Mount Olympus has remained untouched for centuries and newly appointed Queen of the Gods, Keira, coerces her god-king husband, Zeus, that should change. With the mortal holiday of Thanksgiving looming and plans for the future of the Olympians need to be made, Keira calls on the other brothers, Poseidon and Hades, along with their Queens for family time--feasting, drinking Ambrosia wine, and a little business on the side.
An adult romance writer who has been writing since she could pick up a pencil. After the insanity of obtaining a bachelor’s and master’s degree in cybersecurity, creating worlds to escape to still ate at her very soul. She started writing FanFiction (which can still be found if you scour the internet 😉 ), and soon felt the need to get her original ideas on paper. And so the adventure began.
She lives in Colorado with her husband and two fur babies, and revels in an enemies to lovers trope with a slow burn.
This was such a fun novella and just perfect for this day to start my Thanksgiving Day off! I absolutely adored this book and it was worth the wait. I am so curious to see where the author is taking this series because I can tell you that I am completely captivated by this one here. I am not sure exactly what the author has planned ahead but she definitely has more books in the future if this book is any indication. I have just adored these books so much! If you love mythological contemporary fantasy, then you definitely need to try these. In this novella, it was a fun gathering between the three top royals in the Olympus Realms....Zeus, Poseidon and Hades with their queens. Seeing them get together, and enjoy celebrating Thanksgiving together was so wonderful! And there is a sexy scene with food and Zeus and his queen on the table so I was all for that! Definitely intrigued to see where this author will be taking this series and what is ahead! BRAVO Carly Spade!
I absolutely adore Keira and Zeus! They are perfect together. Watching them come together with their counterparts was pure enjoyment. I loved every moment. Within a few pages, the author paints a vivid portrait of the halls of Olympus with its godly characters celebrating a very human holiday.
I’m a huge fan of every one of the holiday books in this series. They are fun, lighthearted, and give an updated look at my favorite couples. This one is all of that and more as it teases us with what might be coming up next. And I absolutely cannot wait to see what’s in store!
What a fun continuation of the Contemporary Mythos series in the novellas! I enjoyed the little nod the brothers do about meeting up quarterly (referencing Valentine's Day), but as we know, there's already a Valentine's Day novella. So then they reference Spring. Fingers crossed - that means we get a spring novella. Plus, we're finally on the venture for the next part as we join (spoiler) Simon and Cora search for their daughter! Zeus and Keira were one of the my favorite pairs of the series so far, so to see them together again with the novella focus in their POV was fun.
Also, note that I read this at the dinner table while my family was in the kitchen. Yes, there's two spice scenes, but for the pros - can definitely be read with a straight face.
Had the opportunity to speak with the author after a buddy read with podcast cohost AOFAE Laura (https://www.goodreads.com/acofaelaura) and we speak more on the series here:
A smoldering sweet story of family gatherings of the three god kings and their newly appointed queens! A little bit of business mixed with a delicious dinner, what else could possibly happen?!
Loved this addition to Carly’s holiday novellas! Loved seeing Zeus and Kiera hosting this one and seeing Hades and Poseidon again too!
Absolutely loved everything about this little novella as it continues the series of our fave Gods & Goddesses. Only hate how short they are because I neeeeeeed more! I am impatiently waiting to devour more of this series so that we can learn more about what's to come and Rhode! Cannot wait for the next one!
This was a short lil read. There isn’t much of a plot, but, it’s 100% okay because there’s literally 50 pages. This novelette did, however, set up a good conflict for the full length series that these characters tie in from.
Also, loved that the book opened up with a scene. Twas fun to jump directly into.
I loved this one out of all the holiday mythos. It was good to read about the brothers getting along and for poseidon to get the approval. I am curious to see what will happen in this book world.
3.75 💫 This was so heart warming and with a few good steamy scenes. The family is back together, and it was so cute imagining Zeus Hades and Poseidon together at dinner with their Queens. The dancing 🤣
No me ha gustado nada. La traducción al español está pésima, hay muchas cosas sin sentido. Tal vez sea la traducción que leí. Pero en lo personal lo encontré sin sentido.
