Shame on You #3

Then You're Mine

Rate this book
I wish I’d known before it got to this point so I could have stopped it. I'd have chosen her above all else... if only I could go back. Even if it meant never getting to kiss her, to love her, to be consumed by the woman she is and the love she gave me.

The only thing I know as truth now is that it’s all my fault and it’s all too late.

Her dark eyes hold obvious pain and misery, so much regret, but more than anything I know she looks back at me, her grip slipping, because she loves me.

She has no idea how much I love her, though.

This can’t be how our story ends.

I’ll burn the world down if that’s what it takes. I’m never letting her go.

Willow started writing after having her little girl, Evie, December 2015. All during her pregnancy with Evie she continued to read and she only wanted to read romance. She was reading a book a day — sometimes two.

In January 2016 Willow was staying up late with Evie and just thinking of all these stories. They came to her constantly so she finally sat down and just started writing. She always wanted to do it so she figured, why not? Today Willow cannot be happier for making that decision!

It’s release day!!! The trilogy is finally complete! I know I’ve made you wait for this one but the end is finally here! Careful tho – this book put me through it! It is dark and spicy and all things heart stopping!

Declan Cross is the youngest Cross brother but this book takes place 10 years later when it’s all on his shoulders and OMG the emotions destroyed me. I’ve never cried so many tears. (I made it hot as hell to make up for it tho!)

Snag your copy of Then You’re Mine here: https://geni.us/soytym

Ps the ebook for book 1 is only .99 for a little while longer too! Grab Tease Me Once here: https://geni.us/soytmo

Rating: 5 FUCKING STARS! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Spice: 5/5 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Then You’re Mine is book three in the Shame On You series by Willow Winters. This is Declan’s and Braelynn’s last book, I already knew it was going to be amazing but I’m awe-inspired. Willow DELIVERED with this one, honestly she out done herself.

This book is a BDSM, dark erotica romance novel, with some suspense and mystery. This book ends with a HEA and it was worth the wait. I honestly devoured this and I couldn’t stop reading it. I knew once this hit my screen, nothing else mattered. This has been my most anticipated book for this year.

From the Merciless world, Declan and Brae have to be my favorite couple. Who knew Declan Cross could be so tender, and vulnerable with Brae all while staying so dominant. It was so refreshing to see his softer side and how he humbled
himself for his woman. Declan proved his love and that Braelynn is his queen. I love how he got her justice and put it in her hands, so she had control over it. Then he respected her wishes to not be involved ever again. These brothers always protect their woman and get them justice.

This was such a beautiful way to tie up the series. I love the Cross Brother’s and their wives. I have loved getting to learn all these characters and follow them on their journey. They are so well written, they just capture you and pull you in. Making you wish you be a part of their story.

I loved this more than I should have, book two broke my heart and left me torn but I knew book three was going to heal all and it did more than that.

Happy Reading ❤️‍🔥

I received an ARC of Then You’re Mine for review, this is my honest opinion.

"I kiss him like I trust him again. I know I shouldn’t do that. I should keep looking for a way out . A way to fix this myself. I know better than most that you can’t rely on anyone else in life, no matter how much you want to."

After this spectacular quote, what can I say.. I'm in minority here.

First books was interesting and promising (rated 3.5 and for GR 4). Second book was more troublesome than I wanted, and miscommunication was a big let down for me (rated 3). And now we are here - with the last installment for Declan and Braelynn...

I don't even know what I wanted from this book anymore. At the end, when I think about all 3 books, they felt rushed and repetitive. And the whole situation with the 'rat' was not executed properly. Wasn't Declan like the smartest one between brothers? Did no one realize that they should check video archives first? I'm no professional, but even I would do that first. This plot fell flat for me.

I didn't like how Declan had trust issues for the majority of the book yet at the some time he sort of understands that he loves her. OK. My dude, maybe ask and try to understand 'your pet' better than just blindly do the typical thing? I understand that series is heavy in the BDSM scale, but I didn't enjoy how he was using sex against her or having it as a means of communication.. Like no. Just no. I even skipped some spicy parts in this book because I felt angry about many actions by MC and FMC.

And Braelynn - please stand up for yourself! I felt drained and tired of her way of thinking and accepting everything so easy. Well not easy, but.. Ugh. If you read it, you will understand what I mean. And the scene with her, brothers and N! She did what now!? She was already in mentally unstable place and they offer her to do this?? I just threw up my hands and had a long sigh.. And scene with her mom and her reactions about THE news. Mother, spare me.

This review is def. 'me problem' as I see a lot of people enjoyed this. I'm sorry, but I needed to put out my emotions here.

