Olivia is a USA Today best-selling author of romantasy. When she’s not swooning over her characters’ steamy escapades, or plotting their demise, you can find her sipping wine and crafting her next twisted, romantic masterpiece, all while trying to convince her children and leading man that she loves them more than her laptop.
This is an exceptional book, and an even more exceptional series. It had so many things going for it! Lovers of many different genres alike will fall in love with this series!
I won’t give any spoilers but I do have to say- I have NEVER in my life been so engrossed in a story. In most series, you basically know what’s going to happen by the middle of the first book. This series had me guessing up until the very end. Cleverly written with relatable characters that you can’t help but love or well hate some of them but then love them again. I read all three within three days.. like didn’t sleep- read while I fixed my hair, while I ate and (don’t tell anyone) even at two social gatherings. I became so emotionally attached to the characters and fell in love with Cat!! I’m pretty sad now that it’s over.. definitely one of my top three favorite series. 🧚🏽♀️🧜🏽♀️
I received a free audiobook from the author and the review group Audiobx in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
I didn't realize this was the conclusion to Catori's series. I feel like I had just gotten completely invested in this world and now Cat's part is over. No more Ace cynically calling her kitty cat :( I am distraught.
In Rising Silver Mist we finally get to see the fae home of Neverra, which was incredibly exciting, though Catori is lured there on unfortunate circumstances. Catori never thought several things would happen including her murdering a fae, or agreeing to marry Cruz. But going to Neverra promises to awaken more powers than Catori knew she had.
This was such a wild ride. I really enjoyed the plot of this book, while the narrator was kind of monotonous, it did dull some of my enjoyment though not all. Catori and Ace's relationship is just the best and I love them so much. Besides them I've really grown to love all of the side characters, especially Lily. I am so worried for Lily and I need to read the fourth book so I can see what happens to her.
While this does wrap up for the most part, there are several things in the general world that I would like to know more about and I hope to get those answers in the spinoffs!
Mind blowing! There are no words to stay how much I loved this book! It has everything you may want: a wonderful romance, plenty of action and magic! A great resolution to this trilogy although I'm sad it's over...
This book was MUCH better than the first two in the series.
I thought the bio gave away what happened but I was pleasantly surprised.
The main character, Cat, is still potentially the most stupidest person I’ve ever read the POV from but Ace really does save it. She tries to keep secrets from him that shouldn’t even be secrets. When reading them I remember just thinking “why!! What’s the point of lying to him.” I can’t remember what it was about (it happened a number of times) but I just Rolled my eyes because there was no point to it. I think one of the times it was about why she was breaking up with him. The favour said she couldn’t tell Ace, but not that she couldn’t tell Lily.
The author also has so much going on and I found a lot of the time you didn’t know what way was up, where you were or what time it was and whether you were late to the ball or not. It was a shambles really. That could have had something to do with Cat being stupid and doing the most random, pointless things and then everyone being like “oh my god she’s amazing! I can’t believe it’s not butter!”
Cruz, I had no clue what the hell he was doing. Why not just say to Cat “look stupid, Mum can read minds when she touches you. So when around her just kinda don’t let her touch you, and maybe just try to think about food”. I felt like not telling her could have led to so many more problems. Like his mum seeing how much she hated him at the time, or how she felt about Ace, the fact it was NOT an alliance. You know, important stuff that in that situation you would rather go in knowing everything and being prepared 🤷🏼♀️ maybe just me though.
I also have no clue what the he’ll happened with Lily and Kajika 😳 does Kajika have feelings for Lily, does Lily have feelings for Kajika, does Cruz still love Lily, does Lily love Cruz still knowing why he was being a dick? Why did the author introduce Milly, who has no relevance to the story so late in the book an put such effort into Cat meeting her and her dad spending so much time with her? WHO KNOWS!! The book ended without telling us this. So god knows what’s happening back on earth but it’s bloody chaos.
I liked the idea of this story, and where it could have gone. I just felt like it was lacking a lot and structure just wasn’t really there. In saying that, I am not an writer nor could I write a book so hats off to the author for doing it 👍🏼
Is this book/series perfect? No. But is it highly addictive? Yes! This installment in particular had some brilliant twists and turn that I absolutely loved. I do think the final battle is too easy and quick though and wish it had been a little more complex. However, I really enjoy this world and the characters (especially Ace) and look forward to Lily's story in the next book!

