Pull quote/note
"'Compared with some of the regular customers, Billy Furball is like the Prince of Wales.'
'Hey!' Billy Furball shouted. 'Am not!'
'I just meant you were like some elegant person, that's all,' Lucy Fang said.
'I hate those royals,' Billy Furball said.
Billy Furball is an antimonarchist." (14-15)

The cover of the book is similar to the rest of the series of this book. The pictures throughout the book are in black and white. It looks like the pictures were done with pencil. The description of the author and illustrator are at the end of the book.

A member of the werewolf club was banned from the school lunchroom. The reason why is because he had a food fight with himself. The board of education psychiatrist Dr. Cookie Mendoza, said no one in the club was werewolves because they don't exist. There ends up being a boycott in the lunchroom.

This wasn't quite as strong as the first in the series, but I'm sticking with my five star rating. I was swayed by the ending (did you notice she was a meatball? oh yeah). Plus the inclusion of the chapter with the "note from the editor" about the things that were too ghastly and horrible for the eyes and minds of children, so the chapter was eliminated and they offer instead the nice picture of bunnies. These are all so delightfully absurd. I'm diggin this series, despite being much older than the suggested reading ages of 7-10.

I think I'm going to rate Pinkwater books different since it seems like my enjoyment is directly proportional to how much I want to eat at the places in his books.

This is a 4 star book because I'm really in the mood to eat at Honest Tom's Tibetan-American Lunchroom...I'll start with a Sauerkraut and Peanut Butter Sandwich followed by the Borscht w/ Toast and for desert some Tapioca Surprise (with the butter scotch candy hidden inside by Carla Lola Carolina)

Very quirky book, (2nd in the series), about a club of Werewolves that meet because, well, they're a little different than other kids. Their faculty advisor is also a werewolf. Punny type of jokes about wolves, dogs, etc.
I think most boys, on an easy reading level, would like.
