It had potential but I just didn’t enjoy the way it was written even some of the smutty scenes were a bit bland. I wish there was more added to the plot because it would’ve been really good if it wasn’t so rushed.

Throuplesome

Samantha is a librarian, and an author of smutty romance. She has had a unrequited passion for her guardian for years, Gideon, and secretly sends him her stories. Terrence is a guardian of a different kind, and she has the hots for him, too.
With vivid sex scenes, both from her stories and Sam's life, this is a hot novel. There is also some suspicious activity going on, and exes around. An almost HFN with a bit of a cliff-edge teaser.
Enjoyable.

I really enjoyed this one!
Just downloaded it a few days ago for free, on stuff your kindle day.
At the beginning of the story I got a bit distracted by all the different character names and having no clue who they were lol.
Overall I liked the story, but I’m not sure that I’m interested enough to read the other books as well.

I read this is one day and had such a good time. Little did I know it is part of a bigger world by Calista Jayne so you know I’m going to have to start from the beginning. But this was pretty good. Is it groundbreaking writing - not exactly, but was it a good time - definitely!

We follow;

Samantha, an erotic romance author writing under a pen name.
Gideon, Samantha;’s Guardian who never really knew how to show her any love and affection whilst growing up, and
Terrence, a body guard Samantha met whilst he was running protection on a friend.

They all attend a throuple wedding where Samantha is the Maid of Honour, Gideon is a guest of the two Grooms and Terrence is the Best Man. Our story begins here and we essentially follow two dominant men and one feisty female as two seperate couples. But is there a way they could all be together? I mean they just attended a wedding showing it can work. But can they learn to share?

What a great book and beginning of a series! There is some drama, some intrigue, a wedding and a ton of HOT! Samantha's luck has hit the bottom when she still has to share an apartment with her ex and his new "girlfriend", her uncle gets involved, there's a fire, and so much more going on with Terrence and Samantha's former guardian. Gideon - it's just WOW. I love how Samantha lives in San Esteban and works at The Corbin Library, which both appear on other series by Calista. GREAT beginning to the series.

She tangles up with a bodyguard that she shares a past attraction with at a location wedding. Two dominants and a sassy female in pairs, but could they be all together? Can the guys learn to share? Should be a 3.5 score. Just could not get invested in the characters. The three main characters (MFM) seem so flat and undeveloped. I admit I am a bit disappointed because there is potential. The story line is interesting but jerky in parts which can be a bit distracting. The cliffhanger to the next book left me wanting to throw my Kindle at the wall - what the h*#@. Probably not going to continue to the next book.

A surprisingly upbeat girl meets two boys at a friends wedding. The girl is the maid of honor at the wedding of a throuple. One boy is her former guardian, the other boy is the best man for the two grooms. The girl is an author of smut. Her former guardian she has wanted in a woman’s way for the last 5 years. The other boy she become interested at the wedding. This is their story, of on again off again relationship, until they finally realize it’s best to share.

The first dad's best friend book I've read but I don't think it was a great place to start. When it said dad's best friends I wasn't expecting for him to have been her guardian when she was growing up. I think it would have been fine if it weren't for the fact that the author was really trying to hammer in the fact that he didn't have these feelings until she was an adult. But other than that it was ok. For me personally I will not be finishing the series.

The filth that makes you want more 😏

The spice the chase, age gap, her protectors... feeling loved. The unconventional love that seems so wrong and yet so right so now, loving her dads dom bf and her bodyguard. Love the direction this is leading the thrill along the way so well written and enjoy the double narrative sounds dumb but Sammie narrative lust is amazing like smut within a smut book im here for this 😉

This is the introduction to Samantha, Gideon, and Terrence's story. It gives great characterizations. Samantha has a feisty personality and her chemistry with Gideon and Terrence has sparks flying. This is an exciting read where danger has just been introduced. I am very excited to read the rest of this series.

Quick filthy little read

Good storyline although predictable towards the end. Nice unexpected spicy scenes. Enjoyed the other characters that weren't the main characters and have questions about their stories which I am assuming will become clearer in the next books in this series

I enjoyed this tale of Samantha, Gideon and Terrence.
I like how Samantha was a closet indie author and showed some of the struggles that the authors go through. There was a nice predictable storyline where you knew there was going to be the 3 of them and an exhibitionist kink.
An easy read, and similar to other books of Calista Jayne.