Okay, I feel like Wildenstein has hit her stride with this one. The book felt more connected and cohesive. It also felt a lot like her other books I have read. Her characters still do things that I question, but I kind of like that. They think differently from me and things don't always go as I expect.
Some things do follow a lot of paranormal type plots, but I think it is her characters that always make me feel like the story is unique. They offer a different perspective than the way my mind works. I enjoyed the story in this one and I like that the main enemy has changed. Overall I felt that this book really shows how fun and addicting Wildenstein's books can be.
There are three things that I’m sure of: First, I would never kill anyone.NOT ANYONE! NOT EVER! But, when a family friend brutally murders my father, I destroyed her with a power that I hadn’t even known I possessed.
Second, under no circumstances would I ever make another bargain. But, faeries can bring back the dead, so when Cruz offered to bring my father back, of course I accepted.
Third, there was no way I’d ever marry an enemy! But, as I’ve learned, every bargain comes at a cost. What did my bargain cost me? I had to marry Cruz and move to Neverra, the faerie isle. For the first time in my life, I wonder if death might not be an easier and kinder end.
First off, I’d like to thank Olivia Wildenstein for granting me an ARC copy of her amazing novel, in exchange for an honest review. I understand that this in no way obligates me to give a positive review and this review, and the opinions expressed in it, are fully my own.
I can honestly say that this is the best book in the entire Lost Clan series. And, that’s really saying something, because they’re all fantastic. This book tied up a lot of loose ends that I wasn’t even aware existed and answered a lot of questions. I learned more about the characters that I loved and even the ones I loved to hate. I dearly enjoyed getting to know Lily better. There were moments when I wanted to smack Catori because I didn’t understand what she was doing and I flip flopped between being angry with her, for putting others so much ahead of herself that she put herself in pain or jeopardy, and admiring her for it. And, Ace was Ace! Sometimes I wanted to smack him, as well, for his seeming arrogance and what looked like cruelty. And, then, there was Neverra and all the new characters I met there!! This was such an emotional, exciting, action packed roller coaster of a story and I loved every moment! I’m very excited to learn that there will be a fourth book and I promise to *try* not to nag Olivia too much, but I cannot guarantee that I’ll be successful!
4.5 stars. This book was full of tension, drama, and new bumps in the road that make this an epic conclusion to this fantastic series!
I felt so bad for Catori being stuck in the middle between Ace and Kajika. You could just feel her frustration. That would drive me mad! One thing that FINALLY happened that I was really looking forward to was that we finally finally got to go to Neverra!
As much as I loved this story, Cat and Ace’s behavior really irked me. Cat’s decisions were extremely hasty and literally thought out for two seconds before making major changes in her life. I just didn’t buy the “protecting Ace” thing and felt she should have been way more open with him or at least sat on the idea for a longer period of time to make sure it was actually the right thing to do. Plus I really wish Ace would have fought for her more too instead of being cruel and acting like a child. Besides those extremely minor and personal irritations which didn’t affect the overall enjoyment of the story, I absolutely loved this world and series and look forward to more from this author!
What an epic ending to such a brilliant trilogy. I must admit I'm sad to have come to the end of The Lost Clan Trilogy. It's been one of those that captured my attention from the first page of the first book and just kept getting better and better.
This story is bursting at the seams. Magic, fearies, hunters, sealies,.unsealies, lies, 2 worlds. Fantastic characters that I just adored even Cruz.......
Olivia wildenstein gives you so much in these books written brilliantly. These are a must read and I'm thrilled to see a book coming from lily's point of view.
Such fantastic books I can't recommend these enough. Olivia has become one of my favourite authors and I'm planning on working my through all of her books.
I will admit that it was almost painfully bittersweet reading this because it is the last of Cat and Ace's saga (that I know of). I received an ARC of this and never have I been more grateful to be spared almost a month more of waiting. There were times when I wanted to smack Cat for being such a good person and caring about others and there were times when I revered her for it. Ace is.... well Ace. If you've read the two previous books, need I say more? If you haven't, well you should read the first two. Even when Ace is or is acting like an asshat, he's scrum-diddily-umptious while being so. I'm glad there was more of Lily to the story. She positively shined and I adore her even more now. The point is, if you're into romance, intrigue, and some twists you really didn't see coming, you should totally read this series. Your brain and your heart will thank you for it.
