Endlich ist es so weit. Die vier Freundinnen Priscilla Grant, Philippa Gordon, Stelle und Anne ziehen mit Tante Jamesina in Pattys Haus. Anne hat sogar das blaue Zimmer bekommen, das ihr schon bei der Besichtigung so gut gefallen hatte. Eines Tages kommt Anne ganz aufgelöst nach Hause. Sie wird verfolgt, von einer streunenden Katze, die sich partout nicht abwimmeln lässt. Unglücklicherweise hat Tante Jamesina auch eine Katze und für zwei Katzen scheint kein Platz zu sein, also beschließen die Mädchen den Streunder mit Chloroform in den Katzenhimmel zu befördern aber durch einen Finderzeig des Himmels bevölkern bald 3 Katzen Pattys Haus.
In den Ferien in Avonlea hat Anne ein großes Problem. Gilbert will ihre wunderbare Freundschaft zerstören und macht ihr einen Heiratsantrag, denn Anne jedoch zurückweist. Dieser Unmut legt sich jedoch bald, als Anne ihren Traummann trifft: Royal Gardner. Unglaublich gutaussehend, romantisch und reich. So hatte sie sich ihren Mann immer erträumt. Warum nur tut es dan so weh, dass auch Gilbert mit jemand anderem zusammen ist?
Kopfzerbrechen bereitet Anne auch, wie sie ohne ein weiteres Stipendium ihr Studium am Redmond Colledge weiterfinanzieren soll.
Im Urlaub wandelt Anne auf den Spuren ihrer Eltern und erfährt mehr über ihre Herkunft.

Die Sprecher sind wieder die guten bekannten Sprecher der vorangegangenen Teile.
Die Geräuschkulisse ist wie gehabt realistisch und unterstützend ohne aufdringlich oder störend zu wirken, aber das hat man ja mittlerweile auch nicht anders erwartet.
Neu hinzugekommen ist Christian Stark als Royal Gardner, der mit seiner attraktiven Stimme derjenigen von Simon Jäger sehr ähnlich ist und es teilweise schwer macht, die beiden zu unterscheiden. Zum Glück jedoch gibt es keine gemeinsame Szene der beiden.
Eva-Maria Werth als lustige, gemütliche Tante Jamesina ist eine wunderbare Bereicherung der Serie. Rachel Lynde alias Regina Lemnitz jedoch ist mit ihrer bissig sarkastischen Art der heimliche Star der Serie. Rachel Lynd bringt die Sachen auf den Punkt und Regina Lemnitz ist diese Rolle wie auf den Leib geschneidert.

Fazit: so wunderbar wie alle Vorgänger. Die kann ich immer wieder hören.
