A Boss in a Billion #1

Talking Dirty with the Billionaire Boss

Rate this book
He could have any woman he wanted. But for some reason, he wants me…

Mack Hart is 28. He has a doctorate in Computer Engineering. He possesses an IQ of 172. And he has a bank balance containing nine zeroes.

I’m Sidnie Beaver (and don’t think I haven’t heard all the jokes before.) I’m 22. I have trouble tying my shoelaces some days. And my bank balance is permanently, dangerously in the red.

His research is so important that his rival will pay big money for it, and I desperately need some of that cash. When Mack demands I come to his office, I’m convinced it’s because he’s caught me on security camera taking photos of his files when I should have been cleaning.

Instead, he seems more interested in the piece of paper I accidentally dropped the night before. It contains a rather steamy poem I wrote about my perfect fantasy man. I’m sure he thinks it’s about him, which isn’t surprising considering how accurately he fits the bill.

Mortified, I explain that I write romance, but that it’s just a hobby, and I don’t have much experience in the real world. I wait for him to show me the door. Instead, he asks me to be his date at a party that evening.

Terrified that he’s going to discover my secret, I try to turn him down. But Mack Hart is a man used to getting his own way.

This one took me a little longer to finish reading than I expected it too. The writing was good, characters were well developed and fleshed out but I just didn't feel any draw to them. I read through it but without that urgency to find out what's going to happen next. Still a good read, I guess I was just missing a little intensity and drama \(-_-)/

Sidnie and Mack have a meet-cute that looses some of the happy glow when we find out Sidnie was sent to spy on Mack's work. Of course it turns out she is a terrible spy and she come clean to Mack almost right away which causes some drama but surprisingly it all gets resolved pretty quickly.

Which is probably my problem with this story. Mack, a self made billionaire is instantly attracted to Sidnie and when he finds out that she was sent to spy on him, he (understandably) freaks out and sends her packing but after a night of thinking it over, he realizes that she's poor, must have had a good reason for attempting to spy on him and that he's okay with it because he just "knows" she's a good person that he can 100% trust. Admirably open mindedness but not very believable.

The final resolution to who's behind the spying was also pretty anti-climatic. It's kind resolved in a rushed way, as a means to tie up loose ends but didn't really create more than a ripple of action. Kind of disappointing.

The real drama between these two is the fact that Mack is point blank, 100% up front about his need to get in Sidnie's pants with absolutely no strings. I lost count how many times we have to hear about Mack's countless women he slept with but didn't form any kind of attachment with or how he only slept with women once (rarely twice) because he's super busy/smart and would easily get bored or tired and would just move on until he had an itch to scratch.

Not admirable at all there.

I will say that I liked the level of maturity both MCs tended to lean towards. It's not something we get a lot of and would be nice to see more of in the future. Adults talking, having open communication and depicting them in a happy relationship outside the bedroom. I also really appreciated that Sidnie wasn’t a clingy insecure person. She was independent, smart and Had her own interests outside of Mack.

I will also point out that the title is a little misleading. Mack isn't actually Sidnie's "boss". She gets a job with the cleaning company used to clean Mack's office building. So not technically her direct "boss".

I voluntarily read and reviewed a Library Loaned copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

2.5 ⭐

The writing style, characters, and plot just didn't work for me. I also felt like it took Mack awhile to realize that he wanted more with Sidnie. He's a busy man and he only does ONS and very rarely sleeps twice with the same woman. Idk what to feel that he's honest with her since the beginning that he only wanted to sleep with her with no strings attached but he's obviously catching feelings for her but so in denial.

Overall, this book didn't work out for me. Or maybe I'm just not in the mood. 🤷‍♀️

Talking Dirty with the Billionaire Boss is much spicier than previous books by Serenity Woods, with a great story to match its intensity!

Mack Hart heads a cutting-edge tech business, while Sidnie Beaver is scraping by working as a technical writer with a side gig as a cleaner. Sidnie is in such a tight financial spot, she stoops to spying, an undertaking her brother set up with a mystery man. During a housekeeping shift, she photographs Mack's office, something that makes her physically ill and disgusted with herself. When she's called in to meet with him the next day, she fears the worst.

