Carnal Transgression is about love, trust and corruption. When her sister died, Constance Dunbar needs to know the name of the murder. The local law enforcement officers were no help to Constance Dunbar, so she hired Seamus Tynedale. However, Seamus needs to be careful. He is also a law enforcement officer, and Constance Dunbar mistrusts the department. As Seamus investigation continues, he started to believed that Constance's enemies followed her from Ireland. The readers of Carnal Transgression will continue to follow Constance and Seamus to find out what happens.
Carnal Transgression is a historical romantic suspense set in Queensland. I am so please that Faye Hall has published a new book. I enjoyed reading Carnal Transgression. I had trouble putting this book down. I engage with the plot and the characters from the first page. I love Faye Hall's portrayal of her characters and how they interact with each other throughout this book. Carnal Transgression is well written and researched by Faye Hall. I like Faye Hall's description of Carnal Transgression settings to allow me to feel part of the books' plot.

You might recall that many Irish emigrants to Australia were free settlers, and, women often broke boundaries doing things differently or new.
The heroine, Constance Dunbar, is strong and determined to find out who killed her sister. Constance advertises for a private investigator. All the while, the hero Seamus Tynedale, is starting out, in a new country, and hiding his profession while protecting Constance.
