This is a heartwarming book that you can dive right in to. This story feels like a hug from home. One of those long, sad hugs at first, but then it turns in to the most warm, bittersweet hug. I admit, I shed some tears but then within a few seconds, the author has you laughing through the those tears! Her sense of humor shines through on every page. Her story is so relatable, it could be yours or mine. I feel so privileged that she has shared it with us and she has reminded me to laugh through it because humor heals. This uplifting memoir will touch your heart. Pour a glass of wine or a cup of tea, sit, relax and read!

So relatable!

Susan does an amazing job in telling her story - the good and the terribly sad. Sprinkled with life lessons and humor, she shares her voice and perspective with such honesty and transparency that it's hard not to think of her as a close friend. That's the power of the written word.