Mack is very interested in the woman who left behind an erotic poem in his office. Meeting with her over lunch and feeling their undeniable chemistry pushes him ask her out. They both go into the date anticipating a scorching night of passion, but not planning for much more afterward. The heat between them is impossible to ignore, so can they have more? But what about Sidnie's secret job spying on Mack in the first place?

I loved how Talking Dirty with the Billionaire Boss was was another take on modern dating and how varied it can be. Mack and Sidnie are adults clearly in touch with their sexuality and don't act ashamed of their desires. While I won't say when it was revealed, I loved that Sidnie's deception didn't drag out until the final pages of the book, that they had time to acknowledge how they met and how they wanted to move forward. These were two adults having to make decisions about their lives and deal with the consequences. They did it in a reasonably mature way where people admitted their faults and tried to do better.

I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book.

Serenity Woods is a fabulous storyteller. I am always amazed at the way she is able to come up with brand new stories, new ideas, and unique characters. By keeping things new and interesting, she may push the envelope, and this is one of those times.
At 26 chapters, this is one of Woods' longer books. From the beginning, Sidnie (h) and Mack (H) were talking "dirty" to each other. Sidnie has a blog that teachers people how to talk dirty to their partner and how to do it in stages. Mack is a very willing subject so the lessons begin. Although this is done in a playful manner, and Sidnie is "teaching" Mack rather than actually participating in a dirty conversation, I found it hard to believe that two people would actually engage in this type of behavior after just meeting. I also know that Sidnie needed to do anything and everything she chould to get secret information on Mack and his company but it still took several chapters for me to see this as a romance. As the story went on, Woods slowly allowed us to see into the lives of all of her characters. That was when I saw this as a romance story.
As I stated earlier, Woods is an incredible writer. As in all of her books, the characters in "Talking Dirty with the Billionaire Boss" are well developed - the ones you are supposed to like, you love, the ones you are supposed to hate, you do. The angst between the two main characters comes from situations that unfortunately must be dealt with in real life. Woods did an incredible job of researching all the necessary elemnets of this story to make it as real as psooible. That allows us to become invested in the story as well.

I received an advance review copy of this book from the offer.

I found this book to be adorable, funny, and lusty. The way they meet and develop their relationship. She's overcome by her conscience and holds back from reciprocating his feelings for about half a minute. He's totally infatuated with her and finds himself worrying why he is so carried away.

She teaches him how to talk and text dirty. She finds him to be a quick study. Their relationship grows and flourishes. The perfect love story with a visit to the coast to meet the family.

Set in beautiful New Zealand Mack and Sidnie meet in the most surprising of ways. Mack is a billionaire genius and Sidnie is an aspiring author.

Serious issues are brought to the fore and handled delicately, but the story is still a cheerful, light read.

Serenity does it again with a great story woven around these flawed characters each with a heart of gold. Reading this book during work breaks I found myself getting back to work late each time as the story kept me not wanting to put the book down as I became invested in these characters and their friends and families. Even though this is a standalone book I can't wait for future books as I have become very fond of this world and would love to spend more time there.

I was so disappointed with this book, not really any depth to the story. I have to say though, you get exactly what it says on the cover…. She talked dirty to the boss…. All the way through. The first time I’ve ever been bored with a serenity wood book. If this was the first of hers books, I’d read, l wouldn’t have picked up another. Sorry Ms. Woods. !

okay story, reasonable characters

Not a bad story, but the author left too many clues throughout. The reader figures out the third act plot twist in the fist act.

Talking Dirty with the Billionaire Boss by Serenity Woods, book one in her new A Boss in a Billion series, is an amazing, emotional, rollercoaster, romance between to mid-twenty year olds with a lot of heat and colorful language. This is a great read, but just know, it definitely sizzles through descriptive scenes, so if you can't handle that, you should pass on this book.

