Let me start by saying that my relationship with Christian Ryder had a rocky start.
I did not like this man at the beginning cause I could see how much he was denying his feelings for Robyn and that was just— *screams internally*. I just needed him to get his head out of his ass istg🙃
But in this book. His book. He won me over. And it didn't take much for him to become one of my favorite characters of all time. I loved being inside his head. He literally makes me week in the knees. His power is like no other. He's what we call a damaged hero. (Probably my favorite thing about him lol) This man is so complicated. But you never doubt his love for his family, friends and most importantly, his love for Robyn. (he's also a billionaire. Yummy🧎🏻♀️)
Now, my girl Robyn Hale. My little sunflower. She's the sweetest girl. Everyone loves her. You wouldn't catch her saying anything bad about someone. She's also one of the strongest characters I've read. My brave girl. Nobody compares to her. She went through a lot. And still remains to be the kindest person... *swoon* Christian and I have something in common, we're beyond obsessed with Robyn.
I suffered a lot with this book. I'm not even going to sugarcoat it. The angst almost killed me. You feel it from the first book in the series. This one is also a slow burn, idek how I survived it. Also, there's a plot twist in this one I didn't see coming. I will NEVER not insult megs about it. The disrespect of doing that to me😤 But anyway. It's an amazing friends to lovers story. My favorite book and my favorite couple in the series. I wouldn't change anything I went through with them.
