James Charles Shooter was an American writer, editor and publisher in the comics industry. Beginning his career writing for DC Comics at the age of 14, he had a successful but controversial run as editor-in-chief at Marvel Comics, and launched comics publishers Valiant, Defiant, and Broadway.
I have to admire Marvel's first proper attempt to have a massive crossover between multiple superheroes, teams and their villains, but it doesn't quite work in execution.
The main problem is that there are just way too many characters. Only a few actually get to make a worthy contribution to the storyline, and as a result the rest fall to the wayside. Certain characters' abilities are conveniently forgotten for story reasons and others just act completely out-of-character.
That said, if you're a fan of Doctor Doom and Galactus, then you'll probably enjoy this. They good some cool scenes.
El primer comic de Marvel que leo y me ha parecido muy ameno y entretenido. A pesar de ser muchos personajes tan distintos logra entrelazar perfectamente todas las historias en una sola trama .
The original comic book event from Marvel! It is still a great read and stands the test of time. So much comes out of this series, it truly was a game changer for Marvel.