Desperately in need of money Sidnie agreed to join a cleaning team and take pictures of any documents she could find in Dr. Mack Hart's office at Kora Technology. This corporate spying went against everything that she believed in but the circumstances were bad enough that she agreed to this. Mack is intrigued when he finds a poem that is a little risqué on his office floor written by Sidnie. Despite not really find anything in the office, Sidnie is terrified when she is invited to meet Mack. Sidnie was astonished when he confronted her with a very explicit poem that she had written on a paper napkin and accidentally dropped in his office. Mack intrigued wanted to know more about the author, the fact that she was tall, willowy, and had a mass of unruly blonde curls, made her even more interesting. Mack lifestyle was a fantasy in comparison to hers. His friends were wealthy and he could buy anything he wanted. Mack came from nothing, only becoming rich because of a computer he created. Because of his background, he made sure to give back to the community; especially those in need. Mack lived for his work and had no intention of letting anything or anyone get in his way; which was why he did not do relationships, being upfront with any woman he was seeing. Then he meets Sidnie and though he gives her the same warning, she feels one time is better than no time. For some reason, one time is not enough for Mack, wanting more with Sindie than he ever wanted with any other woman. These two were perfect together. While there are steamy scenes, much of the sizzle in the story comes from their texting and dirty talk, which they both enjoy.

Ms. Woods wrote a wonderful, emotional and very hot story that should not be missed. She also provided a tale set in New Zealand, rich with sizzling chemistry, clever banter, the magic of love, and endearing secondary characters giving Sidnie and Mack a chance at love, happiness, and a future together. I highly recommend Talking Dirty with the Billionaire Boss to other readers and look forward to the next book in the series.

TALKING DIRTY WITH THE BILLIONAIRE BOSS is a standalone read with a happy ending. It has LOTS AND LOTS of sexy scenes and colorful language. If that is an issue for you, better skip this book. It will not be for you. For the rest of us just let me say this. There was smoke coming out of my iPad. This book is that hot. Lots of sex but a very good story about sex. Lots of lesson that if taken to heart could certain improve the sex lives of a lot of couples.

Naturally it is set in beautiful New Zealand. I love the NZ stories because I always get descriptions of places, the kinds of birds they have, the beaches and homes. It is just a good way to learn about NZ. I could tell the whole story because there is so much to this story but I don't want to do that. Mack is a genius with an I.Q. of 172. He is a computer wiz and at a very early age he sold an invention and it set him up financially for life. He is a billionaire. He is not crazy with his money but he does use it to help others without them even knowing he is helping them. He works 12-15 hr. days and his job is his life. It comes first in everything and it is the love of his life. He dates but never over 2 or 3 times with the same woman. He doesn't want them to think their date will turn into something long term. He doesn't have the time or patience for relationships.

Then he meets Sidnie and even though he gives her the same warning she feels one time is better than no time. These two were made for each other and they know it. Just some baggage they need to clear out. There is a great bit of humor. Sidnie is sharp and always have a great comeback. She keeps him on his toes or his back all depending on what they are doing!! And they are doing a lot.

This is a great read but just remember, it is sexy so if you can't handle that, just pass on this one. A negative review always hurts the author's feelings and that is not a good thing. It is not smut or porn, it is two consenting adults doing what works for them. I enjoyed the book and I definitely recommend it.

I was not paid for this review. I am not a writer nor do I know one. I am not kin to this author. I am a reader and this is just my opinion, nothing more, nothing less. 11/21/2022

Talking Dirty with the Billionaire Boss by Serenity Woods
A Boss in a Million #1

Fanning myself and smiling as I think about this story – Holy Hotness was my first thought then, wholly hotness or perhaps holey hotness? Perhaps all apply ;) I say that sitting here a bit sleep deprived having stayed up till long after the electricity cut at midning, reading in the dark till after one when I finished the book, and then finding myself unable to sleep due till after two-thirty just thinking about Sidnie and Mack and the fact that there will be another book in the series coming soon. This book made for a splendid way to end my day and begin my morning!

