James Decker, captain of the living starship Farrago, has a mission: locate the seven symbiotes scattered across space. This mission will bring him credits beyond his imaginations, but it could also save the universe.
He has found three, but there are still four more out there.
And all the while, the strange faceless man from the Cloud Sea is never far away. He has his eye on this side of the void, and Captain James Decker might be the only one who can stop him.
A good sequel that continued to build up the world and the characters, showing us more of the authors classic writing style. The end was a bit fast paced but I can’t wait to see what happens next
I really enjoyed this book and look forward to the next one. My only criticism is that the dialogue can get a bit too long-winded and ‘clever’ for it’s own good, especially craglin. I suspect this is part-intentional, but personally I end up rapidly skimming some sections.
We also don’t seem to see much relationship-building beyond initial encounters, which is a bit of a shame.
Again a great story, lots of action, humor and loving debauchery. It is a story that just reels you in and keeps you on that baited hook. This installment begins to show more of the other factions that make up this universe. And show the darker side of the villain and where his plans strive to. Can't wait for the next episode in this series.
This was very good storytelling and the characters are really starting to be flushed out. I am very interested to read the third book. I clearly like the pace and excellent twists and turns the story takes and the main villain is a real god like figure. Cannot wait for the ending.
The first book was better than the second. The second book seem to be just a rehash of characters with different names added. It was way to word padded for me to really enjoy it.
I really enjoyed book 1 and this one was better. New locations and new powers plus the crazy things that come out of Craglin's mouth. About the only negative is I wish the Mc spent more time with the Symbiotes.
As with all this authors writings you will not be disappointed!!! A fabulously entertaining science fiction series, with element of both soft and hard science fiction!!! More more nore
Here we go again! I think this was better than the first, lots of action and interpersonal relationships. Still needs some proofreading, but so do all books. Keep up the good work and get the rest of the story out to your friends.
Book 2 had be literally on the edge of my seat for for than half the book. This was excellent. I almost missed my Thanksgiving dinner because I was so absorbed in this bit of fantastic adventure. I can’t wait to read book 3 when it comes out.
Okay, there are 7 ladies as crew! Plus a pint size drunk genius handyman. Be interesting what he gets from the last two. I am thinking he will become the stud for the symbiotic race as well!
Very good 2nd book in the series. Dante has once again fleshed out new characters and expanded on old ones in a way that will make reading about them very interesting. 👍
If you’ve read book one, this installment is very predictable, not bad, but you know what you’re getting. Pretty good main character, and the supporting cast is starting to develop some, so that adds to the storyline.