Thank you to Willow Winters, for providing an eARC in exchange for an honest review! All thoughts are my own and left voluntarily.

I somehow enjoyed the conclusion of Declan & Braelynn’s story, even though it got boring & repetitive real fast.
The reveal of the “rat” was anticlimactic considering I had an idea who it was. Makes me wonder how it took the notoriously Cross brothers this long to figure it out. Also who doesn’t check security feeds after a breach like this? Smh.
Their trust issues lasted longer than I should’ve but I’m glad they got over that and leaned into their HEA.

After an intriguing series starter, and a slower book with at least some violence and a thrilling cliffhanger to compensate, I felt this last book didn’t offer much. Besides Declan, that is.

Ultimately, the situation in which we left Braelynn and Declan at the end of the previous book only brought some love confession. It may feel huge, but it basically changes nothing in their relationship, and only confuses Braelynn more.

Her hesitation and fears annoyed me a great deal. The author often writes such female characters, but I felt Braelynn was the perfect embodiment. As in I could barely stand her. At first, at least. She seemed to get a bit more agency by the end of the book, and I loved that. I guess she was mostly insecure and confused.

As for Declan, once he admits his feelings for Braelynn, there’s little he wouldn’t do for her, and it shows in his actions. What I enjoyed the most about him? He isn’t afraid to express his emotions–as far as it won’t make him look less like a ruthless boss. With his bothers, on the other hand, he lets go in the most spectacular fashion. I have a soft spot for a strong man crying.

The author concludes the betrayal arc, but I felt it was rushed. The clues and revelations appear almost suddenly, and the Cross brothers don’t need to think much before they plan their retribution. It was somewhat anticlimactic.

There was a little something I liked a lot though. We know the Cross brothers are really protective of each other. What we also see a lot in this universe, it’s their women sticking together. What I discovered with Braelynn and Declan, it’s Cross men being protective of their brother’s woman. Especially Carter, who’s often shown as emotionless. Swoon worthy.

I’m not exactly disappointed, mostly because Declan was a great character, but I feel like it could have been better.

Declan Cross and Braelynn Lennox may have a tumultuous relationship but they can’t stay away from one another. When danger keeps threatening their connection can either truly trust the other? This is the final book in the trilogy and we pick up where book 2 left off. Is anyone safe when the Cross brothers are involved? This is the perfect ending to this steamy action packed series. I love that we get more of the other cross brothers too. Fall in love with an a Cross…or all of them! Told in dual POV

I received this as a ARC ! And I absolutely LOVE this. This is an amazing finale of Braelynn and Declan. There is a HEA which is amazing and completely worth it. Declan and Braelynn have honestly a toxic relationship but they can’t seem to stay away from each other no matter what !
I will say tho that no matter what tries to come in between their relationship and break it THEY DO NOT LET IT !

2/5 listened as an audiobook. This went so downhill but I persevered to give you all the final review. By the middle of this one I was so annoyed with the FMC haha. I also could have told you who the rat was at the end of the first book but ya I stuck around for the steamy parts.

Then You're Mine is the third book in Declan and Braelynn's story.

The book starts off where the second book ended with Declan and Braelynn being arrested. Once Declan found out that Braelynn was telling the truth he vowed to take care of her and they agree to get married. Braelynn is still a little skeptical about Declan and his brothers but she starts to build that trust once again. In this book we get to finally see Declan's softer side. We got to see Declan's dominant and possessive self during the first two books, but in this one we really get the glimpse of how soft and passionate he can be to the woman he loves. In my opinion, the spice is so much better than in the last book.

It's a great end to Declan and Braelynn's story. This also opens the door to read about the other Cross brothers. Carter & Aria, Daniel & Addison, or Jace & Bethany if you haven't already.

Thank you to Willow Winters, I received an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Then You’re Mine was a great read, it wrapped up Declan & Braelynn’s story so well & had the perfect amount of spice.
Braelynn went through so much in the first two books, it was nice to see her get compassion & understanding from Aria & Addison to help her process everything. Declan showed more vulnerability in this book, it was sweet how much he opened up to Braelynn, even though he knew there was a chance she wouldn’t believe him fully. I’m happy they got their happy ending!

ARC review

I was given an ARC, and I absorbed this book. I loved how it concludes the story of our two main characters while also tying in and possibly setting up future books in this world. I loved the spice, it just adds a whole other level. I will also add I love the epilogue as it just concludes everything even better than I thought.