What I liked:
* Sidnie: intelligent, hard worker, lovers her family, good friend, enjoys words, aspires to be an author, wise, open, caring, and HOT
* Mack: genius, wealthy, CEO of tech company, good friend, great people skills, philanthropist, has hidden depths, and a HOT perfect partner for Sidnie
* The way Mack and Sidnie were able to communicate with one another openly and honestly about…everything
* The supporting characters, how they were introduced, and how they fit into this story – family, friends, business partners, and others
* The plot, pacing, location, and writing
* That I was drawn in, felt a part of the story, cared about the main characters and also those on the sidelines
* I can’t think of anything I didn’t like except…

What I didn’t like:
* Who and what I was meant not to like – and it was easy to really dislike them and wish them a comeuppance – won’t tell you who but you will definitely pick them out as you read the book!

Did I like this book? My, oh my, YES
Would I read more in this series? Can’t wait to read it!

Thank you to the author for the ARC – This is my honest review.

First, WTF. I had this book in my library for weeks. I told myself I would read it eventually, no pressure. Then I finally picked up the book to read and it's a whole lot of nothing. I should have known it was going to be bad. But I pushed through.

The beginning was a whole lot of unnecessary information, the way it was told. Just something about it wasn't that good.

See, the writing is not bad, the characters are not bad (if many, so many mmc friends), the idea is OK (rolls eyes for that poem; who’s captivated by that shit?)
I digress.

It was just fine, but it was too fine, you know? It was just off. These characters are the sincerest characters ever and no one is like that. They say whatever is on their minds and you know, are just good. Even the bad guy feels good lol.
Here’s a note I made when I realized all wasn’t right with the book:

I started this book but couldn't state why it threw me off. Until I got it.
There's no subtext. No hints. The characters are on the nose about everything. It's shockingly sincere and forward. And it's not a shock to any of them when they speak like that. Wow.
It's not a bad thing, just unusual. I want to see how it goes with these very sincere characters.

It's a bad thing. Absolutely terrible. It's the thing that prevented me from finishing this book. It was so heavy-handed in the way the mcs interacted with each other(and boring too). There was no teasing or coaxing, everything was so plain. And the sexy scenes... oh lord. I had to rush through them because what in the dirty talk were those??? I cringed so much. The supposed queen of dirty talk sounded so awkward ‘mmm’?? Whatt??

Haha, I didn't like this. And I'm not going to finish it, ever. I feel so free as I don't have to read it again. It was boring and I don't like the way the story was told.

Bye.

Talking Dirty With a Billionaire Boss
Auckland Billionaire #1
Serenity Woods
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Holy hotness, I’ve not long ago found Serenity Woods, but she’s fast become a favourite author, and this story was scorchingly good. Main characters Dr Mack Hart, a Billionaire business owner with a heart of gold and Sidnie Beaver, a girl from the wrong side with a boat load of issues. They meet in the strangest of ways, her cleaning his office while secretly looking for secrets to share to a bad person and dropping a piece of paper with a sexy little poem in it…. When Mack finds the little note he’s taken by her words, and sets a plan to meet her.

On first glance the chemistry between Mack and Sidnie is like a volcano, her poetic way with words that are as obscene as they are magic, Mack falls into her spell, but with ulterior motive Sidnie finds the real man in Mack that most don’t see. She’s needs to help her dad and falling in with the wrong crowd means doing the dirty on a man she’s fallen for. The sex is epic, but the lies are worse. When Mack discovers her secret, and is ready to go postal on her ass… He doesn’t trust, he has a very small group of friends and intends to keep it that way. When her truth is told, Mack sees another side of Sidnie, not the thief but the poor woman just trying to help her father.

As more of Mack’s life becomes clear to Sidnie and her past and future become a part of Mack’s day, they find their lives are better together. Taking on the world Mack and Sidnie are the new IT couple. They may have started as a mistake, Mack discovers his life is better with her in it, and Sidnie tries to handle her new life, filled with money, friends and a man who stands with her no matter what!

These 2 weren’t insta love but they were insta- fabulous!

