Voto uguale a quelli degli altri libri di questa collana; anche la motivazione è la stessa. Per quanto riguarda la sparizione della bambina avevo capito cosa era successo ben presto e sinceramente speravo di essermi sbagliata. Comunque il finale è molto soddisfacente.

Good characters and story.

enjoyed this book's storyline. I enjoyed the suspense in this story. I enjoyed the action in this story. I enjoyed the Christian ✝️ theme in this story. I really liked Simon's character. I felt sorry for Simon. I liked Dani's character. Dani got on my nerves sometimes in the story. I enjoyed the ending.

Quick easy read. The characters were engaging and the multiple mysteries were intriguing. Overall, I really enjoyed this book.

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Uncovering Alaskan Secrets. I'm a big fan of Elisabeth's work. I was glad to get this book in the mail. It's well-written, action-packed, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.
Police Chief Dani Pearce is getting ready to leave for work when she gets a call on her personal line asking about a stranger living in the town. The call was from a detective in Tennessee. He described a new resident but she refused to answer because of not using police procedures. She chews him out and hangs up. She leaves to give a presentation to her team about a missing twelve-year-old girl.
Simon Walker is hiding in Homer, Alaska. He had been set up for the murder of a fellow cop and spent fifteen years in prison. He had been released but being known as a cop killer was more than he could bare. The man who had actually killed the cop was after him along with the dead's cop's brothers. He rescues the police chief but it's obvious she's a target. Can he keep her safe without her finding out about his secret.
A horrific journey to find a twelve-year-old and stay one step ahead of the criminals. God has a plan for these two, a plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. Give Him your heart and watch Him move in your life.

Loved this book! Great characters, believable story line, several twists and turns. Highly recommend.

The heroine was totally stupid with 0 investigation skills.I am surprised that she was a police chief because she did a shoddy job of it.Most of the time she was too emotional instead of practical. I cant remember a single thing I liked about her.
The romance was totally random and I have no idea why they fell in love.
Simon was the only one whose character was slightly developed.Although after spending time in prison for a crime he didnt commit,he didnt even get justice except towards the end that he was finally released of charges and could finally live a life free of all accusations.
