That’s how long Sebastian Prescott and Kayla Bristowe have been together. And while they’ve had their ups and downs, they’ve built a life together. A home with the promise of a future.
So then why hasn’t Sebastian proposed yet? Kayla can’t help but worry that he’s holding himself hostage to the demons of his past instead of looking to the future. A future that’s looking increasingly complicated because Kayla’s period is late, and she suspects she might be pregnant.
All Sebastian knows is that he would be lost without Kayla. She’s his reason for living, his joy, his everything. But he can feel her pulling away, and the uncertainty is killing him. He knows he’s already waited too long, and something needs to give.

This is a short but sweetly satisfying read for fans of the series! If you're not caught up in the series to this point, beware--spoilers abound in this story. ;) I loved revisiting Seb and Kayla and seeing where all of the other Prescotts were in their HEAs.
This was the cutest book!!!! I’m so glad to catch up with Sebastian and Kayla!!!! I felt so bad for him for not being able to propose when he wanted to and then he was nervous Because he wasn’t good enough because of his past!!!!!
I love that this starts right in the middle of some... adult time. These two really know how to burn up the sheets. 🔥💣💥
“You like being my dirty girl, don’t you Kayla?” he rasped.
“I like being your anything, Bastian,” she whispered....
These two are delightful and fantasticly naughty. They are also sweet, supportive, and in need of a little shaking up - and I love how they get what they need. Even if the initial plans fall through.
Tissues are required for this novella. There are a lot of emotional moments throughout, not all between Kayla and Sebastian.
I read this as part of the Happily Ever Afters for Hope: A Charity Collection for UNICEF. To better enjoy their story, you should read where it all began for Kayla and Sebastian in Snow Job before reading this as it's essentially a very extended epilogue, but you can read this without reading their earlier story.
This book was an adorable follow up on the many relationships we’ve seen so far. Taking place just weeks after Burning Up where Felicity and Noah get together, we see all the previous chapters attending Lucien and Olivia’s wedding. Although the main focus of this book is on Kayla and Sebastian, we see into the first six couples relationships at this point. It is overall amazing. It also introduces the 7th cousin, only uncoupled man at this point taking his longtime friend to the wedding. Another friends to lovers novel for Hudson and Violet?! Also…. Am I sensing that we will get more info on the Irish hit man getting with Olivia’s friend?? I NEED the Kings of Hells Kitchen to all end up happy 🫠

A very satisfying follow-up to Snow Job with Sebastian and Kayla. They have been a couple for a while, living together in Lake Tahoe. The story takes place during Lucian and Olivia’s wedding, with appearances from the various Prescotts and their significant others. It is a sweet and hot story. Reading Snow Job first is required.
I know it would have meant the book was pointless but I wish there was a big fight/sudden frustated confession from Kayla so they would have had to talk (instead of how the proposal played out and fixed everything). I wish Seb planned something separate from the wedding instead, it would have shown he could do it on his own without help from his family.