This is the start of Serenity Wood's "A Boss in a Billion" series.
Sidnie stands in Mack Hart's office, knees trembling and with sweaty palms but there are no police in sight, Sidnie had taken a bribe to join a cleaning team and take pictures of any documents that she could find in Mack's office, she needed the money desperately, this went against everything that she believed in but the circumstances led her down this path.
Dr. Mack Hart was CEO of Kora Technology, he had an IQ greater than 170, he was a computer wizard and had made his billions in that field, he was also devilishly handsome.
Sidnie was amazed when he confronter her with a very explicit poem that she wad written on a paper napkin and accidentally dropped in his office, it had Mack intrigued, he wanted to know more about the author, the fact that she was a tall, willowy, with a mass of unruly blonde curls made her even more interesting.
This story follows Sidnie and Mack's journey, he lived in a completely different world to her, his friends were all wealthy, he lived for his work and had no intention of letting anything or anyone get in the way.
What did Mack see in a lowly copywriter ? How would he react when he found out that she had been spying on him ? Could Sidnie just have a one night stand and walk away ?
Although the extremely erotic scenes in this book may not be everyone's cup of tea, underneath there is a beautiful love story with a HEA.

I was very generously sen an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

And I can VERY honestly say I loved it - no shock there as I think Ms Woods does a fantastic job with each book she sends off to print.

I like Sidnie for her generosity and down-to-earth attitude. She has such a kind soul and is trying her best, picking herself up if she falls and keeping on. You have to admire that!

I love Mack and I think he can definitely join the lineup of billionaire heroes that we all enjoy reading about. I feel like he has so much depth to him. Which is why I feel as though we kind of just barely scratched the surface of what makes him tick.

Now don't get me wrong here. I thoroughly appreciate the in-the-moment vibe of the book and the focus being in the here and now, but I just feel as though a smidgeon more might have covered it.

And for those saying this is just one of those "smutty" books - HAH. Well you're welcome to your opinion of course. But you're missing out, not only on some steamy sessions (yowza!) but equally on the growth of a relationship that goes from strength to strength.

This story has it all, great main characters, superb supporting cast, heart-rending plotline, feel-good vibes and the glorious backdrop of New Zealand.

So treat yourself this Christmas, and let Mack and Sidnie take you away 💙

A most enjoyable story, full of the ‘aah’ factor. Sidnie has taken a second job as a cleaner, but it is not what she is really there for. She has been offered a lot of money to carry out industrial espionage, and she is very scared that she will get caught. She desperately needs the money to help with a family crisis. She has been sent to a technology company. On the way in to work her shift a man is just leaving, and she is immediately drawn to his good looks and physique. She is shocked to discover he is the boss, Mack Hart, and he is not so very much older than her. She is directed to a suite of offices that she will be required to clean, and soon discovers it is a very security conscious company - absolutely nothing has been left out for her to steal. In Mack’s office the only thing out of place that might be of use to the person who employed her is a torn up card in the waste bin, advising that Mack Hart has been nominated for a prestigious award. She takes a photo on her phone to pass on. She doesn’t realise she has dropped a piece of paper from her pocket and it has slipped down between some shelves.

The next morning Mack finds the paper, it has a erotic poem written on it. He realises that it must come from the cleaner he had noticed the evening before, he had been particularly struck by her amazing wild blond hair. He phones the cleaning company and arranges for Sidnie to come and see him at lunch time. She is terrified that security cameras picked up on her snooping, so she is relieved it is about her poem. They have a very pleasant lunch together, and so begins a relationship between them. She tells the ‘spymaster’ she is not carrying out any more espionage, her nerves cannot stand it; and it is not very long before she has told Mack about it. She is a very honest person.

Their relationship develops very fast, and the more Sidnie learns about Mack the more she is attracted to him. Mack has never had time for a long term relationship and for him it is a huge learning curve. It is all good until somebody says something that makes him think that a close friend has betrayed him. Sidnie realises that in fact it is to do with her evening of espionage, and they are able to work out who wants to steal his company secrets. It is true to say that Mack’s reaction is not pretty!

This a lovely story, no awful tensions, a few secrets to be told, and a beautiful happy ever after. Lovely!