Rising Silver Mist is the third novel in the sensational Lost Clan series by Olivia Wildenstein and brings to a close Catori’s story with heart racing action, sizzling romance and edge of your seat surprises!
A lot has changed since Catori Price returned to her hometown of Rowan after her mother’s death. Not only has she discovered that faeries really do exist, but she’s descended from an ancient Native American tribe of hunters whose mission is to hunt and kill them. Oh, and she’s also fallen hopelessly in love with a faerie Prince who is also technically already engaged to someone else. And now, Cat finds herself drawn into dangerous fae politics and schemes when she accepts a bargain from an enemy in order to save her father’s life. Taken to the Faerie world of Neverra, Cat will need to draw upon hidden powers if she wants to prevent the destruction of all that she holds dear……
Olivia Wildenstein captivates once more with this thrilling latest instalment in her breathtaking faerie series. Mixing fae mythology with Native American folklore and heritage, the Lost Clan has been an absolute joy to read. Even though Wildenstein is set to thrill fans with a fourth novel, Raging Rival Hearts featuring characters Lily and Kajika’s story, Rising Silver Mist brings to an end the story arc featuring main character Catori. And with spectacular fashion I might add!
The intricate and intriguing way Wildenstein has woven this series together has always made for tremendous moments of action, romance and elements of mystery as various deceptions and revelations were revealed. I’ve loved the tone of the series which has always been fast paced, exciting and highly entertaining. Main character Catori has been wonderful to follow and I couldn’t fault her at all; she truly was just a stellar protagonist who has taken us as the reader on a fantastic journey with her at the helm.
Olivia Wildenstein has won me over with electric elements of romance woven into the story with Cat having three potential love interests in the series; Cruz, Kajika and Ace. Surprisingly Wildenstein manages for the most part to avoid the stereotypical love triangle (although in this case I think a square would be more accurate) perfectly with Cat very sure of her feelings quite quickly and adamant in who her heart belongs to. I won’t give away spoilers, but I’ve very happy that this guy managed to keep his girl as I just do love him oh so much.
Full of fun and so much life, the minor characters in this series offer perfect support throughout the series. It has been largely interesting waiting to discover their motivations and purposes within the story. I have highly enjoyed following Catori with Olivia Wildenstein winning a fan in me. My heart yearns for the moment I can join Lily and Kijaka in their story and I’ll be keeping my eyes out for Raging Rival Hearts so I can read it as soon as it releases!

An Emotive, Beautifully Written and Striking 5 Star Romance!!✨🔥🌳🌺,
I've loved this entire series but this book was definitely my favourite!!👍 No lie, I was misty eyed at 6% 🙈 This Author really knows how to pull my emotions out of me. No sobbing from me this time but I had a sore throat from holding emotions in quite a few times. Lol
I liked that the Author used many of today's hate, race & class issues in her Faerie World. Their Caste's & then their Class system had left little room for anyone of 'low rank' to raise themselves and their family's up, personally or financially!😢 It was awful & sickening but then humbling to see some people's reactions to it! 💔
The descriptions of 'Neverra' as a world are absolutely gorgeous. Luscious, full of colour & life! The majority of its people are kind, helpful & peaceful. Unfortunately some of the 'Caligosupra' or Elites, are utter pigs!!😡 They show no respect or care for the people struggling below them, it just amuses them!😢 The Marris or King, Ace & Lily's Dad, is one of the worst culprits!!👎 Cruz's mother is the Draca, A Dragon shifter that is supposed to protect everyone. She's who killed Kajika's wife Ishtu, She's extremely violent & vindictive, She has no remorse or love it seems!!😡 Thankfully not everyone is like them and hope begins as a tiny whisper in the mist🙏✨
Catori, Ace, Lily, Cruz & Kajika all have big parts to play in this storyline, even if they aren't all seen for chunks of time!! The spiralling tangle of these couples does not get any easier. Especially when a female Faerie brands a Hunter, Kajika, to save his life!!😱 He just loves that, as you can imagine!!😎 He's been training Cat to fight for self protection. He & Ace constantly argue over her safety around the other - Men!!😳
We find ourselves on Neverra for an official Engagement & a Wedding!!🎉We get to view it all through the wonder, awe & at times horror, of Catori's point of view.😎🌟
There are a lot of heart stopping events throughout this book. They come from all sides on Earth & in Neverra!😱💥 A mind reading Dragon, Expulsion from Naverra for a Royal - death when their fire runs out 😭, Catori becoming an Orphan, Finding out the full truth of her heritage! Through all of these awful circumstances and a lot more, Cat must keep standing & fighting. She no longer knows who she can trust in this foreign World and her heart can't cope with another bruise let alone one more heartbreak!!😭💔😭
A 5 Star Read. This series sucks you into its imagined Native American Tribe's tale and keeps you swirling & spiralling along with each page turned when you suddenly realise that's not what the story is about at all - You're in the middle of a Race War on a grand scale! Catori Price is their descendant but what exactly does that mean for her?? I really enjoyed finding out.🍀🙏✨🔥💥🌺 Oh and there's sexy Fae 😉
I can't even begin to describe how much I loved this book, but I'm going to have to try. This series was in last year's "favorite books of the year" list, and I'm already confirming that this book will make an appearance on this year's list.
