Rate this book
We were made for more! Our lives have been marked with purpose, but it is so easy to get lost in the memorable and mundane moments of everyday life. Our desire to be valued and make an impact can get overshadowed by the urgent. We become distracted, disappointed, and depleted. What if we could go after more in our relationships, circumstances, and souls? Going After More takes the reader on a journey that gives permission to move past disappointments, discouragement, or defeat while advancing to see God’s promises fulfilled. It introduces you to the idea that everyday steps contain destiny, as you dive deeper into God’s love, go further into purpose, and rise higher in your thinking. It’s a journey of knowing, trusting, and experiencing who God is and what he has called us into. God is inviting us into awareness of our need for Him and to go after the purpose and promises He has for us. It’s time to leave behind limitations and walk toward possibilities!

I am someone who never really liked reading until I came across this book. Not only do you get to read an amazing story about the author’s life through the ups and downs, but you also get scriptures from the Bible and great quotes you can apply to your daily life. One of my favorite parts about this book are the questions after every chapter. That really separates this book from other books I have read because it makes you feel like you’re apart of it too. Another thing I’d like to say is that this book can be read over and over again and you can have different answers to the same questions depending on what season of life you are in so this is a great book for self reflection as well. I 100% recommend! 10/10

I am nearing the end of this book but wanted to review it before I forget!

This book has been such an awesome read. Not only is it very relatable, it has been challenging me in ways I did not expect. I was breezing through the book initially and then found myself stuck on pages/sections of the book due to its richness.

The author gets personal and stays honest when it comes to her storytelling, which helps me feel less crazy and more empowered. I've had similar stories in my life that I didn't know how to articulate or see how God may have used those situations for good; "Going for More" has brought clarity to some of those stories.

Though I am not finished, this book has been a game-changer!

The author’s use of life experiences so common to us all underscores her value of Scripture, prayer, and worship and its reward. Her testimony interwoven with biblical lives take us to a deeper level of understanding…and in that makes us hungry to know more. Chapter questions highlight revelatory truths that are thought provoking, encouraging, and growth-building. The reader gains greater sensitivity to hear and experience God in the mundane and how to maintain a constant conversation with the best Companion.

Kiersten expresses her thoughts, revelations, and experiences very well. This book is thought provoking, practical and challenges one to be more in tune with God and to live their life with purpose: their God-given purpose. She shows how the mundane can be catapulted into meaningful purpose. I'm not finished reading the book yet, so excited to explore "the next chapter".😄
