I had the pleasure of listening to Alicia do a talk at a book launch in Hamilton last week. She is an incredibly captivating motivational speaker. Immediately after the book signing I started reading the book and burned through it the way that she burned through calories in her life-changing transformation.

The book is written in the same captivating style demonstrated by Alicia when she was talking about her experiences and her book. She is an inspiring, warm and energetic personality, speaks with compassion and humility about her experiences in both the thin and fat worlds she has lived in.

As Lawrence Hill says in the blurb on the front cover, "Alicia Snell is living proof of the ability of people to change their lives for the better and profoundly."

Whether a person is wanting to lose weight, quit smoking or just do something that they've always thought of but never actually allowed themselves to do, this book will help that reader find the inspiration within their own heart to do it. And without giving it away, that was one of the keys Alicia points out. The desire has to be in your own heart, the determination to change has to start from within.

I simply can't recommend this book enough and look forward to watching Alicia's continued success.