The third installment of this series embodied everything I loved about the first two, but also managed to amp things up even more. The stakes are higher, the romance is steamier, and the enemies are much more deadly. If you thought that Catori and the gang had already been through the wringer, you haven't seen anything yet. I had some seriously sweaty palms reading some of these scenes. Also, while we're on the topic of sweat, let's talk about romance. There are some ~sTeAmY~ scenes in this book. Like, almost "make you blush" scenes. I loved it.
Steam and danger aside, I loved the character development and the relationships that form throughout the story. I refuse to give any huge spoilers, so I can't actually talk about two of my favorite character arcs, but I can talk about the friendship that forms and really strengthens between Lily and Catori. I love female friendships, and theirs is one of my favorites. Seeing two women who are so strong in different ways come together and support each other is truly the best.
Rising Silver Mist rounds out this series perfectly, but I'm still so sad to see it go. The author does have a spinoff planned for Lily, so I'm eagerly anticipating that to fill the hole in my bookish heart! I give Rising Silver Mist 5 out of 5 stars.
I absolutely LOVE LOVE this series! By far this 3rd book was my most favorite! I loved how it ended. All the action and suspense and surprises that happened was awesome. I am so HAPPY that Cat & Ace ended up the way they did. It gave me all the good FEELS for sure. Love love it! I definitely would love to see more of this story though. I need more of Cat & Ace haha. But also would love to see more of Lily & Cruz too. And more of Neverra. Author Olivia Wildenstein has made me fall in love with her story. I highly recommend this series as a must read, it's super addicting and definitely will make you a fan of it!
I received a free audio copy of this book directly from the author for an honest review.
I literally had to force myself to wait to listen to this book to review others on my list. An I’m sure to do the same again with the next one. 😂 I honestly think this deserves 5 star ratings as when I’ve been asked which books have been my favourite of this year this has always been one of the series I’ve ALWAYS mentioned! The characters are relatable I utterly adore Ace **does a little happy dance** ahem... and Catori is the sort of strong, thoughtful, kind person you would want to be like yourself to and her confusion and anger to situations are so true to life. The secondary characters although there are many all fit perfectly in a tangled web intricately designed to both add tension and constant twists to the plot that you never know which way is up or down. The magic inside this book honestly has been brought to life perfectly and I’m so grateful to have come across this series. Even more so I’ve discovered there’s two more books! I’m so so happy about this!
Today's review is on the third book of the Lost Clan trilogy by Olivia Wildenstein - Rising Silver Mist. This series has been a crazy ride and I thoroughly enjoyed it🤗. Thank you so much Olivia Wildenstein for providing us the ARC copies for the review❤❤
The third book has so much action and suspense packed in. I don't have words. It was AWESOMEE!! Catori Price now finally steps into the faerie world of Neverra😍 But the reason for that is her upcoming marriage😱 To whom??? Cruz Vega!! Damn.. this story was crazy. I couldn't tell what was real and what was an act😯 The cupola - the cage of nightmares definitely gave me the creeps😨!! I went all crazy and finished the book so fast because I wanted to know where it will end up! And I am satisfied with how it all came to a great ending with the hunters, the faeries and...Ahemm..other beings I wouldn't mention to avoid spoilers🤫 . I give this book a 5 on 5🔥🔥. It gave all I could ask for! The fantasy world, thrill, slight creeps and paranormal romance!! Just Perfect 💯 . I would love to read the spin-off novel Raging Rival Hearts to know more on Kajika and Lily! Especially, more now because it seemed like an open ending and I want to know if Lily will ever be able to see Neverra again🥺!!
**Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy of this book.**
Catori is growing tired of the push-and-pull game everyone in her life seems to play with her. The hunters want her to help them extinguish the faeries and the faeries aren't sure what to do with her. There are rules in the human world and a completely different set of rules in the land of the faeries. Cat isn't sure who to believe and which side to turn to.
Then the choice is taken away from her when she is forced to bargain with a faerie who may be an enemy. This leads to an engagement with a guy who already played her for a fool once. And it eliminates any chance she had of a life with the one man she does love. But her impending marriage is only one part of a larger plan to change the future of both the hunters and the faeries. If only Cat knew what the plan was and who to trust.
This was quite the conclusion. I have to say that I have grown to love and hate several characters throughout the course of the series. I didn't love our heroine, Cat, in the beginning, but she came to grow on me. I initially liked Cruz and Kajika, but began to dislike both at times. And I wasn't sure about Ace at first, then he quickly became my favorite character. So a lot obviously happened throughout the series, which lead to each character morphing in different ways.
It was a series full of twists and turns and not really a moment of silence or peace. This book was no exception to the rule of constant chaos. It kept me turning the pages, even when I didn't like what was happening in the story. The need to know how it would end was enough motivation to keep going at times when I seriously questioned our heroine's sanity.
But there is an oddly sweet love story to be found here. Beneath the stream of lies and backstabbing, we see our couple's true feelings begin to emerge. It wasn't the easiest path to happily ever after, but it was an interesting one. I can honestly say that I didn't see the second half of the book coming. I was sucked into the story and it didn't let me go until the very end. That's good storytelling. There was even a brief bedroom scene, which pleased my romantic side.
Something I don't typically do, but will in this case, is recommend this series be read not only in order but also consecutively. There are a lot of words and phrases used that are in different languages, those of the Gottwa and also the faeries. Not to mention the many characters seen throughout the series, most with abnormal names so it's harder to keep them straight. Taking an extended break between books can make it hard to pick up the story with so many odd words. And since the entire series is now available, there is no reason not to read them at once.
In closing... A fun read if you enjoy paranormal romances for young adults. 4.5 suns!
What an amazing ride! I have always loved fae/faerie stories, and this series is one of my favorites! I especially love the storyline. Olivia you have such a creative mind! I can’t wait to read the spin off of Lily and Kajika’s story next!!
Unbelievable, this last book in the series. Couldn’t put it down and when I finished, wished there was more. Don’t miss out once this book is released, you’ll be hooked on anything this author writes.
I have too many great things to say about this book. I loved it! The romance was beautifully crafted with seat gripping plot twists along the way. My only negative is I wish Catori’s story could’ve had another book after this. I felt like I just got a grasp of this world and the characters for it to come to a rushed end. Overall I loved it and would definitely read again.
A great ending for Ace and Cat and a new beginning for Lily and Kajiika. Excited to see how it all works out. Sad for Cruz. I hope he finds happiness. Im also very glad that certain people found their demise.
I think this series has ruined me for other books. Nothing has compared at all to it, and I am about ready just to reread the whole thing even though I just finished them not too long ago.
Luckily, I have Lily's book to read, still, but I'll tell ya, Cat is my number one favorite character. I haven't felt this strongly for a series of books since Karen Marie Moning's Fever Series. Seriously, they are just brilliant.
In this epic conclusion to an amazing trilogy, Cat goes to Neverra, and is betrothed. I never, ever thought that Cruz was a good guy. You had me completely believing he was evil incarnate, so well done on that amazing plot twist.
and Ace, his pain at seeing them together in the beginning broke my heart. I was so glad when she told him the plan, but leaving this vague because I don't want to give away too much.
This book had everything I love in a good story. Plot twists, action, romance, and amazing characters, all of which I loved in their own right.
I don't have to say anything more because I've said enough already. If you have read these books, go buy them and start them today. They are amazing!
What a Rollercoaster this book had been. Each book so far has been fast paced, full of emotion and insane twists some so crazyy you got whiplash from them. I liked the ending and am extremely interested in what Lilly and Kajika will be up to in the next book.
