With her med school internship close at hand, Jaz is finally ready to put her bartending days behind her. She had expected the nerves, as well as getting a little sentimental over leaving the club; what she was not prepared for was the blast from the past that blew into her going away party.

Eight years ago, Mike left for college out West, but news of his best friend’s engagement and the mention of his old flame had him applying for a new job on a whim… and he got it. Opportunity had brought him home to his family and friends. But would fate bring her back to him?

Despite a rocky reunion and an agreement to remain friends, their passion was something neither of them could deny. But just under the surface lies a long-held secret that threatens everything. Will the truth of the past destroy Jaz and Mike’s future or is their love destined to be saved?

We get to know Jaz a little in the other books, but this book is all hers and it was epic. The struggles she has gone through, the dedication she has to her goals, and the friendships she has built along the way, were all so wonderful to read about.
Mike is one of Jason's friends (I am a huge Jason fan so it was delightful to get to see more about him, and watch his character growth - insert dreamy eyes here)
Mike also has a past with Jaz.
After going away for awhile, he moves back and the reconnection of these characters is filled with sparks, sizzles, heat, angst, and passion.
Definite must read, especially if you have read Served and Stroked in this series. This story is wrapped all the way around my heart and I hope the author writes even more books in this series so we can see how much Mike and Jaz develop over the time (see back to my statements about Jason.)

If you’ve not read any of April’s books I HIGHLY recommend The Club series. Sweet and spicy…always a Cinnamon roll…a little drama…relatable and so good!

We didn’t get to know Jaz very well in the first 2 books but I loved getting to know her better in this one. Her commitment to reaching her goals is amazing, but I think what she went through and the choices she made are what make her story such a great read.
But Mike though…he’s perfect! Their history hurt my heart but the way it hit him completely ripped it from my chest 😭 the awkward reunion, finding out the truth, everything…Mike and Jaz have so much history that coming back together hurts the reader while it hurts them—but it’s WORTH IT.

These books touch on heavy topics in a way that honors the importance without diminishing the impact or experience so CHECK TRIGGER WARNINGS. 🖤

Cinnamon and spice and everything thing nice!! A story of that first love from high school that didn't make it through college due to "distance" comes back home. It stirs up old memories, feelings and forgotten truths that she had kept to herself all these years are about to hit her heart hard and doesn't know how to deal with it. Should she be friends or just keep ignoring him. Well lets just say ignoring the issue doesn't work when you find out he will be working at the same hospital with you.

I have to say this book intrigued me because I love the other 2 books in the series and wasn't expecting it to turn into a high school love return and it actually works in their favor but boy the spicy tidbits and the the random comedy to the tearful moments this book kept me wanting more!

I love this series.

I missed the second book, so with that in mind, I was able to effortlessly read this one without feeling like I had missed something crucial to the story. I love a series that works well as stand alones because sometimes my schedule doesn’t allow for me to read as much as I’d like.

This story is between Jaz and Mike who had been sweethearts earlier in life but called it off when their relationship became long distance. Now, after all this time, Mike is moving back to their home town… where she lives.

Close proximity is always something I love to read. I love the forced, flustered interactions that come from it.

This book did not disappoint! I’ll have to go back and read the second: Stroked now!!

4 ⭐️ / 2 🌶️

Jaz has worked at the club for a really long time and is on the home stretch of her dream of becoming a doctor. But fate has a funny way of stirring things up so in walks Mike… Jaz’s ex-boyfriend. Is it finally our girl’s turn to leave the club, spread her wings and… fly right into the arms of the one who got away? Could it be that easy?

This was a sweet second chance romance that dealt with some harder issues so please make sure to check the trigger warnings.

I really enjoyed the book and though less spicy than the books I’ve been reading currently, I would definitely recommend it. Another plus for me was the fact we get to see characters from previous books and what I hope are characters that will get their own books in the future.

All the feels and more in this heart driven third installment of The Club series. I listened to it and pretty much went in blind because all I knew about Jazz was she was a bartender and quiting to start her clinicals to become a doctor. Mike was an unknown, but incredibly likeable. Sparks fly as they come face to face for the first time since Jazz broke things off in college. There is a tw, so pay attention. It's not the longest book in the series, but for me, definitely the most emotional. I loved this entire series!

Well, I am a bit of an emotional wreck now. I knew that Jaz's story was going to be an emotional one as she was always just a bit held back. This second chance story was everything you could want and more. The way that there is a gravitational pull between these two and the reactiveness they have with each other had me melting.
Eliza Summers did a truly beautiful job bringing these characters to life. Getting the depth of emotions to bring you right in with the characters.

Second chance romance at its finest. Jaz and Mike were high school sweethearts that drifted apart after college. However, neither of them forgot about the other.

Now Jaz is beginning her medical internship and Mike is back in town to work as a CNP.

I enjoyed reading about how Mike and Jaz danced around rekindling their relationship. This book hit all the feels.

Like other readers of this series, I have been waiting for Jaz's story. I didn't think I could like anyone more than Jaz, but then April Berry created Mike. He is an amazing character, and their love story will hit you in the feels.

This entire series is *muah* chef’s kiss! Once I started reading, I could not put this book down. I loved getting more of my favorite characters from Served (Jason and Lucy) and I loved getting more of Amy and Val from Stroked. I am fully invested in these characters, and I have loved this journey. Now, we get Mike and Jaz added to the group and I am in love. I cried more times than I would like to admit, while reading this book. It was all happy cries, though, which are the best. April Berry is such an amazing author and draws you into her stories. I have enjoyed every moment of this series

I'm a sucker for second chance, in fiction. Even more when there is absolutely no cheating. So I was excited for Saved when April hinted at what to expect in the second book of the series. Jaz is fantastic, smart, motivated, and ready to stick to her goals. Of course a man has to move back to town and ruin all of her carefully laid plans. Except it's not just any man, it's the Mike, the only man she's loved, and who still loves her.

“Jasper, it’s still you. It’s only ever been you.”

This!!! This right here! Give me an MMC who's been pining for the FMC since that night, and I will absolutely devour the book in one sitting. But, you can always count on April to give you swoon-worthy men.

Saved is Book 3 in The Club Series. This is Jaz and Mike's story. I was so Excited to dive back into this series. I loved getting a glimpse of some of my favorites. We've only got a snippet of Jaz and Mike in the past Books. No one writes the Cinnamon Roll hotties quite like April and when she adds the Spice it's Oh. So. Good. Mike has stolen my Whole Heart and I don't even Want It Back! Oh, Jaz you sweet selfless Girl. The Emotions were so Real, I ugly cried many times. Can this Beautiful Couple get past the secrets and hurts to reach Their Second Chance Romance HEA? I Loved Every Single Minute Of This Book. Can't wait for more in this series..Definitely Your Next 5 ⭐ Read..
