📚 All three fantastic books in the Love Notes series, together in one complete collection. 📚
Love Notes is a fantastic set of three stories, each centering around a different couple in an interconnected world. Each book contains an element of the characters writing 'love notes' which impacts their stories and the forming of their relationships.
All three books are completely unique and include a variety of different tropes such as best friends brother, bi-awakening, ex-stepbrothers, forced proximity and opposites attract.
This collection also includes a sketch of each couple from an important scene in their book as well as a bonus short story centering around the characters Jonas and Quinn from 'Naughty & Nice' (Book 2) which I thoroughly enjoyed.
As always, DJ Jamison delivers a fantastic set of well written, thoroughly enjoyable books. If you like soft and swoony, low angst love stories with happy endings then this series is for you.
Secret Admirer (Love Notes Book 1) CW: reference of homophobia (minimal)
Naughty & Nice (Love Notes Book 2) CW: grief, emotional abuse (from a past relationship- off page), negative body image

This was a cute and fluffy story about brother’s best friend who finds Benji upset after he’s stood up. In trying to show Benji that he’s great, Ace decides to send him a little token from a secret admirer, but the more Benji doesn’t guess it’s from him, the more Ace realizes he wants to be more than just a friend.
Reasons I Recommend:
1) Benji is adorably clueless
2) Ace is sure of Benji and everything else comes second and
3) The way Ace realizes his mistake and makes things right.
A sweet Christmas romance between Jonas and Quinn who used to be stepbrothers for two years and never got along. Now Quinn needs a place to stay and Jonas’ dad offers the cabin, but a snowstorm strands the rest of the family away leaving him alone with Jonas. Old tensions flare as Quinn deals with a toxic ex and a scary future and Jonas tries to pretend like he’s not still in love with the boy he can never have…
Reasons I Recommend:
1) Loved how Quinn took charge of himself despite Clay’s toxicity and manipulation and Jonas let him (in and out of the bedroom)
2) Jonas letting Quinn make the decisions and choosing him and
Adorably sweet story about Ollie who is convinced no one will ever take him seriously enough to date him so he puts himself on a sex freeze in an attempt to find a boyfriend. Shy and introverted Graham is the last person he expects to show an interest in him and when sparks flare, Ollie learns that sometimes waiting is worth it.
Reasons I Recommend:
1) Graham’s grandma is adorable
2) Loved seeing Ollie and Jonas make peace and
3) Ollie learning more about himself in the process of falling in love — love notes included.
⭐️⭐️⭐️
Quote: "l’ll have you know I have read classic literature," he said with mock offense. "I took honors English in high school." "Hidden depths, hmm? Well, what's your favorite of the classics you've read?" "Count of Monte Cristo," he said without hesitation. I chuckled. "Not many love quotes in that one." "Some pretty good revenge ones." "Uh-oh, should I be worried?" "Not unless you wrong me." He winked.
I listened to the box set on audio, and very much enjoyed this collection of stories. I recommend each of the books individually and as a box set, they are all very good and worth reading. Naughty and Nice was my favourite out of the three, but I rate all three of them highly. Unfortunately I didn't think the bonus short added much to it, but would still recommend the convenience of grabbing the box set with these excellent titles. I would definitely read more by DJ.
A sweet collection of stories about finding your other half. I loved reading one story right after the other. Ace and Benji have known each other for years and they so sweet. Jonas and Quinn were step brothers in their teens and now they have a hurdle to overcome. Graham and Ollie were so much fun to read.
Overall I really enjoyed all 3 books for different reasons. The characters were relatable and lovable. Their stories drew me in and had plenty of plot and steam. The bonus novella was a nice addition as well.
