something else" tossed in.

A MINK Christmas
Short, Sweet, a little intrigue, and a cat. Yep. It’s MINK novella.
I loved this one. It was high on the sweet side, deep in the instalove, and featured a few joyous plot holes that if filled, would’ve lessened the impact of our possessive alpha male’s affection for his woman.
It’s a fun Christmas novella read by an author that I love. I absolutely recommend this one. Enjoy!

Holiday love with a little suspense
I liked this story a lot. It was entertaining and enjoyable for the most part. I wanted to yell at Crane for not just telling McGovern to shove it but it worked out. The reveal with who wanted Liza hit me from left field. I totally didn’t see that coming. Crane and Liza had an instant connection that was a surprise to both of them. I loved their happily ever after. The narrators did a great job of bringing the characters to life. I recommend listening to this book or reading it.

I loved this story. Crane was a criminal getting paid to find dirt on the mayor of a small town. He hated everything about hthis job but when he mets Liza something shifts in him. He wants her for keeps. Great plot, likeable characters and red hot romance. Highly recommended

Totally delightful! A sweet and a little bit spicy Christmas romance with some twists and turns and surprises. I always love Mink’s books and this one was no exception. Crane and Liza fit together perfectly. Neither was exactly what they seemed to be on the surface and they were exactly what the other needed. So good!! Perfect holiday romance and more.

Love this Author!
Crane and Liza are a cute couple. This story had several things going for it. A little suspense, a plethora of characters in the background that undoubtedly will get their own storyline soon.
Loved the humor, and hot scenes between Crane and Lisa.

good read
Good funny read. I haven’t read a Mink book in awhile. This was good. Crane was hired to spy on a town by a rival mayor. He falls for the mayor’s daughter of the town he supposed to spy on. He learns to blend in but it’s hard to leave his old life habits behind which serves him well. Good read.

A cute little holiday romp. Typical Mink, if you’ve read her work before. The storyline is not complicated, they fall instantly in lust, and he’s immediately obsessed with her. The climax felt a little rushed/unsatisfying.

Sweet story with a bit of a whodunnit thrown in for good measure. The ending fell a bit flat for me as I felt the story was building to Crane’s identity reveal but it never happened. Shame.

Mink always delivers a great steamy novella with Insta love and an over the top obsessive and possessive man. This was so different I really enjoyed it! It had a plot and level of suspense to keep you invested.