Aspiring author Sidnie works two jobs and writes steamy romance in her limited spare time. Needing money and not knowing Mack, Sidnie reluctantly agrees to do some corporate spying while she is cleaning billionaire CEO Mack Hart's office. Mack is intrigued when he finds a poem that is a little risqué on his office floor written by Sidnie. Even though Sidnie didn't really find anything in his office, she is terrified when she is invited to meet him. Sidnie is relieved that her sleuthing wasn't captured and surprised to be asked out on a date. It's just a matter of time before he realizes what she was doing. I received a free copy of this ebook from the author. This is my honest and voluntarily given review. What draws me to Serenity Wood's stories are the characters that she develops as well as the storyline. While I thought that Mack would be all cold and all business, Mack is brilliant, strong, athletic, compassionate and a workaholic. Sidnie is down to earth and changes his life. While there are steamy scenes, much of the sizzle of the book comes from sexting and dirty talk that they both enjoy. This is a wonderful story that I enjoyed very much. I am looking forward to the next book in this series which focuses on two secondary characters from this one.

This book seems to have a LOT more steamy scenes than some of this author's other work. But, it would as the title references dirty talking.

There is so much more going on than Mack and Sidnie's intimate encounters. The book begins with a bit of suspense and mystery as I wondered why Sid was making those specific moves.

It wasn't really surprising to me that Sidnie found herself in an unexpected position with Mack. I was happy that I didn't have to go through a prolonged angsty period.

There were issues with Sid's family, Mack's work, Mack and Jamie's past, as well as other situations that touched Mack and Sidnie's relationship. The sexy times were all interwoven among everything else that was happening.

I enjoyed Sidnie teaching Mack how to talk dirty. It was witty and humorous dialogue. I thought their relationship was loving and sweet. I liked how they took care and supported one another. I was very glad to see them get their HEA. One question that I would have liked an answer to is what happened to David after the party?

Mack and Sidnie, totally beyond “opposites attract” form an immediate bond from first sight, even though neither realizes it. Not such a good thing, when Sidnie has been sent in to try and steal technology secrets from Mack, a very young super tech wizard who is also on the spectrum. Emphasis on the word TRIES. And fails. And confesses. Dear friends convince him to consider why an amazing woman such as Sidnie, who has broken through many of his personal barriers in a very short time would try such a thing and then tell him. The reasons for her actions, the reasons for his barriers and defense mechanisms are all revealed, bit by bit. The main focus of the story (often interrupted/aided by great dirty texts and sexts and actual sex) seems to be communication as much as the many kinds of love and family (born or made) that make up the world.

I almost don't want to admit this story, as most of Serenity Woods' stories do, made me laugh and made me cry. Mack and Sidnie, for a few short hours, were REAL to me, and as Mack opens up bit by bit, helped immensely by Sidnie's side gig of teaching people to “talk dirty” via social media, just made me fall in love with them both.

5 Star of Talking Dirty With The Billionaire Boss (A Boss in a Billion #1) by Serenity Woods

I was so excited when I heard that Serenity Woods had a new series releasing and if Talking Dirty With The Billionaire Boss is anything to go by them Serenity Woods has a winning series on her hands.

From the first chapter to the last I was hooked on the story that she wove. It was an entertaining, well written story with characters whose story you cannot help but be drawn into. .

This book was passionate , steamy and had characters who I was really drawn to. Mack Hart ticked all my boxes, such a dynamic, clever, caring and totally swoon worthy man. Sidnie is up to something and fears that she has been discovered when she is called into Mack’s office.

I loved how sassy and feisty Sidnie was, she could certainly hold her own, give as good as she got and the banter between them was witty. There were equal amounts of romance, plenty of passion as Mack and Sidnie embark on a journey that will captivate you.

hot and sweet

Sidnie is desperate to help her dad who is Ill and agrees to spy on tech company to get money. It turns out she’s not a great spy and when the company founder takes a liking to her she can’t resist the handsome genius. This also means she can’t go through with the spying. They manage to get past this hurdle, but Mack isn’t a relationship kind of guy and Sidnie accepts they might just have one night together, but what a night! The sparks really fly between them and neither of them can forget the other and they are drawn back together. The man who doesn’t believe in love sees what an amazing, caring, sassy, sexy woman she is and she sees past the awkward genius to see the loyal, kind, thoughtful, hot man that he is. I loved the kindness and caring in the story as much as I loved the heat and there was lots of heat! I loved what their families and friends brought to the story. This is a great start to what I’m sure will be another fantastic series by this author.