Willow Winters ended this book perfectly! Declan and Brae's story was intense, DARK and hot to say the least. It pulled me in from book one all the way through to the last book. I honestly wasn't ready to say goodbye to the characters! As always the author delivered an outstanding and all-consuming plot that had my mind reeling days after finishing the book.

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I am happy with how this one turned out. A lot of the things I was struggling with turned out okay in the end.

I feel like we finally made some headway in their relationship!! They talked (more than they had previously, but still not very much) and she was able to tell him how she felt. I’m glad she finally put her foot down and let him know that she was not okay with things. She finally felt like she had more of a spine. I know that she went through a lot of trauma, but she needed to be able to stand back up and go “Nope. Not gonna do this.” And I’m so glad they figured it out with her mom ❤️ and how honest about everything Declan was. Because now I feel like they will both be happy. Declan gets to marry her and she gets to marry him and have her mom on board.

And I’m so glad that Braelynn got to hang out with the other wives!! She needed some other interaction at that house other than Declan. People who understood why she was feeling the way she was and would help her come back out of the depression she was in. And talking to a therapist. Love, love, love.

And the spice 🥵🥵🥵🔥🔥. Definitely about it when they’re trusting each other. It feels more raw. It was sooo good.

Overall, this trilogy was good. I am glad I got to read it! I will definitely be reading the others in this world. I want to know more about the brothers for sure!

Thank you to Wildfire Marketing Solutions for sending me an ebook Advanced Readers Copy for me to read and leave an honest review.
-------------------------

Having picked up this series from book two, I was instantly enamoured with the thrilling and passionate story woven with the two main characters, Declan Cross and Braelynn Lennox. Book two left us on the cliffhanger of all cliffhangers--something I'm not usually fond of as a reader--but I just knew book three would be worth dangling off the edge of the cliff for and I was right!

If you want to find out what happens in book two, I highly recommend that you go back all the way to book one, Tease Me Once, and start from where it all began. It's one hell of a ride to get to this point but I promise you--and your feels--its all worth it in the end.

Dante and Braelynn have walked through the worse of the fires of their under-hellish world, but have they been left burned by those flames or have they risen above them like a phoenix, ready to begin a new? Only time will tell. If only time was something that was on their side. It, like Declan's patience, is close to running out. Time is ticking down quicker by the second to put to bed--and to prove innocent--that whom Declan holds the most dear, all while keeping his underworld aloft and afloat. It's doable, but at what cost?

From the moment that I was introduced into this world, this series specifically, there was no going back. This isn't my first dalliance with a Cross brother, so I was immediately in when I had the chance with book two, to continue that exploration of all things Cross and W.Winters. Special thanks must go to Willow and her assistant, Sophie, as I was lucky enough to win a signed giveaway of books one and two, which allowed me to go back to book one and see how things came to be the way they were in book two. I now have both proudly on my shelf and I'm honoured to now have three Willow books to my growing paperback collection.

Everyone needs a spot for Willow on their shelves.

Looking forward greatly to my next read from this incredible human being!

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review. Thank you to the author and Bookfunnel.

This is the third and final book in the Shame on You trilogy of Declan and Braelynn. I’ve read and reviewed the other two before and enjoyed them immensely. I liked this one all the same.

Things I liked/Loved:

First off, without giving away too much, I loved the apology. I was sore on that since the second book, and let’s face it, Braelynn deserves so much more than an apology. I believe in accountability and acknowledging your wrongs, so Carter got good brownie points from me. I wish I could say the same for Declan, but I’ll get to that in a moment. I loved the support system that Braelynn gets in this book. I kind of saw the plot twist coming, but I liked how it played out. The spice was spicy, and the plot didn’t drag on.

Things I didn’t like:

I think between the three books, I feel like I liked him less here. He apologizes, but it’s not specific enough for me. Declan says things like “sorry I got you into this” or “sorry anyone has ever hurt you”, but to me, these are broad statements. Even though he is included in it, it’s not a true apology for how HE hurt her or what HE has done specifically. I’m assuming that since it’s ends immediately after everything, that we assume that he spends the rest of their lives making it up to her. This is a personal bias, and I realize that. I feel strongly that Declan, not just Carter, should be apologizing as well. Also, I kind of disliked how he called her naïve so much. According to my kindle, he called her his “naïve girl” about 9 times, but it felt like all the time (probably because he called her that in the other books too). She went through hell and back sir, and naïve is not a word I’d use on her anymore. Innocent? Yes. Naïve? No.

All in all, I did like the book and the world. I liked it enough that I wanted to know about the other brothers, so I did purchase All He’ll Ever Be which is Carter and Aria’s story. I’ll be looking forward to that.

