I started reading this story and couldn't put it down. Walks Alone is a strong Cheyenne Dog Soldier. Since he was born he has had visions. But Walks Alone decided he would be a warrior, no matter what the visions mean, he feels he was born a warrior. Walks Alone is proud to be a dog soldier, and is loyal to them and what they teach.
Goes Ahead is a beautiful Crow warrior. She also has visions. But instead of picking one thing she chooses to be both. She is a Shaman and a warrior. The Crow and the Cheyenne are enemies. Once they see each other there is an instant attraction. But they were raised to hate each other!! Can they forget everything they were taught to be together? Or will they loose the love they could have together, and go separate ways? This is a fantastic story, it keeps you turning pages so you can see what happens.
This is a very good book, with a great story line ,about a young Cheyenne Dog Soldier, and the woman he fell in love with, a Crow Medican Woman, and a woman worrier.