Holy hotness! Take a wonderful love story and add some fun and hot sexting and dirty talking and readers will be combusting! This is a very hot story and Ms. Woods builds up the sexual tension with the sexy banter until I started climbing the walls. There is also a lot of depth to the story of a technology genius/billionaire who has no time for relationships of women except for one-night stands. Sidnie finds her way under Mack's skin with her enthusiasm and sexy games. It is a Cinderella story too about an office cleaner with crazy hair who falls for the CEO, despite trying to spy on his work for money. But there is so much more to the story that you will need to read the book to unravel. As in all her books, Ms. Woods is not afraid to take on real-life, serious issues and here cancer, workaholics, family problems and business espionage are all handled very well. Add to that the New Zealand settings and the Christmas in summer and you have a great story.

"Talking Dirty with the Billionaire Boss" is Serenity Woods' new series starter (A Boss in a Billion). And oh boy it's a hot one!

Sidnie Beaver agrees to spy on Dr Mack Hart in order to pay for medication for her family. She accidentally drops a naughty poem in his office and upon finding it, he becomes curious about whoever would write such a poem. They have an immediate attraction and pretty soon the hot texts start flying. While Mack is Sidnie's knight in shining armour, she teaches him about trust and love.

In true Serenity Woods tradition, there's a lot (and I mean A LOT) of hot sex scenes, naughty texting and innuendo. The story however can stand on its own and has all the emotion and humour that we expect from Serenity's stories.

I really liked it and if you probably will too. Just a note: this book is most definitely NSFW (not safe for work)!

I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for a fair review.

Hot, steamy and good read

Sidnie has been tasked to obtain information from a company she works at cleaning. Armed with her phone she searches the company for anything that could be used. With little success and with feeling disappointed with herself Sidnie leaves almoat empty handed.

Mack a successful billionaire who works in technology is happy with work, exercise and close knit friends. Whilst in his office one morning he finds a dirty note which has been accidently left there by the cleaner Sidnie

When Mack requests to see Sidnie there is worry on Sindies part. But at their lunch sparks fly.

This is a good story, good plotline, the sexual tension and scenes are steamy and brilliantly written.

I enjoyed this story because there wasnt the normal trope of the characters having a big reveal and them breaking up. It was refreshing.

Enjoyed it.

Talking Dirty with the Billionaire

The Auckland Billionaires are fire.

This is the story of workaholic Mack, a self made Billionaire who has no time or inclination for love or any kind of relationship.

In comes Sidnie, a struggling college graduate who works 2 jobs and is trying to make as much money as possible so she can help pay for her dad's medical bills.

Sidnie becomes a spy her only job is to get information on Macks work, but Sidnie is without a doubt the worst spy in the world and confesses everything without being caught.

Shockingly, this starts a beautiful relationship between the 2 of them, and when I say they are couple goals, I absolutely mean that.

This book has so much more than all this, tho. I am going to devour this series.

100% recommend author and series.

Sidnie is trying to raise money to pay for her father's medical bills. She is offered money to find information at one of the businesses that she cleans. When she is called back to the business the next day she is terrified that she has been caught. However, CEO Mack had found a poem that Sidnie had written. She has a blog where she teaches people to talk dirty to their partners. Mack asks Sidnie to be his partner at a party that night. That turns into a one night stand, but then Mack realises that he wants more. He is a billionaire and her bank account is normally in the red. Is it possible for them to have a relationship?

Another great Serenity Woods book. This story is racier than most of her books.

I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily.

OMG! Mack and Sidnie! I just love them. I don’t know how Ms Woods does it. I read a book and think she can't top this and then she does. This book was perfect. I’ve never said that before, but there it is.

The characters are wonderful, the background relationships are so sweet, I always love when there are a group of friends this close. There’s a lot of dirty talk and sex, but as usual it’s written so well.

Mack is so sweet and a little bit damaged, but Sidnie is full of sunshine and light. They go together so well and the banter is hot and so well done. I cannot wait for the next book in the series. I just know it’s going to be amazing!

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