This book had everything in it about how I wanted this series to end.

Easy 5 stars (again)
This book had a beautiful full circle moment in my opinion and Braelynn got to take revenge for the wrong that had been done against her. Declan being there for her every step of the way shows how much he loves her and cares for her! These 2 have my whole heart as a couple but individually aswell. 2 very strong, very well written main characters with their own trauma and rough past who find each other and love each other so deeply, I absolutely loved it.

Willow Winters her writing style is so damn good. I really flew through each book in this series and with every book, I forgot that I was actually reading.

I was really happy to get into the arc team for this series and Willow Winters really became one of my favorite authors for sure!! Can’t wait to read more of her books/series and I think I will begin with the other Cross brothers stories!

Overall, this series is an easy 5⭐️, I absolutely loved it and I will defenitely recommend this series to A LOT of people.

Then You’re Mine is the anticipated conclusion to the Shame on You trilogy focusing on the youngest Cross brother, Declan. Braelynn is still reeling and processing everything that has happened since entering Declan’s world and trying to make peace with what it means to be with Declan. Declan and his brothers are still looking for the other rat in their midst. Caught up in all of this Braelynn is pushed in ways she never thought she would be pushed and still she never broke. The end was sweet and a bit anticlimactic for me because I was waiting for the cliffhanger that isn’t there 🤦🏽‍♀️😂 Overall, it was a great conclusion to Braelynn and Declan’s story, wish I could say more but I don’t want to spoil it for everyone

I’m not sure which one of these books was my favorite. All I know is Willow Winters is now my favorite author.

Declan & Braelynn’s story is so tangled, dangerous & beautiful. I could not put it down! And honestly, I’m sad that this is the end - I could read what goes on between those 2 forever! Then You’re Mine isn’t quite as steamy as the first two books, but I adored that we got to see their true love blossom. Don’t get me wrong, what would those two be without passion, but the honest bare emotions in this book were so amazing.

Definitely a Willow Winters fan for life! And I’m definitely reading the rest of the Cross brothers stories now!

The last book is a nice ending of the serie. The last two books where brutal but this last book is more kinder to Braelynn. Once again did Willow write a succes story about Duncan and Braelynn. You can easily read this shame on you serie without reading the rest of the Cross brother series. Loved the maffia brother love between the four of them. Carter and Duncan are the most in the picture in this book and we see more of Aria here in too. Once again this is definitely a good recommendation!

I really loved being able to read all 3 books in succession.

Book 3 wrapped up very well-the rat was who I thought all a long! I was so thrilled to see Declan’s emotional/sensitive side, Carters too. I also enjoyed Braelynns mom and how assertive her character was and how she stayed true to that.

A fantastic trilogy that won’t disappoint!

Listened to the last book as an audio because I was sick of work getting in the way of my time with Declan.

This series started a bit 🙃🌶️🌶️🌶️
Then got much more thrilling 👀⛓️
And ended nicely with minimal spice 🌶️🌶️

I spent the whole time thinking the rat was her friend when she looked at their messages in the shops so the reveal threw me.

Anyway, not sure what to do with my spare time now…

The Shame on You series is the first one I have read of W. Winters and now I’m wishing I had read every. single. other. book. in this Cross-brother universe leading up to this — and now I probably will 😂 I basically flew through “Tease Me Once” and “I’ll Kiss You Twice” to get to “Then You’re Mine” because the story was that captivating! The cliffhangers leading up to “Then You’re Mine” were SO not fair in the best way.

Declan and Braelynn have been THROUGH it this series and their loyalty and trust have been constantly questioned but the love they have for one another kept them moving forward getting them their HEA. What we know so far coming into “Then You’re Mine” is that Declan and his brothers are rulers of the underworld and they have been betrayed, and even though they thought they found the culprit, and dealt with it, they have been so very wrong the entire time — this will surprise you because I did not see it coming! 🤯 As Braelynn is stuck in Declan’s home, she questions everything and is sick of being a prisoner. He promises her forever but they keep hitting roadblocks left and right, not seeming to get there. A decision to help protect Declan from the law starts as a transaction but turns out to be the answer both Braelynn and Declan needed. They found their HEA in the midst of a lot of turmoil and trial after trial.

Even though I came into the Cross universe at the tail end, I didn’t feel like I missed anything — the story telling that Winters does keeps you present and totally on track to follow the story line. Declan is the owner of this swanky, sexy club and the spice throughout the series is good but I could have used more! Declan has a mouth on him and ya girl needed some more time with that 🤣 Winters created a world that was dark but not so dark the reader loses the light at the end of the tunnel.
